what about the other creatures you and thurion showed. the beorni included... giant bears aren't going to like sith trying to smash their world... might dislike valkyri but no one punches them but them

They'll show up for sure. They won't stand by and watch their home burn, and considering that this will be the first time in history that Midvinter is attacked by an exterior threat it will ultimately serve to unite the entire planet. It will also show the Valkyri that perhaps it's time for a slight upgrade.

I'll show up with at least three of my characters; Thurion (who will already be on the ground at the time of the attack alongside Coci), Thyrian (obviously, since he's the High King) and Arnor (my Beorni character who will show up with reinforcements).

You know you could grab the armor off the bears from His Dark Materials/Golden Compass. I want to see a bunch of bears all charging down some Sith covered in battle armor.

So, are we getting any help from the Galactic Alliance? I've been told that a few of them are looking to finally start reaching out to other lightside factions like the SJO post-Kaeshana. This could be a good opportunity to foster some good relations and finally start working together like I've always wanted. How about the Iron Empire? We've OOCly started discussing things with the GA. Nothing ICly yet. There is a thread with the Iron Empire, haven't been following it however. That said, both are pretty literally on the other side of the galaxy, unless they had representatives in place already (which is possible) their fleets/soldiers wouldn't get there in time.

We haven't been contacted about it. ICly, it also makes sense that we would be snubbed. I would assume the GA are hesitant to trust any OS splinter faction, regardless of the views they have on the Sith.

As some have stated above, this is a surprise attack by the Sith and for the GA or IE to suddenly show up simply wouldn't make sense. Midvinter sits at the very edge of the galaxy, after all.

these are approved for transporting and they are armored to handle the harshness of worlds

we also have a number of ships that could work for purposes. the new interceptors can tag locations of enemy troops with an ion tag to disable equipment and nano missiles used for controlled explosions.
