The icy wind howled louder as chaos erupted in the streets, but Valery remained focused, her fiery gaze darting between the flurry of movement. Her violet blade danced with precision, carving through the Sithspawn with lethal efficiency, but the sight of Everest and Reina both in danger sent a jolt through her core.

"Everest! Reina!" Valery's voice carried through the storm, sharp and commanding.

Her body moved on instinct. She surged forward, her blade cutting through a lunging creature that attempted to block her path. The air crackled with energy as she deflected a spray of icicles hurled in her direction. One by one, the Sithspawn fell, their icy forms crumbling under her relentless assault, but they kept coming, their numbers seemingly endless.

As Valery advanced, she saw another monstrous Sithspawn going after Everest. The sight of the young Padawan's wide, terrified eyes stirred something deep within her. The Sithspawn's jagged maw opened wide, and in that moment, Valery's fiery eyes began to glow, their golden-orange light cutting through the storm. Her hair lifted as if caught in an invisible wind, and the very air around her began to tremble with the raw power of the Force.

The temperature shifted, the biting cold replaced by an oppressive heat radiating from Valery's presence. She raised a hand, and flames erupted around her in a sudden, violent burst. The fire spread in an instant, a blazing inferno that danced with her will. The Sithspawn shrieked and recoiled, their icy forms hissing and cracking as the flames consumed them.

The fire obeyed her command, swirling and surging like a living entity. It curled around Everest and Reina without harming them, instead forming a protective barrier that drove back the encroaching darkness. Valery strode forward, her presence an unstoppable force as the flames followed her like a loyal guardian.

With a sharp motion of her hand, the fire expanded outward in a wave, sweeping through the streets and igniting every last Sithspawn in its path. Their guttural roars turned to screams of anguish as the ice melted away, leaving nothing but charred remnants in their wake.

The storm quieted, the air now filled with the faint crackle of dying flames. Valery lowered her hand, her glowing eyes dimming as she exhaled slowly. She glanced back toward Everest and Reina, her expression softening as she took in their battered forms.

"Are you both alright?" she asked, her voice steady but tinged with concern. She extended a hand to Reina first, helping her to her feet, before moving to Everest. "Stay close to me," Valery added, her fiery gaze scanning the now-quiet battlefield. "This isn't over just yet."

"I'm fine, actually. Worried about the others. Do you think they'll get this summoner soon?"

"I'm sure everyone will be home in time for supper." Aadihr lied. "I suspect a matter of hours, but we can't know for sure." He left the rest of his thoughts unsaid: if they didn't succeed in slaying the summoner in a matter of hours, they were either dead or lost track of the witch.

Either case would mean this cold could last for days. Perhaps Aadihr should locate food and water - if he could do so without drawing witchspawn attention to the sanctuary again.

Aadihr sighed. Putting on a brave face probably wasn't the best approach - the boy's worries had merit after all. Aadihr admitted to the Padawan, "I'm worried too. Confident in our strike team, but still worried."

Azzie pivoted to avoid a clawed hand shooting up from the ice, spinning into a fluid strike that severed an undead arm at the elbow. The frozen limb fell limply to the snow before shattering like brittle glass under her boot. This is wrong, all of it. Her fists clenched around her weapons as more figures emerged, the glowing light of yellow and orange from her lightsabers reflecting off lifeless, frostbitten eyes. This witch turned this whole place into a graveyard—and she’s not letting anything rest.

“Don’t let them box us in!” She shouted, her tone sharp despite the frost collecting on her face. She spun low, one blade cleaving a set of knees while the other swept horizontally, decapitating another ghoul mid-lunge. The weight of each swing was heavier than it should’ve been. Not physically, but emotionally, as she saw the faint echoes of the dead within the Force. An anguished, wordless wail that only heightened her fury.

The others were holding their ground, but Azzie could feel the storm pressing down on them, slowing their movements, chilling their very bones. She could also feel the reinforcements—the ones still beneath the ice, clawing and thrashing their way to the surface. Her foot hit a patch of ice, and she slid sideways, barely catching herself with a stab of one saber into the ground. If they didn’t act fast, they’d be overrun.

Azzie’s eyes flicked to the cracked ice beneath their feet. The undead were coming from below, as Corazona had said, their putrid fingers already splitting the thin crust of ice in several places. A determined wildfire flared through her purple gaze, an idea forming in her mind. It was a risky idea, but then again, if it worked—if she was capable of carrying it out—they would at least have a little less to worry about.

“Get clear!” She yelled to the others, her voice cutting through the chaos like the strike of a knife. She planted her feet firmly on the ice and crossed her sabers in front of her chest, the golden and orange glowing brighter as she focused. The storm seemed to rage harder, the wind clawing at her like it was alive, but she didn’t care. Her connection to the Force blazed like a furnace, the snow that hit her skin sizzling in the wind.

Then, Azzie jumped up into the air, plunging her blades straight into the ground as she came down to it with heavy force. They hissed violently as they struck, fire erupting from her hands and shooting down the hilt into the frozen surface cracks below.

The ice beneath her glowed molten yellow, the cracks spreading outward like spiderwebs. A heartbeat later, fire erupted through the fissures, golden flames bursting through the snow and racing along the ground in jagged lines. The frozen corpses closest to her were engulfed instantly, their grotesque forms writhing and disintegrating under the searing heat. She gritted her teeth while sweat beaded down her face, holding her saber firm as the fire spread further, tracing outward and spitting into the air. How long she could keep it up for, she had no idea.

The first creature lunged, an unnatural shriek erupting from its decayed throat. Thea sidestepped with fluid precision, spinning her lightsaber to sever its outstretched arm in one clean stroke, followed swiftly by a strike to its neck, taking its head.

Another zombie charged, this one faster and larger, ice-crusted bones clattering as it moved. Thea ducked low, sweeping her saber across its legs and sending it crashing into the snow. She leapt back as three more joined the fray, their clawed hands swiping wildly at her.

Thea didn't hear Azzie in time to get away from the area when she did her attack.
"Whoa," Thea breathed, wide-eyed, as she just narrowly avoided the fire. "Not that I'm questioning your methods, but, uh... you're not planning on turning all of us into crispy icicles, are you?"

"When you lie, your breathing pauses for a moment." Aris sat by the hole he'd made, his hands glowing as he started to heat up some sand. Snow melted around him as he became a sort of buffer from the cold outside. He started to mold that sand though, gathering little handfuls as the snow dissipated. Glass formed between his hands, glass he started to mold bit by bit, attaching it to the wall. He was essentially making a new wall of glass to help keep the heat in.

"Others probably can't tell. We probably shouldn't play cards." He glanced to Aadihr, giving a rather warm grin towards the man. He knew why Aadihr was lying. the others around them, the civilians caught up in this, the truth was going to put them in a panic. "Azzy's on the team, though. She's got this for sure. You gonna take her on a date when this is all over? Snow on Jakku seems oddly romantic."

Her vision was enveloped by a fierce, bright yellow-orange. Everest gasped heavily, barely able to make sense of what was happening about her as the horrific black mass above her was suddenly engulfed in flame. She could feel the intense heat blaring above her, a stark contrast to the damp cold seeping through to her back. In an instant it was over as the blinding light immediately receded back into the blue twilight that melted back around her awareness.

The features of a familiar face was then above her, and a comforting voice muffled through to her ears, and before she knew it she was being pulled up into a seating position, and then back on her feet. Her eyes started to well, and this time she knew it wasn't from the cold, but she breathed through the feeling of being overwhelmed as she got her senses.

As her vision and hearing settled back into reality, she reached for her arm that hung lifelessly at her side. Getting her breath into control, she took a sharp inhale and pulled at the limb. A heavy crunch rippled through her body as the arm set itself back into its proper place, and she gave out a small squeak that disappeared into the wind. Despite how delicate she may have seemed, this wasn't the first time she'd done something like this to herself, and she knew it wouldn't be the last. She was just grateful there were no cuts beyond her robe, but that beast had packed a hefty hit.

Eve nodded silently at Master Noble's question, incapable of speaking, as if her attempt to thank her was stuck in her throat. Plucking out the freezing lightsaber hilt she had dropped from several inches of snow, a large part of her was relieved when it activated into brilliant purple once more. She glanced to the harpooner and, again, found herself incapable of speaking thanks to her, but she nodded silently in recognition.

The temporary respite did not last long. Below them, the frozen ground seemed to shake and rumble as a roaring mass of black suddenly broke through, sending a storm of rubble, ice and tar up into the air. Through the frenzy came a beast far larger than any of ones they had wrestled with. Its fuliginous features were nigh impossible to comprehend, light itself seeming to disappear entirely within the black of its flesh. It sized up its three meals who were conveniently bunched together, and with a earth-shattering roar it lunged forward to feast. Everest raised the lightsaber once more, no longer afraid but struck with a stoic, silent focus, and she prepared to strike.

"When you lie, your breathing pauses for a moment."
Aadihr suddenly found himself holding his breath, testing and finding the boy was correct. He laughed quietly, replying "Those senses of yours will take a bit of getting used to."
A sentence Aadihr had been on the receiving side of countless times. He found it ironic to be speaking it to another.

"Others probably can't tell. We probably shouldn't play cards."
Aadihr nodded, appreciating Aris's discretion and concern for the civilian's morale. "I agree - admittedly I've never played cards. Ink and holograms aren't really, uh, 'visible' in the force for me." He replied.

Considering his blindfold was damp from the melting snow and ice, now was a good a time as any to remove it to dry. The Miraluka untied the blindfold that Azurine Varek Azurine Varek had given to him, cut from her armored synthweave cloak.

"Azzy's on the team, though. She's got this for sure. You gonna take her on a date when this is all over? Snow on Jakku seems oddly romantic."

"She'll do great, she's practically built for breaking Ice." Aadihr's tone turned somber for a moment at Aris's question. "I don't think a date would be appropriate. She and I... we've been distant for a while. Her aura shows frustration and pain when I'm around. I'm not entirely sure I did, but ever since the Fire festival - no, before then - ever since Eiattu 6 I think she's been angry with me. Or disappointed, or... Something."

Aadihr sighed, relieved at being able to at least talk about this with someone.

"So no, I don't think she'd appreciate me asking her out after this. She's talented, kind, and purpl-, uh, I mean, her aura is... Uh... Purple? What I mean to say is: I'm sure there's many other suitors more fit for her anyway, I don't want to bother her any more than necessary." Aadihr sent his sight away, searching Jedha in hopes of locating Azzie. "It's not my first rejection, there's no need for me to get clingy like a teenager with their first love."

Right, Aris was a teenager, Aadihr had almost forgotten with how reserved the boy was much of the time.

"No offense intended."

Aris sort of just, stared at Aadihr. He'd felt bad a first, over the off hand comment about playing cards. Aadihr didn't have eyes, so of course he couldn't actually play those kinds of games. But he could use a sniper rifle and nail a target some several hundreds of feet away. Yeah it still didn't make sense to the teen who couldn't feel the Force. But as Aadihr went on, a blank, almost judgmental stare formed with the Epicanthix's expression.

"You're assuming a lot of things without actually talking to her. You should.. I dunno, try talking, before just assuming?"

"You're wrong. Your survival is mine!" Colette called out and rejected Ran's 'advice' for her. "You die, I die."

The stark difference in their movements continued. Ran was speed, she embodied the idea of swift and decisive strikes on the enemy. Rather strike one time too many than strike one time too few, it made a lot of sense on some level even if Colette disagreed.

The learner continued to ground herself in the present, focused on her footwork and the lack of enemies that she could detect. She trusted the force but even she had her moments. Her saber swung with the oscillating but heavy baritone of a blade in motion only to hiss as it connected with one of the wraiths and the beast shrieked as it fell to the ground, limp, dead, taken care of.

A second wraith jumped out of the storm and sunk its teeth right into the kid's shoulder. Colette cried out in pain yet she instinctively grabbed the creature to sink her blade into it.

"I'm okay!" She called out to Ran and rolled her shoulder. "Just my shoulder."

The first thing Azurine Varek Azurine Varek heard was the unholy scream.

Kaga could feel it, and the four could sense it.

The sudden loss of control. The shock, the sense of fear.

All of a sudden, all that was between them and the witch was a towering spire.

Fire. It was always Kaga's greatest fear. She could sense in their hands a weapon she was only vaguely familiar with. From the time she came from, the je'daii had relied only on blades imbued with the same magik she could use against them. The same power, the same ability.

Yet, when she fought the je'daii last, they had a weapon. Something new. Something made of fire.

Kaga could sense it. These ones did too. The way it pushed back against the cold, her cold.

She could feel as the flame pushed back, erupted from the ground, and, if only for a moment, caused the storm to lapse.

"I'm fine! I'm fine!"

She yelled over the sound of the flames, her eyes lit up as the fire roared around them. The heat almost becoming overwhelming under all of the different layers of clothing she was wearing to stay warm...The sudden change from the chill to the heat taking her by surprise. So this is what Jedi could do with the Force...It was wonderous. The fear that had been in her chest from the beginning of this fight had actually faded, as a grin spread across her face. Her eyes both lit up from the dying embers around them now, but also from the excitement she was feeling. For the first time since leaving the ship, Reina felt alive.

Reina reached up to take Valery Noble Valery Noble 's hand to help herself up to her feet, wincing in pain for a moment as the lass put a hand to her shoulder. The creature had managed to stick its claws through her shoulder, though with a small stretch of her shoulder she was able to reassure herself that it wasn't going to stop any mobility. It just hurt like someone took a hammer to it. She'd dealt with worse though. It's why she was able to keep a smile on her face as she glanced between the two Jedi, and gave them both a thumbs up to show that she was fine...even if she might not have looked it. With a quick wipe of her hand down her jacket to dry it off, Reina picked her harpoon back up, doing a small little twirl with it.

"This is barely anything. These freaks will 'ave to do more to make me give up."

This was more like hunting Aggrocrabs than she had originally realised. The danger. The thrill. The only difference this time was that she wasn't getting any food out of fighting these monsters. Actually...No. No. It was a bad idea to try and eat these things. Even if they were very well done. Reina really needed to figure out how to do stuff like the fire that Valery had done. Though as her thoughts bounced around in her head, Reina's eyes focused on the puddles of melted ice that was surrounding them...

"So...when will we know this little problem is finished?"
Chatting. Yeah. That was a good way to try and build a rapport with people. Maybe there were better times to try and get to know strangers but...well, Reina hadn't actually talked to strangers properly for a while. Whilst she waited for an answer...or a monster to show up, Reina just gripped onto her harpoon tighter. It was her life line...and this time she wasn't going to chuck it first thing.

"You're assuming a lot of things without actually talking to her. You should.. I dunno, try talking, before just assuming?"

"I... I suppose you're right. Even if I make things worse, at least understanding and closure would be for the best."

It was the obvious solution, one that Aadihr was too close to the issue to see. Once again the Padawan had taught the master, even if it should have been common sense.

"You're definitely right. Just... something about her makes it hard to think rationally sometimes. I can't rightfully explain it."

Aadihr fidgeted, unused to speaking candidly. Aris's glassmaking was also clever. The boy impressed him at every turn.

"I'm sorry, by the way - for the way we first met on Niv Hani, after the dance. I made a poor first impression on your friends and only your response saved the situation. I was... distrusting and paranoid. I still am, sometimes. I certainly have a history of assuming too much and communicating too little."

Aadihr rose to his feet scanned the room, feeling an avoidant need to do something useful instead of confronting his emotions. " I suppose if we seal the hole, we could make a secondary entrance and exit. Perhaps a rope ladder of some sort that we can toss out of a window and retract for others without leaving us vulnerable to the spawn outside."

Outside dark outlines of the figures in the force-spectrum shambled, searching for prey. For the time being, warmth and security prevailed inside.

Rayia's singular, growled yes stuck to the back of her mind. The Felacatian's voice next rose in warning - more undead shambled in from their left.

Cora saber burned through the frozen soldiers in quick, efficient strokes. Steam rose from the bright blue of her blade as she sliced through rapidly melting ice; the zombies seemed coated in it.

When Azurine called for them to clear, she scrambled out of the way. Twin sabers pierced the frozen ground, their pressure and heat creating a jagged split that zigged and zagged along the ice. Fire - the first warmth they'd felt since disembarking - plumed from the crevice, engulfing the undead.

A hail of unholy screams pierced the frigid air as the zombies were burned alive. Even the Force seemed to ripple with panic. Still, it was as effective as it was brutal, and Azurine's efforts were not something that she would let go to waste.

Two of the undead shambled behind her, closing in from either side. As the pair reached out to grasp for her, Cora ducked beneath their grip and swept her leg along their feet. With their balance lost, the zombies pitched forward. One fell into the chasm of flames, while the other teetered on the brink. Cora sprang upward from a roll and gave him a swift boot to the back.

Then, it was over. The undead had been felled or burned, and even the harsh whipping winds seemed to die down. Azzie's pyrokinetic assault had proved enough to throw the witch off balance and inhibit her control, even if only temporarily.

"Fine work." Cora clapped a hand on the Zabrak's shoulder, feeling the residual heat beneath her fingertips even through layers of clothes. She looked from Azurine, to Rayia and Thea. "Is everyone alright? We should make for the tower before she recovers."

Their journey to the spire, short though it was, remained eerily unhindered. Crisp air mingled with the stench of burned flesh. Upon passing through the fortress entrance, the four Jedi would be greeted by the grisly sight of more bodies - both animal and humanoid - still and frozen within the icy walls.

Cora pressed a gloved hand to the ice, her palm resting over the heart of a Bith frozen in time. Closing her eyes, she extended her senses outward, but it didn't take much to pinpoint the witch. Her presence was not concealed, rather, it was a disturbing beacon in the force.

"She is watching us," the knight murmured, her head craning back towards the ceiling.

"You shouldn't just assume you'll make things worse either. Just be honest and talk, it's not that difficult." To him, at least. Aris had learned the mindset of just going all in without hesitation from Ko Vuto Ko Vuto , and had sort of applied to to, well, everything. For better or worse. He looked back to the wall he was slowly forming bit by bit, shaping and thickening the glass to ensure it wouldn't just break or cool too fast and become brittle. Tempering glass in an unnatural ice storm.

It was certainly pushing his ability to feel temperature to it's limits.

"I don't know your situation, but you also don't know hers. It's easy to assume, but until you actually ask, you shouldn't treat it like fact, right? I can unfreeze the door, though. And we can use it. Barricade and reinforce. It'd be safer than trying to have people climb. They don't climb as fast as we do."

Valery gave Everest a reassuring nod as the young Padawan silently set her arm back into place. Her fiery eyes lingered for a moment, gauging her resolve and the way she managed to steady herself despite the overwhelming situation. She was proud of her, and even though Everest's gratitude remained unspoken, Valery could feel it in the Force.

Turning to Reina, Valery couldn't help but smirk faintly at the woman's bold demeanor. Her grin and the twirl of her harpoon were enough to confirm that Reina's spirit was as fierce as ever, despite the wounds she'd sustained.

"You're both holding up well," Valery said, her voice carrying calm authority. "But we're not done yet." She glanced at Reina, her smirk fading into a more serious expression. "These Sithspawn won't stop until the source of their corruption is destroyed. Until then, we can expect more waves."

As if on cue, the ground trembled beneath their feet, a deep, guttural rumble reverberating through the icy terrain. Valery's fiery eyes snapped to the horizon, where the darkness began to shift and churn once more. From the broken earth, more abominations emerged, their twisted forms dripping with shadow and malice.

"Here they come," Valery muttered, igniting her violet blade with a snap-hiss that echoed in the chilled air. She planted her feet firmly and extended her other hand, her presence in the Force radiating outward like a protective shield around her companions. "Stay close to me, and don't let them separate us."

She spared a glance at Everest, her tone softening slightly. "You've got this, Everest. Trust in your training." Then, to Reina, her voice sharpened, carrying the weight of command. "Use that harpoon to cover our flanks. If they get too close, strike hard and fast."

The Sithspawn closed in, their guttural roars echoing across the frozen battlefield. Valery's fiery gaze burned with determination as she took a step forward, her blade raised. "Let's finish this." With a swift motion, she charged into the fray.

Master Noble's words of assurance echoed through her and she suddenly found a surge of strength swelling within her. She gave a firm nod to her to let her know she would be okay. Brandishing the lightsaber firmly in her hand, she prepared herself for the oncoming storm. Keeping herself close to the Grandmaster as she had firmly requested, she watched as the hulking mass of ice and tar spilled across the snow towards them at haste. Eve took in a deep breath, forcing herself to remain calm and focused, and charged forward behind the Master. A guttural, adrenaline-fuelled shout escaped from her.

There is no emotion, there is peace.

The words of the Jedi Code rang in her ears as she followed Master Noble's lead, offering a deep stillness amidst the chaos. The first beast lunged at them, its maw of serrated, oozing teeth primed for its meal. Eve did not think, she did not feel, she merely acted. The blade, held above her head, struck down with fierce resolve, cutting hard through the beast's face. It screeched in pain, scrambling to make sense of what had happened. Eve remained stoic, her focus intensely retained, as the Code repeated again and again through her mind.

There is no ignorance, there is knowledge.

Another strike. With all the power she could physically muster, she brought the brilliant purple blade upwards into the creature's neck.

There is no passion, there is serenity.

Another beast came from their left flank, and Eve's eyes flicked to the harpooner. She was handling herself well, and Eve admired how strongly resolute she was. She would have allowed curiosity to linger on her a while, but the moment had engulfed her.

There is no chaos, there is harmony.

Despite the noise, the bitter cold, the brutality of the moment, Eve was still breathing slowly. She thrust the blade forward into the creature, face turning to avoid further tar from spilling onto her face.

There is no death, there is the Force.

It felt as though the world slowed to a halt as her mind was engulfed with the image of light. Her brow furrowed, her lower lip bitten, and her silver eyes aflame with intense focus and resolve, Everest struck again, and again, her motions gliding effortlessly like the very wind itself.

If only it were so easy. Why shouldn't it be that easy? "You're right, of course. I'm avoiding the issue, but I can't seem to stop just by deciding to. Just as logic isnt driven by emotion, emotions aren't driven by logic either. I still have much learning to do myself."

Aadihr nodded his support of Aris's idea of unfreezing the door, though he was worried how exhausting the process would be - Aris had already almost single handedly carried every survivor here, broke and begun repairing the wall, and started the fire. The boy was indefatigably resilient it seemed. Something about that saddened Aadihr. It was the same feeling he got up on learning of the militaristic training Epicanthix youths went through. Was Aris able to endure so much just because he was astonishingly resilient, or was he resilient because he's already had to endure so much?

I'm just overthinking.

Still, Aadihr kept his Sight on Aris's aura, trying to read the boy. The storm outside howled. The shuffling ice-and-cadaver beings just one stray noise away from detecting the survivors.

Source of the corruption? What in the Spirit's name was that? Maybe Reina should have figured out what this entire thing was before she had headed out to try and be a hero. It was too late for her now. She had to stay focused on the task at hand. Helping Everest Vale Everest Vale and Valery Noble Valery Noble deal with the creatures.

The difference between Reina and Everest was almost ironic in a way. There was plenty of ignorance for Reina. She was ignorant of what these creatures were. How they were made. What was actually happening, but that wasn't stopping her from fighting as she jabbed out with the Harpoon before yanking it back. There was plenty of passion in Reina as she fought. Serenity was lost on her. A fight was like a wild storm, with waves crashing from every side. With that came plenty of chaos. There was no time for peace in times like this. The only part of the code that Reina would have agreed with was that there was no death. She was not dead. Not yet at least.

Her eyes darted to Everest for a moment, narrowing in on the black tar that was leaking out of one of the creatures. Liquid. Like the puddles of water that was starting to freeze over slowly but surely. Rippling moving through the puddles at the movement and vibrations. It was like a series of fireworks were going off in Reina's mind as she was coming to a realisation.

Have the Spirit lend me it's power...Don't take it...

Reina's hand reached out towards the puddles. Water filled the container it was in. Took the shape of it's container. As she focused, it felt like Reina was pushing some kind of muscle she didn't know she had. Straining it as the water shifted in an unnatural way. Sloshing back and forth before the lass brought her hand up. With that, various spikes made of water erupted from the puddles, impaling some of the Sithspawn and holding them in place for a few vital seconds.

Though with the sweat building on Reina's brow and the colour slowly draining from her face, she released the water. That was a neat trick...Even if she couldn't do it again. That one act with the Force had taken more energy out of her than the entire fight had so far. But she wasn't going to quit. No. She was going to get straight back into it with her harpoon.

Valery looked between Everest and Reina as they fought, her pride in both of them growing with each passing moment. Everest's focus and precision stood out, her strikes cutting down the Sithspawn with practiced efficiency, while Reina's unrelenting spirit and raw determination were impossible to miss. But when the Reina suddenly reached out, drawing on the Force to manipulate the puddles of water into deadly spikes, Valery began to smirk.

"Impressive," Valery called out, her voice cutting through the chaos as Reina's water spikes skewered several Sithspawn. She could see the exhaustion beginning to take its toll on the young warrior, but Reina wasn't giving up. She was right back in the fight, her harpoon slicing through the air with fierce resolve.

But the Sithspawn were unrelenting.

As more of the twisted creatures emerged from the shadows, their guttural roars echoing across the frozen battlefield, Valery knew it was time to escalate. She glanced at Everest, who was holding her ground with steady precision, then at Reina, whose sheer will was keeping her in the fight despite her drained energy.

"Hold your ground!" Valery commanded, her voice sharp and unwavering.

She sprang forward, her violet blade carving a deadly path through the nearest Sithspawn. Then, with a sudden burst of speed, she leaped high into the air, her figure silhouetted against the flickering light of the runes and the chaos below. As she reached the apex of her jump, she reached deep into the Force, channeling it through her entire being.

When she came crashing down, her blade struck the ground with a thunderous impact. A wave of pure Force energy exploded outward in all directions, surging across the battlefield like an unstoppable tide. The energy harmlessly passed through Everest and Reina, its warm, protective presence brushing against them like a gentle breeze. But for the Sithspawn, the wave was anything but gentle.

The creatures shrieked as the Force tore into them, their twisted forms crumbling under the sheer power of the blast. The ground trembled beneath the weight of the energy, and the air was filled with the deafening roar of destruction.

When the wave subsided, Valery straightened, her fiery gaze scanning the battlefield. The Sithspawn that remained were few and scattered, their once-overwhelming numbers now reduced to stragglers.
