What we do need to think about is the likelihood of the Sith bringing in their "pets" so we should think about potential responses to them. I'm not watching them bring in a leviathan and say "hey that building is destroyed" again.

I don't think it's likely this time. It's just a skirmish and not a full invasion. Darth Praelior is also the one who usually brings them, and it looks like a golden ropo was the only one brought, which granted, can summon star-wierd, so it might be worse than the giant monsters.

I'll start by saying that this is RP and not a board-game but despite some ahem impressive skills from even Sith Apprentices - the OS currently have twice as many people involved as we do.

Over the last couple of weeks we've heard how people want to be more active, how they aren't being given the opportunity to get involved in skirmishes.

Well here's one and we need your help if we're to turn the tide of recent activity. Many people were appalled by the concept we should roll over and surrender to the One Sith. I direct those people to the Zeltros thread.

Also can a Sith Acolyte really just flick his wrists and turn whoever into ghouls? I'm an NFU, commanding NFU NPCs, if I see him just hand waving resistance away I will call bull.

We have plenty of people in the thread, the problem is that there is just way too many Sith showing up, which is ridiculous considering that this is only a skirmish. There should have been a set cap. In addition, it looks like they're pretty top heavy with master level characters. I'm real iffy about that.

However, even though they have a superior number of PCs, the environment favors us. It's deep within the Republic with a sizeable security force, not to mention backup from the Republic military (Cam, our other NFUs). As time goes on, the Sith should be at a rising disadvantage as Republic forces close in on them (even with all their pets), and we should roleplay the conditions as such. Out of that whole band, I really only see a few folks that will give us much trouble anyway.

We do not lose Zeltros even if the skirmish goes south.
