Description: While Subach's primary operations were located in CIS-controlled territory, a sales job by Pandeima acquired the company on Charros IV, near the edges of Sith space. This factory, while somewhat offering starfighters of first-generation Subach make, was predominantly designed as a weapons factory. When the engineers were informed that the Sith would likely require a more standardized blaster for their military forces, Subach's weapon designers officially went all-in on the design of the Imperator blaster pistol.
The Imperator is primarily comprised of cast alusteel pieces allowing for minimum weight at maximum structural strength. The weapon is powered by an exposed diatium power cell, giving the Imperator the power of your basic heavy blaster pistol. The exposure to the air allows for more rapid cooling and a faster refire rate. As well, power cells could be double-stacked onto one another, doubling ammunition capacity at a cost of being unable to use the gun's sights.
