Solo force user

I apologize in advance if this has been discussed to death or what not.

How exactly does a non faction based force user go about ranking up ( and learning new things)? I understand there are faction-less masters but I wanted to know exactly what one would need to do in order to advance ranks without a master. I also understand that the rules can add in a judge should the need arise but I read that as more of a convenience kind of thing for those using masters.

My ideal goal is to create a force user who is mostly if not entirely self taught.

You could study on korriban, and when you think you done enough to advance to knight contact an rpj and see what they think. Though I am not 100% sure on that, also korriban is set to be taken over by SSC. So you could help them do a dom on the planet if they don`t mind [member="Thurion Heavenshield"].

Here's how it works.

Step 1. You thread. You adventure. You keep track of your threads on your Character Profile. (We call this "proof".)
Step 2. Sans faction, you PM a Roleplay Judge and ask them to promote you to Knight. You show them your threads and your post count.
Step 3. They promote you. You request a new Rank Title in the Rank Title thread. You are now a Knight.
