There is a definite power creep, defenses in place and just ignored. contacted about it and got "well I already posted so to late now" either way at this point just looking to have fun and dev some of our equipment. the fact all of the defenses were ignored and suddenly there is an army in the city that has two layers of planetary shields, two large walls, soldiers, droids, walkers, armor, turrets defending it and "lol inside slaughter everything" it is boring already

In my most recent post I mentioned the Defenses that the we have put up. I also made it so the fighting was occurring outside of the City walls.

If they continue to do so, then you must make posts that affirm the presence of defences. Say things like "Sith forces that managed to sneak into the inner city were completely annihilated" or something like that. That could work right?

At the end of the day, all NPC's are just fluff - background noise. The Sith can pull as many reinforcements out of their behinds as they want, but it won't help them win this battle.

npc's are fluff it is true but it is also a thing where we've seen the fluff be used to do constant harassment. Korriban, "fleeting except between these people and npcs are background noise..... but we're hiding behind npc meatshields we spawned and attacking us proves you are evil"

They can state their troops are slaughtering our people, and all we have to do is state our forces are holding. Just focus on whooping their characters' butts, this is not worth getting a headache over.

Pretty much did this in my last post. Even had Coci use the force to turn some of their armies on each other. No one complained about because most in the thread realise it is just background and at the end of the day means absolutely nothing. Why people are getting upset by this is frankly beyond my understanding. The entire reason of this skirmish, regardless of who starts it, is to have fun.

Opposition members in the Sith Order have been contacting us asking question regarding Midvinter in order to get the lore and story correct, so kudos to them.

If armies are approaching the area in which your character is located, just add in more in your post, it really is just that simple. Use the Rangers, use the Valkyri to add more like Thurion suggested.

If something is happening with your character and between another PC on the opposite side that you are not happy with, contact them first to see if you can sort it, and if not then contact us.

[member="Coci Heavenshield"] Mostly cause they use this to gain wins they otherwise wouldn't often and I am very stern on agreements myself. So to me any breach however small tells me I should be mistrusting of that person. Their players often also get mad if i don't lose in 2 or 3 posts and thus are just looking for kills. It means for a very annoying and boring RP. So I get picky about people I rp with for that.

Do keep in mind that this is not an invasion. No matter what the Sith do they cannot claim the world as their own, and there are no rules of engagement when it comes to skirmishes. This is not a contest of who racks up the most victories, it's purely intended for story and neither side has anything to lose.
