Mother of the Rebellion

The sky over Tython roils with blackened clouds, streaked by arcs of crimson lightning; the corruption had persisted for so long, swaying towards one side for so long. In a place like this, one that required balanced, the physical world was bound to be affected. Below, the temple of Akar Kesh loomed like a wound upon the land, its foundation cracked and veined. A spectral mist clings to the ruins, whispering with voices long forgotten, but the sounds were twisted.
From above, two battered Foundation transports punch through the turbulent winds, their thrusters flaring as they struggled to make a controlled descent onto a rocky outcrop just beyond the temple ground -- there was fighting happening, growing in intensity. The landing struts groaned as they met the corrupted soil, the ships settling into place amidst the howling wind.
With a hiss of depressurization, the transport doors slide open. Cloaked figures move swiftly down the ramps, their boots crunching against ancient stone. Askani emerged, her deep robes billowing in the turbulent winds, her face shadowed beneath her hood.
She strode forward and turned to face the others, she worked to cut through the howling winds like a blade; raising her voice as much as she could to be audible.
She raises a hand, and from within her cloak, she produces a crystal--a sliver of shimmering blue, pulsing faintly with Force energy.
"I handed each of you a crystal to carry, they're attuned to the Force; powerfully charged crystals. When used together, they act almost like a-a power grid of sorts. Once placed, oriented, and activated, they will resonate and create a barrier of energy around this place. There's five of us so this should work." She looked over her shoulder, and then back "It will seal whatever lurks inside the temple. Nothing escapes. If all else fails, we can at least contain the nexus and then some."
She lets that last word hang in the air. A cautionary tale, unspoken yet understood.
Sudden fluctuations in the Force here could trigger something disastrous, Force storms and the like...caution was always preferred, and should be exercised.
She held up her Kimoyo bracelet, held her free fist over it before release her fingers -- with a holoprojection jumping to life. There were glowing dots, five points around the perimeter of the temple, all designated as crystal drop points.
"We split up, let the fighting be drawn elsewhere, move with caution, place the crystals at the designated points along the perimeter, then the four of us will regroup, and head for the inner sanctum." She looked towards the more senior Jedi, Her gaze lingering briefly-- two of them including her had been here before, ones who may know more than they let on. She does not acknowledge it. Not yet.
Then she settled on the Aron, "I don't want you inside, you're safer out here, along the perimeter. That's why you'll place the fifth and last crystal; which is albeit the most important. You'll have the furthest point to reach, but it should take you away from most of the heavy fighting. The rest of us should have ours placed by then. I will signal you on the comm when its time to place yours, we should be inside by then. Yours will complete the power grid."
"Once the barrier is formed, we begin the purification. The Dark Side will resist us, and the Empire's forces will not sit idly by. Be prepared."
She rolled up her sleeve, "Lets monitor progress on our chronometers. Synchronize on my mark. 3…2…1…mark."
Another rumble shakes the ground beneath them. The temple breathes—or at least, something within it does. It startled her, drawing her attention again.
Softly, "If there's no questions. Move. Keep each other updated."
The storm overhead thickens, a crimson bolt striking the distant temple spire. In the depths of the ruin, something stirs in answer to their arrival.
The mission has begun.
