Anyway, hi everyone, i'm the new guy. Really looking forward to RP'ing with you all, the lore and world built around this concept is really amazing, and everyone i've spoken to so far has been really cool, so this'll be great!

On a serious note, i'm all about community, so i'm happy to help out with any "We need faction people" projects, etc, and uh....

I was about to comment on the irony of a pyrophobe joining the Fire Order! But there's no need to worry. The Order of Fire only has two pyromancers ([member="Elpsis Elaris"] and [member="Sahal Jai Azal"])!

This is basically a social thread set post-Omega event, where Firemane helped stop Sith from using a superweapon to blow the Galaxy up. Gonna be celebrating victory in it, so it's a good way to meet people.

There's several posts in both threads, but I think you could jump in if you like. You'd certainly be very welcome.


In the Omega thread, all the folks involved in the big battle just arrived at the space station in Tygara's orbit. So it's been reunions and Siobhan speechified a bit. I imagine there'll be celebrations.


In the other thread, the Eldorai just arrived at the city of one of the Qadiri kingdoms they're visiting, the Multani. The folks there want them to help attack a rival city...which the Eldorai are sceptical about.


We'll be splitting up the group and giving people different tasks. Some will stay with the scheming Multani, others visit their rivals. So if you wanna say Drystan came along with the Eldorai delegation as a Fire Order guard, that's cool (Sahal is Fire Order, too).

And now it's time for this week's episode of 20 questions!

So, Drystan is quickly becoming my main character because....I don't like the others i've made thus far.

This leads to pondering and questions galore, so rather than nag any one person (Sio has to be getting tired of her inbox flashing because of me by now) I'll just...put them all here...so....yeah...

What's the scope for individual involvement in the greater galaxy? Are there any restrictions on Firemane folks traveling at will, or are the Eldorai still very isolationist?

Who would we talk to about Firemane tech, specifically the possibility of creating new armor(s), etc?

Is the attack on sight policy for Sith really attack on sight? Or more....attack if socially acceptable?

Does Firemane/The Eldorai as a whole have any diplomatic alliances with anyone in the greater galaxy, the sort that would give its people a reason to be involved in (insert thread(s) here)?

Other than actual Sith, are there any people that Firemane/The Eldorai actively dislike?

Is there anything that I as a newbie player can do to help out? Writing up info, etc?

And finally...what is the answer to life, the universe, and everything?

Attack on sight. No exceptions. Probably they are there to cause trouble anyway, can't trust a Sith!

Tygara has diplomatic relations going on with Galactic Alliance and the Mandalorians. Inside, the Angelii is in a diplomatic meeting with the Qadiri right now, but you already know it. So you can jump in to help them if the cause is for the good.

War criminals, slavers etc. The ones who do evil for evil's sake. Also Jedi and Tygara's relationship has worsened because we don't like their ineffectiviteness about fighting the bad guys.

To expand on what [member="Nima Tann"] said, there are no real restrictions for Firemane people as far as travel across the Galaxy is concerned.


It's a megacorporation with outposts on many planets, such as in SJO, Mandalorian and Galactic Alliance space. The Eldorai are still quite insular, but they've become less isolationist since the Exodus.


[member="Valiens Nantaris"] is a good writer to talk to re tech (writes Tegaea, Tempest etc.). [member="HK-36"] is a good option, too.


Re Sith, they're regarded as enemies due to being, well, evil! Those who come to Tygara are to be treated as hostiles and shot, no matter what they say.


If you're alone on a planet far away, have Padawan skills and only a blaster pistol and run into a Sith Lord, you will obviously not to be expected to death charge him/her since that would be ill-advised. But we don't make nice with them. Their words are not to be trusted.


We have close relations with the Mandalorian Clans and the Galactic Alliance. This is more on the Firemane side, but we do business with both powers. Siobhan has no clan, but is sort of a Mandalorian and Firemane troops helped them in the Omega event.


So joining Mando/GA dominions etc. to help them is encouraged. I believe they have some at the moment (I dropped Elpsis in a Mando dom here: http://starwarsrp.net/topic/96130-a-royal-affair-mandalorian-clans-dominion-of-gala-hex/page-5)

That sums it up. We also strongly dislike the First Order for being fascists and imperialists. They're obviously very far away from us, so that's more ideological than active opposition so far. Firemane doesn't do business with them.


Just to clarify: Unlike with Sith, we don't hate Jedi per se. But we dislike militants who try to force their code down our throats, and ineffectual peaceniks who lack the resolution to fight the bad guys. We can work with reasonable Jedi who follow the law and fight evil.


Our relations with the Order of Silver Jedi are strained at the moment, but we're not enemies. We more, like, politely ignore one another.

But yeah, me, Sio, and Tegs made our fortunes off of hunting down and warring against Sith, cultists, pirates, and pretty much anyone else warring in the Outer Rim, so those elements are still very much present
