SPECIAL FEATURES

• Capable of ferrying large metrics of cargo (ore, munitions, vehicles, slaves, etc) to and from planet-side locations at high speeds.
• Legionnaires assigned to guard Conveyax Transports are outfitted with gription boots to magnetically anchor them to the train's metallic surface.
• The Conveyax Transport car connectors are slave-rigged to the conductor modules, requiring the input of both operators to disconnect any segment of the train.

WEAKNESSES

• Rails: Because the Conveyax Transports are on rails, they can easily be ambushed by enemies of the Sith Empire or derailed if the railway is destroyed.
• Lack of Dedicated Defense Weaponry: While each operator car has a pair of repeating blaster cannons and an anti-aircraft turret, the middle segments of the train are relatively unarmed with the exception of documented modification.

DESCRIPTION

As the Empire's strength grew, so too did opposition against its tyrannical rule. On frontier worlds, bands of revolutionaries launched daring raids against Imperial shipping to disrupt supply routes leading to Imperial garrisons or fortresses. Movement of cargo across planets was especially put at risk, especially with the advent of more sophisticated anti-aircraft weaponry falling into the hands of revolutionary fighters.

Movement of goods was relegated along guarded convoys as the Empire began to construct elaborate railways and developed armored trains. The Railcrawler Conveyax Transport was the Empire's most armored version of these mag-rail trains, possessing strong enough armor to withstand starfighter attacks, let alone the guerilla tactics of rebels and terrorists.

With the passing of the Korriban Enactment by the Sith Emperor, Conveyax Transports quickly found use to move prisoners from military starports to labor camps all along backwater worlds on the frontier and in Wild Space.

Detained Jedi would often find themselves in specially built-cars to withstand their Force powers, a constant stream of ixetal cilona pumped into their veins. They'd spend their last hours of life in internment camps designed to break their spirits and bodies, destroying them utterly by the cruel hand of the Sith.
