Slime. Muck. Swamp. [CIS Dominion of Dagobah]

With his blaster rifle shouldered and his offhand placed upon his hip casually, the Grand Marshal heard and carefully considered the plan that was to be executed by the High Marshal's forces. The man had to give the cyborg credit, it was a solid plan. However, with the addition of aerial support, the clone felt as though the plan of attack could succeed much better; and take away the enemy's advantage of a high ground. As such, with this thought in mind, the clone voiced his thoughts. "This is an excellent plan," he began, "and in order to further its success, I do believe that we should incorporate support from the air. Close strafing and boming runs upon the enemy forces as we move will allow us the breathing room necessary to scale the high ground and capitalize upon the enemy. It will also minimize casualties...I do believe that our Corsair friends, and any additional support from the Taskforce, can handle this task. Don't you?"

"Oh come on... Right when I was about to get those fragments and start fixing them..."

Circe, oddly enough, chose to not activate her lightsabers, instead raising her hands as a small cluster of dark energy constructs formed between them. An angered frowl came through her throat as the first of the Sith focused on her, attacking with a lightsaber... To find themselves blasted in the face with a cluster of tiny shards of illusory metal comprised of energy constructs. They staggered back, clutching their face as Circe turned, forming a rod that for the moment blocked the lightsaber of the second cultist to engage her. She focused on her leg, stretching and retracting it to knock a third away, but three others were currently rushing towards her.

"This is going to be fun..."

@[member="Josiah Denko"]

Fun wasn't exactly the word the Templar had in mind to describe the encounter, but he was a little too preoccupied with the enemy offensive to conjure a retort of merit. As such, silence and concentration ruled the Master as he parried the blade of his initial opponent and utilized the Force in order to combat those immediately bhind him. That which he projected was a step above the average telekinetic Push, it was a full-blown Repulse which sent a large portion of their midst skidding across the moist, vegetation-covered floor of the Cave. Now with a touch more room to breathe, the Templar elevated his saber and looked back to the woman.

"If you were a Slaver, and you had put together a trap in order to prevent your enemy from taking some fragments...where would you hide the fragments?" he inquired. That was all he managed to get out before having to parry the lightsaber blade of another opponent. This parry was immediately followed up with a neat slash that ended the aggressor's sordid existence.

Better than other-other space Kaiden
Nocturno nodded, his photoreceptors looking back at the slope "Yes, the incorporation of air strikes will help immensely." picking up his DC-17 rifle from its hanging position at his side, Nocturno nodded to his fellow military mind "I think we have kept these scum waiting long enough, I think they might be hungry for some...shrapnel." Nocturno switched his vocalizer to the radio frequency of the artillery battalion and began giving his orders "Indigo Haze, this is Echo-3 Actual, stand-by for fire mission." Nocturno said

"Roger, Roger Echo-3 Actual." The droid commanders voice called back, to which Nocturno responded

"Indigo Haze, begin fire mission on Grid 2-5, scattered spread and High Explosive rounds. Fire for effect, how copy?"

"Roger, Roger. Copy is good Echo-3 Actual, firing for effect." the droid's voice rang back

Nocturno turned his attention back to Genesis, his icy cold eyes piercing through his armor "Let it rain." he said in less than a whisper. Soon after, the air itself seemed to shake as the artillery cannons launched their high explosive shells at the structures at the top of the mountain. The sounds were deafening to any organic, it would cause horrible ringing and if you were too close a tremendous headache would ensue. Fire lit up the murky swamps and explosions seemed to rip through the sky, the smoke rising high and consuming the stars in the sky almost instantly. Then, just as the programming for this mission dictated, the droids began marching up the mountain...the battle was on.

"I'd hide them in plain sight, but booby trap them so whoever attempted to steal them suffered a horrible death because of it. The booby trap could of course be disabled through means I and my confidantes would be able to remember."

The first of the six to attack her was officially dead. The blast to the face was something he had succumbed to. So had the second, whom she had kicked in the balls and decapitated with the blade of energy running between her palms. The third was getting back up, but Circe remembered precisely what to do now that @[member="Josiah Denko"] had looked at the vegetation-covered floor of the cave.

"Oh right."

And the four survivors would find themselves being snagged at by the plants that were growing rapidly in an attempt to entangle them.

The trip down planetside was uneventful and hardly worth mentioning save for the slightly bumpy landing. Daxton, clad in his traditionally shiny dark green and purple armor, stepped out of the landing craft and reached out to the Force.

Dark Side energies were pooling and amassing inside the cave, forces both familiar and alien, calling out to him, making vile promises of power and knowledge. "The disturbance in the Force is strong here. Before we proceed, who here have studied defenses against mental attacks? If you haven't I would suggest you stay outside and protect the perimeter. Make no mistake this location will test you, lore states that Grandmaster Skywalker tried and failed this test so do not take this challenge lightly. As you all know, I am still recovering from the sneak attack on our temple, so I cannot come to your aid in the event, you succumb to the Cave's powers. So be forewarned. Any questions?"

Sophia heard the orders and was grateful that she wasn't going down in the swampy mud though looking for Sith artifacts did sound like fun. Lately she had been doing some reading but that was another story.

She knew being her father's daughter even here meant somebody knew him. Knowing him meant they expected her to be just as good or better than him. After all she was his blood. Sophia liked to think she was a better flyer.

Hearing the orders Sophia took off towards were the enemy fighters had begun to mass. Four other starships following behind her in formation for the moment. She didn't want them getting too far out of sight from her after all she was in charge of them and she knew from experience sometimes sticking together was better than not.

"Disable all you can, pilots. Remember - the more we manage to acquire in the vein of pirate infrastructure, the more adequately we'll know what sort of equipment the pirates have been using."

Myra's communique was disseminated across the fleet. All CIS ships would hear her message. Whether they would act on it was a different question altogether.

I stood silent when the clone addressed me. Even when I had become Darker the man still had faith that I could do my job for the CIS. I did, but as one of the founding members and taking part in what the man had once said, "saving lives" when truthfuly I felt that I was just doing my job as a force user then. During that time, I had talked to a man through a Holocron even though he was no longer alive, speaking to me abuot my life and one of the things he told me was that I would be guilty of all the good things that I did not do. Sadly I didn't know what he meant until a while ago.

The man that I had signed the document with and had saved lives from a grenade thrown by a rouge told me that I could join him and his assault. As the clone left I turned around and headed to my own drop ship that would take me down with a few other men inside. Only on the ride down did one person talk to me, the Pilot wanted to know where I they were being deployed. Speaking back through my Com-link I gave him the directions to where Genesis was at. The pilot stared at me wide eyed like I might have just told him that I wanted to see god. Nodding his head he took me there.

Once landing on the ground the swamp biome took over for the most part before it would reach the mountains that were named after the Jedi that had faded before the Jedi's eyes that would restore the Galaxy to its glory for a time. I stepped out into the muck for a little bit as I walked up to the clone in his white armor listening to the plan that the Droid commander and his plan. I was silent as the shelling was taking effect and it was softening. I smiled and walked up to Genesis. "If we were to go along with this plan. I can lead the frontal assault that goes straight up the middle while you two can lead up he sides. Once all three of us reach each other in the mountain we will know that we can only have a few stragglers."

Aedan Miles was nearing the enemy his hands gripping the yoke harder before he lined up with a enemy fighter a tone starting to sound before he depressed the trigger and watched as a proton torpedo lanced away from his fighter. Seconds later there was a flash as almost every fighter following him launched a missile or torpedo. He let a dark grin cross his lips even though most of the torpedoes or missiles missed the Devastators were among the enemy their 2 heavy laser cannons and 2 light repeating laser cannons blasting away. Aedan instead of blasting through the side of the enemy swarm deactivated his left engine swinging his fighter around quickly and then blasting forward on the tail of one of the fighters. He glanced at his sensors at his R5-D8 started to howl worriedly and he realized why 5 of the devastators had met an end in the first clash.

Juthan watched as the two, Circe and Josiah, leapt into action. Their blades cutting down the enemy as he merely stood there un-phased and silently watching. He looked at Ally off in the shadow of the cave the back at the two Templars. He took out one of the pistols that hung by his side and carefully aimed it at the four survivors that had been entangled. And without care he fired off at them, sending three shots at each of the trapped ambushers until all four had been shot at and the power cell was used up. Once done, he would holster the blaster and remove the second one on the other side of his waist. Though he remained still and silent again, his mind reaching out for Ally, telling him to keep an eye out for any late arrivals as he aimed the pistol down at the ground and waited to see whom had survived the last barrage of blaster bolts he had sent at the four Circe had incapacitated.

Feena turned to @[member="Dar'jetii"] as he approached, holding back a sigh.

"Mrs. Mason, my dear friend, it's time. There are lives in need of saving...and we're going down to the swamp to do it. So put on a pair of shoes you despise, because they're going to be utterly ruined."
"Oh. Must I? Oh... very well. But I do so hate the damp..."

The healer brought her attention back to @[member="Cadmon Lussk"].

"Well, you heard the man. You can answer my questions on the way down. You are coming with me."

Why did she decide that all of a sudden? How strange. Still, the more she had to help her, the better off she would be.

Behold, a Swordsman of Legend
Vascious had a point. But Desmond's strategy was decent. If the ground was unstable we'd jsut remove from the equation entirely. He looked over at Vascious. "Stick to the the trees. Even on the bikes we can get better stabilitly on the branches than this marsh. And nobody is gonna expect a bike to fall on them out of the sky, because it's insane."

Olidiv laughed a little at both of them. "Hover bikes over a marsh? Oh, goody, I haven't swoop raced in ages..." he said with a chuckle. He grinned as he revved the engine playfully. "Alright, you signal the pilot, we're give the locals something to talk about." He flicked his comm-links "Generals, if you're artillery has the opportunity, can we turn their anti-air guns on the south east approach to the base into mulch? Me and the rest of Curtain Call wanna give that wall one hell of an opening act!" Olidiv grinned. "Desi, Vascious, I do believe it's time to steal the show. Do what damage we can and carve a path for the cavalry!"

He smirked as as he kicked the engine and flew out of the back of the ship. Like a bat out of hell. He grinned. "Curtain Call! Time to steal this show!" He he bellowed to no one in particular as he revved off the ramp like a lunatic, lining up with a tree branch heavy enough to work as a ramp. "Whooo-hah!"

Shoes clicked on the Duranium deck, adorned with the cheery attitude only the hotshot smuggler could possess. In fact, whomever gazed upon his face would probably surmise he was headed for a party, rather than about to plunge into the depths of Hell. Not that his attire would point to the contrary, anyway. Indeed, no one ever accused him of being pragmatic. Hands tucked neatly in his pockets, he calmly strode into the infirmary.

Coming to a halt just behind the Mandalorian, he gave him mirthful smack on the shoulders. "Hey, bud! How's my favorite Mando!" His voice laced with enthusiasm, he quickly turned to Feena. "Mrs. Mason, always a pleasure." Though he hadn't socialized with them in some time, his greeting was no less warm. Finally, he noticed the unfamiliar figure of Cadmon, and casually nodded in his direction. He sized him up quickly, before speaking. "Hi, there... And you are...?

She hadn't flown too far when she heard and than saw enemy fighters right on her tail. Sophia hadn't seen them before until but no matter she would deal with them. Speeding off up and over in a few loops Sophia tried a few tricks not to loose them persay but to disperse them so that she could deal with each one separately. There was also the thing about her enjoying doing tricks. It would totally confuse everyone too and make her look non threatening.

Curtain Call, Into The Fray

Insane? Olidiv had the right of the situation in his typical cheerful demeanor. Their approach was sloppy and fraught with to many variables and ways for instant death. Vascious could defend himself properly on the ground, but at high speeds on a bike he would be at a disadvantage.

Yet the Mandalorian ignored his instincts and sat down on the bike next to the other two mercs anyway. He had become fond of them, and had to admit to himself that this was really what he wanted. The Mandalorian could have been sipping whiskey on a yacht right at that moment, but he had chosen to fling himself into the thick of the action instead. Desmond was turning out to be quite good at finding the adrenaline rushes.

The old ex-Sith Master took a deep breath and opened himself to the force. He had been keeping his presence masked from the Templars, but his mind and his senses had to be keen for what they were about to do. Then Desmond and Olidiv kicked their bikes into gear and Vascious followed after them down into the marsh below.

Mt. Yoda - Curtain Call Strike Team

Desmond watched in awe as the artillery rained down ahead of their advance, shells bursting on the ground and in the air peppering the defensive emplacements ahead of their charge. In his manic, adrenaline fueled state, he could only laugh and let out a warcry as he twisted his bike to follow down the path created by a newly felled tree, skirting along the edge of the impact crater on his way towards the slaver camp perimeter. Whatever guards had been here were clearly still keeping their heads down, or simply disbelieved that an attack would follow up less than thirty seconds after the initial bombardment. It didn't matter. A gate in the compound wall still stood and he aimed his bike directly at it, opening up with the belly mounted laser cannon and blasting it open with a few well placed shots, whooping all the way.

He charged straight inside, taking advantage of their temporary disorientation to take pot shots at the defensive emplacements as he passed, keeping to the bike's cannon for the time being. He pulled the controls back into a climb, still maintaining enough sense to not stay in the open once the enemy began to get their bearings once more, and turned to launch back over the wall and back towards the advancing line of friendly soldiers and droids.

But not before dropping a thermal detonator onto a trio of unfortunate soldiers, he couldn't be entirely sure if they were slavers or just hired guns, who had been trapped up on the bulwark just to the right of his path. He was halfway back to the treeline before it detonated.

Behold, a Swordsman of Legend
Olidiv tried not to laugh to hard as he literally bounced off of three trees before hitting the swamp water, extending his lance and following the others into this messy blitz. As he watched the gates burst open from Desmond's entrance, he hollered and followed behind, drawing a wider arc than his ally, swiping down multiple opponents with his static pike, he grinned as he decided to finally flee the scene. But before he drove off, one last shot. He hurled the electrified spear at a console, watching it burst into sparking flames.

"I think I might have broken the controls on their security guns," he said with a smirk. "Sorry about that," he said with a laugh into his commlink as he revved the engine, spun around and dove out the hole in the wall. He grinned wickedly and smirked, trying not to laugh too hard. He watched an explosion occur and dove out, but not before an enraged captain got multiple potshots at his back. He dove off of his back, flying to the tree line with the bikes while he rolled into the grass, obscuring himself.

The four she had entangled went down... rather easily. Circe assumed they weren't experienced with fighting a being that could control the very landscape around them. Her attackers had been dealt with, and as such she went to assist @[member="Josiah Denko"] against his hostiles. She did, thankfully, have backup.

If Daxton heard her, he gave no indication as he waded into the fray, his crimson saber leaving severed body parts in its wake. Hovering in orbit around the Sith Lord were another pair of sabers, one green and another blue, parrying blaster shots or striking at stragglers.

With his free hand he gestured at a hostile in a grasping motion and the man yelped in panic and fear as the ground beneath him suddenly rose up and dragged him downward into the swamp's morass, to die by drowning a mere inch beneath the surface.
