Skill of a Master

Ah, Cularin. Filled with jungles, mountains and the like. Such a peaceful environment. Birds are singing. Plants are growing. On days like these, people like Kha'ro should be relaxing. But, relaxing is not what he was doing, no maam. Deep in a forest, sitting on a branch, was a youngster, Kha'ro, deep in meditation...

He had arrived on the planet just after sending a message to his master, [member="Matsu Ike"]. It went like this.

'Message sent by: Jedi padawan Kha'ro. Greetings master. If you have the time, please meet me on Cularin to continue my training. I will be around these co-ordinates' which are then sent.

"I hope she arrives - I know she could be busy. I am still far from being a knight. I should continue my training."

He focuses and searches deep within the force, feeling it flowing through him. Feeling it flowing through everyone else. He feels it emanating from somebody.

"She's here."

The world was a good place to work on different aspects of the force. One of the largest things they were doing she could see while moving forward into the deserts of Cularin. The ship provided them a lot of work until she clasped her hands behind her back to go and meet one of her padawans. He was a hard worker, she was a spry master that was able to work on the larger aspects of all of it. She was providing many of the attention to some of the bigger things they had been doing like many of the protective mesh equipment being constructed then tested. She wore the mesh robe herself as it was weaved with the dreamsilk to provide a lot to the jedi in terms of focus. "It is good to see you padawan."

Kha'ro drops from his low branch, bending his knees as he lands,

"And the same to you, master."

he says sincerely. He looked at his master before him. She surely was something, as he had experienced first-hand before. She was the perfect example of a Jedi master. Kha'ro started out barely managing a simple saber throw, and though he still had much to learn about the force, the person standing before him had taught him a lot so far. He truly respected his master - and not just because of her rank. And now was time to learn more.

She was looking at him when he came down remaining neutral with her eyebrows raising up slightly at his entrance. A small feeling with the force across the planet while she has been working on many of the things in the world. With the work Sasori had been doing out in the systems there was Almas and Cularin to recover and restore as much as they could on. She even had reports coming in from Coruscant again that the Galactic Alliance had worked to liberate it from the hands of the one sith and she could possibly recover her and Hanna's apartment there.. maybe but quietly when she spoke. "It is good to see you alive and well padawan."

[member="Matsu Ike"]

Kha'ro nods,

"You too. Not that much could change that in your case."

And he said that sincerely. His master would be 'alive and well' until she grew old as the galaxy itself. Okay, maybe a bit of an exaggeration, but still, she was not getting hurt easily. he noticed a slight sting on the back of his cheek. Wha? Oh, wait a minute, the braid. Gravity caused it to slap his face slightly, but barely noticeably.

She chuckled with a small smile to that while she was looking over a few of the things. "Well things always change, we shall see what can be done." Matsu continued to walk and here on Cularin well the jedi had some ideas that could work with many of the things. Sasori's work on the planet was using it and the raw material that came from the world itself to push them forward with some of the ideas. Desert stand and everything needed to clear off the world while pushing forward with soe of the ideas that Corvus had given her about equipment that they could work on. "We have been scouting this world for many things and with Almas so close there are two worlds the jedi can use for new purposes."

Kha'ro smiled, walking with his master.

"Two worlds?"

Kha'ro says it not too surprised, as the Jedi are a large group and would obviously want all the space they can get. More just thinking about what his master was saying, and words coming out. Wonder what they were scouting this planet for though. He took a look around as he walked.

"In this system, in others we have been working on a number of things. Worlds like this that are out of the way and not used can provide plenty of new prospects for what the jedi tech divisions and the artisan's use to work on many of the things." Raw material, raw resources in the deserts and desolate worlds were important to sasori. She knew things were being worked on across other planets and systems to provide new resources to create the mesh they have been developing. With the raw resources all around the worlds they were able to provide everything they wanted for the jedi to use providing many of the people.

"Sounds helpful."

A very brief reply, but it sums up what Kha'ro was thinking in two words. I mean, what don't the Jedi need? It's no surprise they'd want more space to work with, and it'd definitely give them some benefit. [member="Matsu Ike"] seemed to understand these things very well anyway, so whether he agreed or not Kha'ro would've listened.

She looked at him with a nod though there was also the thing where Sasori was working to construct everything the jedi could and would need for the foreseeable future. She had worked on developing many of the other things before she clasped her hands behind her back and could see some of the jedi she worked with bringing the engineering equipment to start setting everything up. "It will, now come along and we shall work with many of your skills. There might be a surprise for you coming." Matsu remained going forward with more ideas checking all of it out when she smiled to herself tapping a foot onto the sands.

Kha'ro nods, making a comment,

"A surprise? Well, that's intriguing."

He asks no more. I mean, would it even be a surprise if he did? Training with Matsu always brought surprises. Heck, Kha'ro still remembered that whole adventure thing her apprentices, him included, did a long while ago. This'd be fun. Matsu, in Kha'ro's eyes, was wise but not boring, or that was a simple way to describe it. Not many hard-to-interpret proverbs but still a lot of learning in training. A very good teacher, to say the very least.

Matsu looked at him for a moment with a small frown... she was always trying to give surprises it kept her looking younger despite her age and allowed her a chance to really beef up a number of the things she was doing. Rolling over the different attentions in her mind when she came through getting a grin on her face. "Yes, something good, now I want to see what you ahve learned with both the force and with the blade before I make any judgements." Her idea was sound and her padawan had done a great many things to earn what she had for him while walking over to find a place and she shaped a section of the earth into a place she could sit pullling out her parasol as it opened and vibrated with the force.

Kha'ro whistled, impressed at how casually she morphed the ground. Guess with how much she's trained, she could do it barely even thinking. He watches as she opened her parasol. Unsure quite what she was doing, Kha'ro asked,

"What did you have in mind?"

He was honestly curious at what he had to do here.

Matsu looked at him while she was watching and held a hand out shaping and shifting the sands of the area around them to make a small area he could work on. She wanted him to show off his talents show she could work with him on his form but first she needed to see what he had been practicing skill wise. "I want you to go over and show me what you have done and as you need it I will move in and join you in the display to help you and teach you." But she wanted him to start them off first while she sat there with a smile on her face and raised eyebrows.

Kha'ro closes his eyes and clasps his hands as he focuses. He feels himself and the things around him in the force. Alright. Opening his eyes, he telekinetically lifts two large, heavy objects somewhere near him. A large, thick branch and another, slightly thinner one. They float higher up and Kha'ro grabs, ignites, then throws his lightsabers upwards. They spin as he manipulates them with the force and they slice through the branches, which fall. The sabers are pulled back down to Kha'ro and their movement was rather controlled - as [member="Matsu Ike"] had taught him how to focus it before. After taking a breather, and if Matsu didn't want to do more on it, Kha'ro would perform a saber kata too, with good speed and force but a few moves off. Though he is rather proficient with it, he could use work practicing finesse.

Matsu sat there and watched him, his skills had improved, his talent with the force to focus and the blade works were what were important to defend himself when she was offering a small smile on her face. Very good. The small nod was there when she watched taking in the kata he was doing before she noted a few flaws that came with it. Experience would correct those in time before she held the parasol and didn't twirl it a moment in her hands. THe force enhanced wood of the shaft concealing the beskar blade giving way to a small grin on her face when she was more then happy to speak. "You are doing well, continue and show it with your force training. Move around."

"Move around?"

He nods, understanding what [member="Matsu Ike"] means. Strength-enhancement and such, some refer to it as surge or force speed. Kha'ro ran at a slightly amplified speed at a tree with a low branch, which he jumped up to normally, with no force enhancement. Pulling himself up, Kha'ro did indeed use the force in order to kick off of the tree and reach another, higher, branch. Though he only catches it with one arm, he quickly places his other arm on and looks around. Aha! He spots a vine and kicks off the branch, throwing himself at and grabbing it. Though with his speed it breaks and he lands on the ground and trips to his knee before quickly pushing himself back up. Wow, that was harder than it looked. Kha'ro scratched his neck, breathing heavily.

matsu was watching him while he preformed and it looked very effective, her hand on the parasol before she closed it and moved qith the force in her body. Augmenting her speed while she lept up to meet him and held the parasol like a blade to defend and protect against attacks but wasn't here to fight him. She wanted to see how he adapted and reacted to chages in situation as she could augment her speed more then enough to quickly surpass and beat out as needed. The sounds of the prefabricated construction bases to start harvesting the raw resources of the planet with all of its sand in the deserts to be used. here and on Almas so they could produce and create wintrium.

Kha'ro would stop partway through his traversal as he saw Matsu come up to meet him. Further testing, should've been expected. He was about to leap to the vines, but instead - after a pause of surprise - he scrambles upwards on his tree, jabbing it with his hand so he has a small stick-out area to hold as he adjusts himself to kick higher up. Unless his master further tested him, he would end up in a similar position to what could have happened, though he instead rolls over to stand.

Matsu stayed with him mimicing the movement of her padawan more like it was a mirror and kept the parasol out to jab and prod to try and trip him up. There was some method to it but she wanted to test all fo his abilities and see how perspective he was to her thoughts. What could he pick up in the long run as the jedi master move up the tree with grace balancing and staying there when the wind picked up blowing her bangs to the side "You are doing well, keep it up and use all of your abilities within this session. It isn't solely to rely on your skill, your speed, your mind, you stamina will need to be focused."
