Balun Dashiell
Dashiell Retrofit™
Location: Denon, Inner Rim Territories.
Tagging: Binary .
Denon was a fairly well-known World, infamous for its criminality and lack of effective policing; it seemed a perfect world for Balun Vale to visit. Despite having a Jedi Master, the old man was mostly retired from active service as far as Balun could tell, and there still remained the need to get out there in the Galaxy and get by on his own terms. To learn the ins and outs of a life no longer sheltered by the Temple Walls as so many others were, and to expose himself to the gritty reality of life in the Galaxy for so many less fortunate people. After all, not just anyone could be a Jedi, and the use of the Force was a blessing Balun couldn't deny, giving him an edge over the typical populace.
Having been dropped off by other members of Clan Terentatek, their ship soon departed as quickly as they had arrived, hoping to avoid any unnecessary attention to the otherwise stolen starship, Balun promptly departed the starport for the commercial district of Denon's capital. Though he didn't have much financial backing anymore, having buried most of his savings into the creation of his current field apparel, Balun did want to seek out other potential assets that were on sale and could suit him well enough in future missions or assignments given to him by Julius Sedaire ; Thankfully, at least so far, Balun's Master hadn't been made aware of the boy's less than legal activities alongside the friends he had made recently.
The markets were as busy as to be expected, but the variety of people caught Balun's eye, many of whom looked to be in their element and not in the law-abiding positive sense. There were groups that held patches displayed on their jackets, there were others looking even shadier, smoking what Balun could only guess to be some form of illicit substances, and everyone here wore a blaster on their hip or otherwise displayed in sight of the general public.
"We're certainly not on Coruscant anymore" Balun muttered under his breath quietly as he passed through the crowd, seeking the nearest market stall in search for potential quality goods that he could make use of.
