ADVANCED SYSTEMS

STRENGTHS
  • Highly Armed: Unlike its cousin, the First Order Atmospheric Assault Lander, the Sith-Imperial Atmospheric Infantry Transport possesses a serious number of armaments designed for rapid insertion and ship-to-ship boarding.
  • Highly Armored: The AIT is equipped with quadanium steel armored titanium, a sturdy and dependable reinforced hull that allows the transport to weather a flurry of attacks in the event the shields are ever disabled. Strong shields, primarily positioned at the front of the craft, allow the AIT to withstand considerable resistance from its targets; whether on the ground or in space.
WEAKNESSES
  • No Hyperdrive: The AIT must be deployed from a cruiser or destroyer in orbit and cannot travel independently during a campaign. Luckily, any invasion force is required to possess a good quantity of AITs to maneuver their infantry across the battlefield.
  • Low Maneuverability: The design of the AIT's engines didn't leave a lot of room for wider ranges of maneuverability, but then again it doesn't need to be especially nimble for tactical insertions and troop deployment.
  • Forward Arc: All of the AIT's weapons are placed on the front of the transport, forcing it to only attack anything within its forward firing arc. Attacks from the rear can go virtually unchallenged without proper fighter escort.
DESCRIPTION

During Kaine Zambrano's tenure as a guest of the First Order, he took note of many of their technological advancements as they waged war against the Galactic Alliance. One of the technologies that piqued the Dark Lord's interest was their Atmospheric Assault Lander, a combat-zone rapid-deployment transport that could ferry twenty of the Order's stormtroopers into battle in under half a minute.

Though lightly armed, the vessel proved an efficient way of quickly ferrying two squadrons of soldiers into battle relatively quickly. As Zambrano departed the First Order to forge his own Empire in the Tingel Arm, the idea of the AAL stuck with him.

Now the engineers of the Sith Empire have finally given Zambrano his answer to the First Order's lander -- the Atmospheric Infantry Transport.

Sporting two missile pods that doubly act as engine blocks, four ion cannons, and a total of eight laser cannons, the AIT was significantly more armed than its First Order counterpart. Not only that, but the AIT could ferry not twenty, but thirty Sith-Imperial Legionnaries into battle through disembarkation ramps located at the front and rear of the vessel. Additional docking rings on the top and bottom of the craft allow the transport to board other ships in space, turning the ship into a reliable boarding craft.

First things first, I will need a faction, company or something linked in Manufacturer if you do not mind.

Other than that, it appears fine to me. Nothing too terrible.

Not sure who would want to try and stop that thing, and expect to come out living though.
