Centares, the "last civilized stop" before the Outer Rim - where people travelling up and down the Parelemian and Mara routes - with the Daragon Trail being a quick jump over would come to rest their heads. The planet had long since advertiesed and been a waystop for travellers, and the Lasat who entered into "The Cat's Castle", one of many pubs that allow for those same travellers to meet either by happenstance or for business.
This particular establishment had been a favorite of hers' as of late, spacious enough to accommodate her size, open-minded enough to give salami scraps to her drakeling, Beviin in exchange for odd jobs. Sometimes she'd play the guitar, or the piano; sometime she'd act as a bodyguard - and there was that one time she had to solo an underground pit-fighting tournament - but with Beviin's yawn as the sun gave way to the moonless night, Kebii'kara Solus could take solace in a mercifully slow night. Truth be told, she had been looking forward to simply imbibing in the atmosphere of the pub, to reconnect with the people she wanted to protect - and how much she's failed.
She wondered if she could get a quieter table, away from conversation, so she could eat and think. She had gained prestige, gallivanting from Kalinda to Lianna, her quest for immanent spirituality had lead her to a painfully political purpose. The Lasat had found her home, similar to the Sunstar Order, in the Lilaste Order based all the way in the Aurora Station, a group of Force Users pursuing balance - true balance, and a perspective different from the Sith and the Jedi. An Order not bound, at least not directly, to the whims of one politician or another, one where she could perhaps have her questions answered... but she found that the galaxy she lived in wasn't as willing to permit her to live her ideals.
Per the tenets of the Sunstar Order, she could neither strike first, nor abide by imperialism - and yet by tacit permission she allowed for both. Ruisto, Munto Codru, Lothal... there were some worlds where she believed she did better than most, true, but she couldn't shake the notion about how the Empire of the Lost was finding new allies and enemies - the Mandalorian Enclaves, the culture she grew up under... would House Solus join the Empire in conquest of the Galaxy? Would she choose between her family and her ideals? More pertinently, it was no secret that the Lilaste Order was pro-Imperial, she volunteered to be a liason for Duality's sake! Knights served monarchs, true, and she honored the civic law, but can such things ever be reconciled...?
With a squawk from Beviin, the lumbering Lasat nearly avoided a black haired human girl, with a practiced "Pardon me." Emerald eyes widened as she recognized who exactly this young human girl was. The butcherer of the Stormtrooper Rebellion on New Alderaan, and a participant of the triumphal podrace - the daughter of the newly elected Emperor,
