Slime. Muck. Swamp. [CIS Dominion of Dagobah]

RESOLUTE-CLASS STAR DESTROYER
DAGOBAH ORBIT

The quiet of space was disrupted by the hum of many engines as the Confederacy of Independent Systems' vessels exited the depths of hyperspace. A taskforce, composed of numerous ships of various size and role, had departed from Confederate space with several duties to perform. This day, they had ventured away from their growing congregation of member worlds in order to visit the humble, swamp-covered world known as Dagobah. It had taken quite a few circumstances, in rapid succession, for the Confederacy to amass this force in order to make this expedition. First and foremost among these was the disappearance of a Confederate scouting vessel, filled to the brim with personnel dedicated to the pursuit of slavers in the south, only a week before.

Prior to their disappearance, the intelligence they had reported the Confederacy spoke of slaver activity occurring on the world. Apparently, the "Slaver's Guild" had taken up residence in the abandoned facility on Mount Yoda and were amassing a militant effort to resist the growing threat the Confederacy posed upon their operation. Furthermore, this same slaver entity had supposedly begun an operation to revive an ancient artifact of the Dark Side, for usage specifically against the Confederacy's own Templar Order. With this intelligence in hand, and the rescue of their disappeared personnel paramount, the Confederacy launched a full-scale operation to the swamp-covered world.

Standing at the bridge of the taskforce's flagship, a Resolute-class Star Destroyer, was the Grand Marshal of the Confederacy. Clad from head to toe in his trademark armor of white, he awaited the arrival of those who would be venturing down to the planet below in order to initiate the operation alongside him. Before the Confederate personnel laid four objectives for them to possibly choose from. The first of which was joining the Grand Marshal in an assault on Mount Yoda in order to eliminate the Slaver Guild's military force. The second of which was a covert operation in which, whilst the battle raged, personnel would infiltrate the lower levels of the compound, eliminate the majority of the Guild's leadership, liberate any and all slaves, and take prisoners for later interrogation. The third objective was the retrieval and treatment of the lost scout vessel and its crew from the horrors of the swamp. Lastly, the final objective was the defeat of the slavers attempting to revive the ancient artifact and the subsequent retrieval of this tool so that it may never fall into the wrong hands again.

And so, the Grand Marshal awaited the arrival of those who would join him for the frontal assault, whilst the other personnel were free to begin their respective objectives at their leisure.

Dharma Vessia

Lords of the Fringe
A busy bee was the life the woman had. Her plotting and using these visits to other world to gain more information was key piece to her plans. Always pulling from the dead the knowledge, there were chunks of information given to the leadership. The rest was kept locked away in the nut house called Dharma’s brain. This was the plan that dated back to her path crossing with Josiah. The path appeared to be a very long one. It might have been if she did not have other ventures going to assist in her plans.

Stepping on to the bridge of the Grand Marshmallow’s flagship, Dharma had finally worn her black Jensaarai armor. It still showed signs of her fights on Susevfi against other Jensaarai and her younger sister. Helmet held under her arm as she walked in. Even the helmet had a cut in it from her dear sister, a mark that did not make it through but did cut at an emotional level. Each step closer to the boss dude, she grinned more until she was passing him and spoke up, “Grand Marshmallow… you called… well, your armor did the calling for you, sweetum.”

Multi-colored eyes, one blue and one brown - the effects of heterochromia - stared at the Federation military force gathering for an assault on the Slavers. Lysander's fingers wrapped tensely around a cold, metal cylinder, thumb passing idly back and forth over the emitter switch. The Slavers didn't stand a chance against the Federation's military might. They would surrender - cowards that they were - or end up dying where they stood.

The Jensaarai Templar Knight itched to join battle.

Dagobah.

The last time she had stepped foot on this world was due to the Dark Harvest plague, samples of which she had acquired in the chaos. There she had save Jedi Knight Codi Zrgaat, taking her to the safety of Zel Medical and, utilizing a single-use cure consisting of varying retrovirals and a slough of biofiber, had purged the infesting monstrosity from her body. And now she was back.

And going to the Dark Side Cave.

Even funnier, the last time she had gone to the cave, there was nothing. Oh sure, the typical faint aura of the Dark Side permeated the interior, and there had been others with her, but she didn't sense any artifacts of great power. Now she did, though, and whatever it was, she wanted it. Thus, she was at the entrance, currently stalking the lone guard - they had just finished a ritual, and most of the cultists had left. She didn't know how many remained, though...

Enroute to the Dark cave of Dagobah
Juthan had been lucky to still be in the system salvaging the slaver ships he had raided when he got the notice about the CIS' assault on the slavers on the surface of Dagobah. He took no time joining his benefactors in the chance to wipe out the Slavers once and for all, and now the CIS gave him that chance. He sent the ship towards the planet's atmosphere, hoping both the fact that he was separated from the CIS fleet, and the fact that he was piloting a much smaller and faster ship would keep him off the prying eyes of the Slavers. The only thing that might tip them off was a radar scan of his ship, or the fact that he came from the general direction that his own fleet had been sitting at as they raided the Slaver ships that had been in orbit. The few ships that remained with the disabled slaver ships would be sending a friendly beacon to the CIS fleet anyways, so there was no need to worry about being fired on, nor being mistaken for slavers.

He leaned back in his chair as he went into the murky planets atmosphere, all his sensors turned off and pretty much flying with his systems dark. For now, the only thing that would see him were a basic radar scan and even then it would be very much possible to mistake his ship for something native to Dagobah. Should no problems arise he would try to land in a clearing, but of course this would be nearly impossible to do flawlessly. He would have to rely on the CIS to provide a large enough distraction or otherwise be caught before he even reached the ground.

Overhead, the Resolute-class Star Destroyers of the CIS found themselves under the command of Myra Subach. Their hangar bays were prepped for launch, and soon, they would be pouring over the pirate lands, gathering more ships for Subach to dissect for CIS intelligence - and some for whatever Circe's pet project may have been.

"@[member="Genesis Rostu"], this is the Indicant. We're in position and ready to deal with whatever pirate forces are down there. As usual, we intend to capture as much of the pirate infrastructure as possible, in order to dissect locations of other bases and rally points. It'll help break down piracy in the sector."

Bellalika stood in her armored robed with the glasteel mask on while she listened. The corsairs were here for one reason to help the CIS and it was kind of funny being back. She wasn't the same girl who had been here before. Oh no she was here as a spy playing a pirate playing at war as a spy... It was all very very complicated and she didn't mind it at all. No she rather enjoyed it as she walked letting the gold mask be her window. A full view from one side that her MK II ESSEX visor helped with but it was more then that. She had grown since before in her dampening presence to keep others from noticing her. Now she just stood off to the side checking the purge unit before securing it on her hip. "The Corsairs are here." She looked around letting the slits in the mask hide everything. Voice filter and to scanners she was fifty different species.

Desmond arrived on the bridge right on time, his durasteel armor still unmarked save for the red and gold double-cresh Curtain Call insignia on the shoulder-pads. His grenades and disruptor were already on his belt and bandolier, the heavier weapons were packed away on one of the dropships, along with the speeder bikes he'd requisitioned for his team.

"Genesis, always good to see you," he grinned toothily, walking up to join the rest of the assembled group, "I hear you've got even more slavers for me to shoot."

Olidiv stood beside Desmond, snapping a quick salute with his upper-left arm to the man. Dagobah was a grimy swamp, but the money was good. He grinned under his gas mask. "Greetings General. Desmond tells me you've got a problem that needs smoking, so we've come to help blow 'em black to the stone age," he said jovially. He brought a static pike, three vibroswords, blaster pistols, and a swoop bike. Every thing but the pike was holstered in a green, ankle length leatheris duster with a few durasteel plates sewn in. After all, just because he had to wear a flak jacket didn't mean it couldn't be a stylish one.

Aedan Miles was sitting in the new Devastator-class heavy fighter in the hangar of the Dragon's Roost he had been called in to assist with the elimination of slavers he had no real issue doing this. He had decided that he and his squadrons would take point in the air combat sense well they were the Corsairs they took back seat to no one. As they dropped out of hyperspace Aedan keyed his com "All squadrons launch and form up on Dragoon Squadron." He grinned as he saw the other eleven fighters of dragoon squadron lift off and then come around so that they were obviously ahead of the CIS starfighters. He laughed deeply as he saw that his 4 ships were even a good deal of space ahead of the CIS. He activated his com again "This is Captain Aedan Miles of the Corsair Brotherhood we are on station with a full flights worth of fighters. ALSO I have lead on the air combat." HE laughed over the com as he heard his men chuckle softly he then spoke again "Any Corsairs present you will have 20 squads o Crags at your disposal today remember they are our family not tools Do not let them die if you can save them." He cut the channel as he started to slowly throttle forward to keep space between his forces and the CIS ones.

He opened another channel to @[member="Genesis Rostu"] "Yo Grand Marshal Corsairs are here and we got the fighters they have once they decide to show up. If they decide to show up." Aedan laughed lightly to himself as he brought his fighters around on course to the landing area. "All shuttles launch and prepare to touch down."

Nocturno was aboard his Geonosian Dreadnaught Battle cruiser, the insectoid layout was still foreign to the cyborg. As if going from a lab to the real world wasn't bad enough, now he was sitting inside a giant flying insect lair.

"This is Nocturno to Grand Marshal Rosu."

Daxton walked slowly into the bridge, giving a friendly smile to familiar faces. His ribs hadn't fully healed from the recent attack by unknown forces on the Temple but he refused to let that slow him down. Unfortunately, the Orbalisk toxin counteracted pain killers so he couldn't numb the pain. No matter, it was worth it considered the gains he had made.

"Where will my blades best serve the cause, my commander? Perhaps once this nasty business is done, we can repay the cowards who attacked the Temple and obtain from them their pound of flesh, yes?" If one listened to Daxton, one could not determine if he meant that in the figurative sense of the word or the more literal sense.

Flynn already had his orders. He will join the covert op to infiltrate the lower levels of the compound, "eliminate" the leadership bar one or two, which will be interrogated, then executed. The bridge of the Resolute-class SD is filled with in all CIS members here for the mission. He hung back and simply leaned against the hull waiting for the other infiltrators to arrive.

He would have hoped to be on ground before the main attack had began, in position waiting. The infiltrators will need to find a position away from the main action and then strike. He stood there dressed in camoflarge, the only armour adorning his body is a chest plate. Blasters in their holster, and a long range rifle over his shoulder. He had various equipment stored away in a heavy belt. With his arms folded across his chest and one leg up with his foot against the hull, he waited.

With the arrival of faces, both familiar and new, at the bridge, the Grand Marshal looked away from the holo-projection of the ground below and faced the growing number of Federation personnel who were reporting to the bridge. His hands neatly folded behind his back and he strode forth, gazing at them through the photochromatic visor of his helm. Coming to a halt beside the terminal, he motioned to the holo-projection and began the briefing; opening a channel of direct communication to all those present, in adjacent ships, and on the ground.

"Ladies and gentlemen, we have our work cut out for us. Our mission is Dagobah, and there are many objectives which lie before us. @[member="Myra Subach"], @[member="Aedan Miles"], @[member="Sophia Walsh"]; you three are on coverage. The Slavers are amassing a force on Mount Yoda, which includes starfighters and capital ships in low orbit. I leave it to you to eliminate these threats so that we may safely land and begin our operation."

"To any of the Corsair Brotherhood who are not in the air (@Bellalika), you are to accompany @[member="Dharma Vessia"], @[member="Oron"], @[member="T:N1:LDR"], and any other of our Phantoms or Templar Infiltrators down to the surface so that you may breach the Mount Yoda Compound. "@[member="Desmond Voralis."] and @[member="Olidiv Kenu"], first I must say that it is a pleasure to see the both of you. It's been far too long. Today, you'll be accompanying myself, @[member="Sonja Mercier"], @Nocturno, @[member="Lysander of Suarbi"], and the majority of our combat forces for a frontal assault on the Mount Yoda Compound. We want this ground battle to be as loud as possible, thereby giving our Phantoms and Infiltrators room to breach without opposition."

"@[member="Daxton Bane"], your expertise served us incredibly well on Adarlon. As such, I'd like you, Josiah, and any other of the Templars who desire to join you to go down to the Dark Side Cave and halt whatever those cultists are attempting to revive. Recover the artifacts so that we can be absolutely certain they do not fall into the wrong hands. After this operation, we'll discuss that which occurred at Roon in length..."

"@[member="Feena Mason"], whenever you are free, I'd like you, @[member="Praxis"], @[member="Cadmon Lussk"], your Mandalorian friend, and any volunteers to head up the recovery effort. There is a downed vessel of good men and women in the midst of that swamp, and it is your hand that can liberate them."

"Everyone, you have your orders. Time is of the essence, so let's hit this so-called Slaver's Guild as hard as we can. Dismissed."

With the briefing concluded and the orders issued, the clone strode briskly forward, flanked by his Black Watch, heading towards the hanger. There was quite a bit of fight awaiting the Confederates in the air and on the ground...but they were ready and willing to face it all in the name of freedom. This day, the Slaver's Guild would take yet another loss at the hands of the Confederacy; of this, Genesis Rostu was absolutely certain.

THE DARK SIDE CAVE
DAGOBAH SWAMP

The Templar known as Josiah Denko stood upon the bridge and received his orders in silence. He was going back into the heart of an area characterized by the presence of the Dark Side...yet despite this fact, he was not as nervous as the previous times before. The events that had transpired on Adarlon had all but liberated him from his worries of succumbing to the Darkness, for when he investigated that power he had accessed in the midst of the Chapel, he found that it was not the trademark power of the Sith...but literal Judgment of light. With this thought spurning his confidence, the Templar rendered a salute as his superior officer passed by and made his way down to the hanger.

He selected one of the many shuttles strewn about the hanger floor and made himself comfortable within. Then, when the pilot was ready, the engines ignited and the journey down to the swamp began. It was a rather swift voyage, and upon landing the Templar immediately disembarked...only to be met with a cloying humidity that caught him off guard. Ginger, careful steps onto the moist ground heralded his arrival and he moved as silent as possible for several moments until he came upon the entrance of the Cave. There, he saw a familiar face; one from previous operations, and regarded her with a respectful nod.

"How many do you see?" he whispered.

INFIRMARY

Silence characterized the Mandalorian as he stood within the Infirmary. The Grand Marshal's orders filled his helm's communication device, and he muttered a simple "Yes sir" upon their conclusion. Whilst there was nothing ailing the warrior, he stood within the Infirmary due to the fact that he was waiting. If there was a single location that the most famous, and arguably greatest, healer in the Galaxy could be eventually found...it was the infirmary of the vessel she was known to be on at that point in time. As such, the Mandalorian formerly known as Isley leaned against the Infirmary wall, awaiting her arrival so that they may begin to carry out the orders given to them by the Grand Marshal.

And quite the orders they were...diving into a slimy hell in order to liberate comrades from the jaws of death.

Aedan heard the orders that had been given and blinked as he heard a very familiar name Walsh he had known an Admiral Walsh at one point while serving with the Protectorate. He looked at his sensors and noted that there were a series of capital ships and fighters amassed where Genesis had said. A dark grin split the young man's lips as he started to move his hands towards the controls activating his com. "Corsairs lets show them what we do." With that his fighter suddenly leapt forward followed by the remaining 5 squadrons who trailed behind him lancing directly towards the enemy presence. Everyone would also notice that that 3 of the four ships that were the Dragon Armada were starting to move forward behind the fighters firing with their weapons at maximum range. The fighters meanwhile put themselves into a sort of spiral to help throw off enemy fire.

Juthan stepped out from the loading ramp of his freighter, behind him filed out several others whom still were with him during the battle above. He breathed in teh humid swamp air, peering through the fog before turning and looking back at the troops. "You all stay here, me and Ally will go ahead and meet up with the others that want our god slaver friends dead." He turned his head to the ramp, a small Qom Jha standing on it and staring back at him. Juthan projected his mind too it, to which it sent forth its own words as the two minds connected. "Time to go?" It lifted its head up and took to the air without an answer, though it waited above until Juthan answered. "Yes, act as my eyes up ahead so that i dont get caught is a clever little trap." Juthan started to walk towards the cave, using a map on his datapad so that he remained on the right course. Ally of Outsider, the Qom Jha with him, stayed a good ten meters ahead, watching over the path ahead for any traps or others. About after ten minutes of walking Juthan was warned by Ally. "Two hiding, watching the cave. They are watching the person infront of cave." Juthan looked up at the air, Ally was heading his way and settling down on a branch to his right. He waited for the Qom Jha to perch before answering. "Thank you Ally, resume a sweep of the area, make sure to let me know if im being followed while i greet these two." He headed off in the direction of the two Ally mention and came into their view his voice lowered to a near whisper and hands in clear sight. His features were still shrouded by his battle armor and mask though, and his lightsaber and blasters hung at his side in clear view. "I assume you are CIS officers, otherwise i just walked into a trap."

Standing in the back where no one could see the lone figure. Dressed in armor from head to toe a black cloak covered the white armor that covered the body. I watched as many people entered into the room where Genesis would be handing out assignments like candy. Alot of the places that were being fronted on were by Phantoms and regular infantry units. Even then the Templars were to look for the Dark cave that could hide the lost pieces of a old and very powerful weapon. It was to be held by the CIS to keep the Jedi, and the Sith's hands off of it. I smiled at the thought of Genesis keeping the Jedi away from him. And how that was not really possible. He is a clone and was made for all intents and purposes for the Republic, Yet he stood here today. And that said something.

On my back felt the comfort of the Dark sword that I had made with mine own hands. Then at my belt were three lightsabers. The twin white sabers I made when I first started with the Sith. Originally having them red, only to be replaced years later with white when I joined the Jedi. Now that I had flopped back and for a few times I knew about the dangers of both sides. and rather liked living on the edge as I was a Master of the twilight. Every time someone in the past had said that I would fall was right, but to a point. I had risen up as I could not stand to see myself darken while others became to resent me. I had become a hard ass. and that was not who I was.

Now accepting the fact that I, Darren Shaw, a twilight individual, was born from a Sith to become a Jedi. Even then, I worked with the Templars as I wanted my feet planted firmly in both sides of the force. Taking my time I watched as Genesis made his speech bout where to hit and what would be happening. I wanted a break from the dark side. As everyone was talking and moving around I walked up to the clone addressing him only. @[member="Genesis Rostu"] "If you do not mind sir, I'd like to join in the front with you."

Silently, the guard found himself choked, a think plant vine wrapped over his mouth preventing him from making any noise as he was choked into unconsciousness. Circe gave him an injection of something else, and his sleep multiplied into several hours worth. This gave her ample opportunity to strip him of his cult robes and officially disguise herself.

Stepping into the cave, she immediately found herself feeling the power of darkness, it coursing through her veins as she stepped further in. She wanted what was inside.
