[Onrai]

"Easy. Salvage a rocket launcher from the shuttle, if you can, lieutenant. We'll draw its fire." The captain shot at the droid, getting its attention.

 

[Onrai]

Nodding obediently, the lieutenant began to scour the wreckage. "Found it! But it's busted..."

 

[Onrai]

The tank droid's laser cannons fired ominously close to the captain. "Throw it at him!"

 

[Onrai]

The lieutenant did so, then fired at the rocket launcher, blowing it up and causing the tank droid to fall over, losing a leg.

 

[Onrai]

"There we go..." The captain came in close, gunning the tank droid down. "Gotcha, you bastard..."

 

[Onrai]

"Sir... You don't need to keep shooting it." The lieutenant helped him put his guns down. "It's dead."

 

[Onrai]

"Yeah... I guess I did go overkill. Now how do we get off this place?" The captain crossed his arms.

 

[Onrai]

"This is Gorgon command. We're sending a shuttle to pick you and your squad up now. Good job." The lieutenant smiled. This was a victory in his opinion.

 

[Onrai]

"There's just one thing I don't get..." The captain began to stroke his chin.

 

[Onrai]

"And what's that?" The Lieutenant was curious as to the issue he saw.

 

[Onrai]

"What bored the holes through -" The Captain was interrupted as he spotted the Engineer get his head bit off by a mutant mynock.

 

[Onrai]

"Well, that answers that question." An entire swarm of the beasties was upon them, and the lieutenant began killing as many as he could.

 

[Onrai]

"Well, this is a nice twist ending, isn't it?" The captain continued to fire at the scum, wiping them out.

 

[Onrai]

"True that, captain." The lieutenant crushed a mynock under his boot. "True that."

 

[Onrai]

But all would not end up well. A mynock got on his head and began to acidify him. "Get it off of me!"

 

[Onrai]

The lieutenant obliged, shooting the thing off his head, but it was too late. "I'm sorry... but you likely won't live."

 

[Onrai]

"Never did trust these armors anyway..." His horribly burned face showed under his destroyed stormtrooper helmet. "Tell my wife I love her."

 

[Onrai]

"Don't worry, I will..." The lieutenant watched, chuckling to himself as the captain began to die.

 

[Onrai]

"Heh... What's so funny, Lieutenant?" He gasped, his final moments becoming nothing but a blur.

 

[Onrai]

"Well, Brie and I have been having an affair behind your back for months now." The lieutenant figured that would kill him off.
