Space Station questions

I just noticed that theoretically one can have a bigger flagship, than one can have a space station. Have the space station size restrictions been increased to allow for the increase is ship size, and just not been updated in the templates?

Current ship size cap: 5,000 meters

Current space station size cap: 4,000 meters

Also, can someone tell me what the cap is for weapons on a space station? Our current info caps out at vessels 2,000 meters in length. Would I simply double that figure for a space station more than 2 times the size of that ship?

The only way to get ships between 2-5000 metres is to do a 400 post flagship thread...which no one has even attempted yet.

Since 4,000 metres is a monumental station, no one's tried to make one bigger yet.

I'll check with [member="Spencer Jacobs"] about whether dev threads can increase the size of stations.

Minor amendment. You can have a 3000m ship without a flagship thread. Stats to get you started for those are in the guide 2.0 and you need a solid 30 post dev thread with 3 people.
