Public So when Andor S2 kickstarts rebel shenanigan RP, what factions-?

I know for darn sure I wasn't the only one fired up about writing resistance-y Star Wars when season one dropped. I'm guessing in a month and a half that mood is going to be everywhere. ITS PACE WILL OUTSTRIP OUR ABILITY TO UNDERSTAND.

Are there any factions, current or intended, with plans to meet that demand? Dark empires aiming to set up in-house opposition, republics looking for a radical flank effect, standalone minors, or some combination thereof?

I thought they were, like, UNICEF
"This is a rebellion movement.

The Coalition's primary objective is to create a stable, decentralized galactic order built on shared governance, local autonomy, and mutual aid. This decentralized style of government empowers individual systems to self-govern with a loose framework of shared values, introducing policies to address wealth inequality, trade fairness, and the promotion of resource-sharing."

Edit:
Also this, from here.

4. Justified Insurgency: A Necessary Rebellion
The Foundation is not a military dictatorship, nor is it an aimless rebellion. We are a structured coalition with a clear political and moral vision—the establishment of a decentralized galactic order based on mutual aid, shared governance, and local autonomy.

In pursuit of this vision, we engage in justified insurgency, meaning:

  • We fight oppressive regimes, not innocent civilians. Civilian populations must be protected at all costs, even if it limits military effectiveness.
  • We engage in sabotage, infiltration, and precision strikes, rather than indiscriminate destruction.
  • We disrupt supply lines, steal from corrupt bureaucracies, and expose systemic injustices.
We recognize that war is an ugly necessity, but we will not become what we seek to overthrow.

Key Rule: Every battle must be fought with the future in mind. A rebellion that abandons its principles today will not create a just society tomorrow. For Tomorrow's Victory.
