Nate dipped his head in reply. Though was a bit unsure why his question was left unanswered. As he simply stood and glanced to the cup. Then to the lady that came to collect it. Then glanced off towards [member="Matsu Ike"] and tagged along with her. Deciding his question will probably get answered one way or another. So he didn't let himself get upset over the matter. Nate took the moment once outside to view his surrounding planet. Though only paid enough attention to admire it, though not enough to fall distantly behind the Jedi master who he was being escorted by. Nate figured it'd leave a bad impression if he got lost so quickly. Even if everything about this place was a new site to him.

Nate watched as she guided him to a network of tunnels. Then looked about and observed the men and women dressed in a uniquely colored set of robes. Nate didn't know much about the Jedi of the silver order. Though Nate figured in time he would also come to an understanding of them. As he looked to Matsu Ike. "What's the major differences of The Jedi of the silver order, and the Jedi of the republic? If there is any major differences other then the names of the order?" Nate asked Master Matsu in a quiet tone as he caught up with her. "Pardon my lack of knowledge in customs there. As I said I was raised up on a different set of principles and ideals, and so this is all new to me."

The difference between the orders? That was sort of hard to really describe as there wasn't many of them. Some small things generally and she knew both orders didn't follow the traditional style of the older ones. The silver jedi had also for the most part outside of the Asobi system adopted the Sanctums disposition of allowing the darksiders to roam around and influence them or adopting mandalorian culture... two things that as jedi they shouldn't do. It wasn't their place to try and bridge or join the mandalorians and it wasn't their place to side with darksiders when they were jedi. She preferred jedi being jedi and studying instead but what coulld you do as the large tunnels were filled with carved stone as well as other jedi working on things. Rooms filled with crystal processing and construction of equipment. "There are not many differences between them, the Silver jedi have some history of experimentation and seeking to understand the force more, they prefer to be on the outer rim instead of the core... and here on Shri-Tal they are able to move throughout the asobi system and provide help to billions while returning to an area bathed in the force."

Nate kept his focus on Matsu Ike. As he processed the information. Well the little information which she offered. Instead of getting lost in the workings of the tunnels, equipment, or other individuals. Nate relied on his subconscious to use the force to map out things for him. The additional perks of reading an area with the force, instead of with your eyes. Meant in the occurrence that something should hinder your physical senses, you could turn to your force senses and practically know the lay of the land, as if though trying to read the back of your hand.

Nate decided that he'd enjoy the Silver order of Jedi. Seeming that they were a research based form of the Jedi. Which meant tolerances probably existed for the sake of knowledge. Nate knew he'd still have to tread lightly regarding his use of the dark side in defense of himself or others. Though he wasn't so concerned of a simple slip resulting in his head being lobbed off. Just as long as he could both, control how often the slips occurred, and avoid collateral damage. It would also help if Nate could formulate reasonable explanations that could tie his application of dark side abilities, with the quest for understanding the force, and all of it's ways.

"What are some of the most common, and the most valuable crystals that are present amongst this system, Master Matsu Ike?" Nate asked as he reached out with the force and stopped one of the miners from dropping a piece of their equipment. With a little aid of intuition in his application. As he withdrew and went back to keeping up with the Jedi master. Nate was also wary of Master Matsu Ike as he had yet to formulate a complete opinion of where she stood on matters.

Matsu stayed there and was looking at some of the things, they were working on parts of it all before she noticed the hydrocutters were cleaning some of the larger crystal formations from the things. "The most common are adagen crystals or at least that is their name in their system.. but it is the most common name people give them. They range from all types, barely force sensitive to some of the most force sensitive you'll be able to find. We've experimented and worked with many of the common ones for making sabers and hilts. The really rare formations are usually at the heart of veins in the walls and radiate force energy to the lesser one. We collect and save those for when we need them to use instead of use using them. The workers here are some of the best when it comes to harvesting and shaping crystals and thanks to an old friend we do have some information on how we can use them for some special purposes."

Nate looked about and nodded his head. It made sense to store the rare crystals for later usage. Nate figured that also meant that the storage location was known by a limited amount of individuals and/or heavily guarded. As anywhere that large stashes of rare crystals may be found. One could assume both smuggler powers, and military powers would have an interest in acquiring. Nate contemplated the possibility of harvesting some crystals for personal usage. If of course he had permission from some of the higher powers in charge of the mines. As he had no interest in stealing from them. Why make an enemy out of someone you're trying to learn under? Besides, Nate had future arrangements already to acquire some crystals and materials. Well at least half of an arrangement.

Nate looked to Master Matsu Ike and then towards the hydrocutters. Keeping quiet as though obviously Nate didn't fear asking questions. Nate also didn't want to ask too many of them in a single moment. Instead leaning towards making observations for the current moment as a manner of gathering information.

They kept going, the mines and tunnels stretched on for well the entire planet, some going under the ocean and leading to temples that were created under the water or near the highpoints of the mountains. It was all rather interesting but also for those who didn't know the way confusing. Which was why they usually mapped and really inhabited a small number that were fortified from others breaking into them. The jedi that were loading the crystals showed a lot of the stuff they were working on, more of the amulets as well as some going to the spindles and looms. Any other ores they found were being worked on and collected for processing to make other weaves as needed. "We've worked some of the other things into a nice collection of things. Depending on what is needed for some of the padawans."

Nate looked to [member="Matsu Ike"] as she mentioned things that were stored for the usage of padawans. Which caused Nate to nod his head in understanding. Nate figured it'd leave things in a bad way if the jedi only supplied their knights and masters, and left their pupils to fend for their own resources. Of course it might not be a horrible learning experience, forage to survive would certainly hold a motivational edge. Though it would also greatly reduce the amount of individuals that would become jedi, as Nate knew some of the trials padawans went through had to be challenging enough.

Nate looked back to the workings around him. As he occasionally extended what he could of the force towards charting out his surroundings. As Nate didn't want to have to solely rely on Master Matsu Ike to navigate through the tunnels. A few times would be understandable with as complex as they were. Though Nate wasn't one to try and use a crutch to get through life. The sooner he learned things, within the boundaries of patience. The better off Nate felt he would be in the long run. As Nate new that there was much in his journey he was sure he was bond to accomplish.

The tunnels and complex was still stretching and there were transports to take people, large enough for a bunch of padawans or some of the ranger's that were working on things to go around. She was looking at him. "There is not much else here, we have been working on parts but until most officially join the order. There are some things that can be used by anyone but a number of things have been getting a new synthweave so only jedi who use the lightside will be able to use them. It is a new way to ensure things can be protected and not used against the other jedi. There is also the database for biometrics we have with the small computers." She entered one of the rooms they were setting up the utility belts and packs.

Nate saw a mild flaw in his use for those technologies. As Nate both used the lightsider and the dark side. Though he was generally neutral. Which Nate figured could probably be helped with his training among the Jedi order. As Nate finally furrowed his brows. "Master [member="Matsu Ike"] is there a moment I can discuss some things with you. Which should probably be a conversation between the two of us at first." Nate asked as he hoped he was making the right decision in seeking guidance from her. Well worst case scenario Nate was pretty sure if Matsu Ike saw him as to much of a threat. He could assume his death would at least be Swift. Despite he'd prefer surviving and he felt that to help stay alive. It was best that Nate talked about his concerns, instead of let the Jedi Master discover his dillema while he was in action.

Oh, what did he want to discuss? Looking at him while she stood there for a moment with a nod of her head. "Very well." Offering a look over for a moment while going to a small office off to the side she could operate from and taking a seat behind the large stone desk while she shooed out the droids. The crates of crystals they were moving around there with some reports for what they had been finding were stacked on the datapads. Matsu sat down in the seat placing her hands on the arms of the chair while she looked up at him ready for anything he might be able to say. "Alright what is it you would like to discuss?" Letting a few moments pass before she gently touched the arms of the chair.

Nate thought a moment how to word it. "My parents as I told you, had taught me a unique set of principals" Nate said to her in a calm tone. "Well some of their teachings were working with the lightside of the force, while others had me utilize the dark side of the force." Nate explained to Master [member="Matsu Ike"]. "I never truly let either side fully dictate how I lived up until I decided to take guidance under your order. However I wanted to be honest, instead of letting it be discovered while in action" Nate explained as he shifted uneasily. Looking around the office and wandering how the Jedi Master would respond to this. As he looked to her and then glanced down and shifted his footing every once in awhile to indicate his mild unease.

She was listening to him and remained still in the seat with her face expressionless as her senses expanded out to listen for anything from him. "I see." She finally spoke while looking over a couple of things with him. "Neutrality is a difficult road to walk and the darkside will corrupt with use. The more you touch it, the more you feel its pull the more it will slowly begin to dominate your being." She looked over a couple of the things with attention as she had seen plenty of padawans that were going about things like this though she had seen them believe themselves special and the one who could be a jedi using the darkside without corruption. There were even some masters that sought to do that as well and it was foolish in many ways. "The lure of the darkside is difficult to resist padawan, you should be careful."

Nate nodded his head and thought some. It made sense to him, it had a certain rush that came with using it. The power you had at command when you tapped into it. Anger lead to more anger, and that anger would eventually turn to hatred. Hatred demanded vengeance and vengeance required power. Nate was aware of this undergoing cycle. Which meant that Nate really should be careful on how he treads along the dark side. Compassion is a similarly flawed course of action, in addition to fear.

Nate looked to Master [member="Matsu Ike"] and took a breath. To try and focus his mind and calm himself. Nate figured with the teachings he might learn under her. Nate could begin by repaying it, with avoiding testing the boundaries of how much darkness he could use, before the darkness began to use him. "I'll do my best to avoid using the dark side. Especially while I undergo teachings among the order." Nate said to the Jedi master. As he watched her curiously as she looked over some things.

Well that was really all she could ask for. There was a lot going on as her attention went to more and more of the reports. "That will have to do, the Srefer allowing anyone not sith but that can be dangerous as it can influence the untrained." She wasn't going to preach more then that, he was going to be careful and that was something she could work with going forward on some of the things. She was giving the confirmation needed to the reports so they could work on things and harvest more of the larger force crystals to be spun into the solari they were recovering from Rhen var so the jedi could have a more advanced crystal weave to spin into their robes and equipment. "Right now though what would you like to learn from the order padawan?"
