Description:
The Alliance Naval Vessel Spear of the Alliance is a new ship created by SoroSuub corporation on order of Nemo Ven. The vessel, set up for strike and assault work, was granted to Commander Coren Starchaser to become his personal flagship within the GADF. The Spear of the Alliance was designed around its commander’s aggressive style, and focuses on heavy turbolasers and heavy warhead launchers. Depending on other vessels in the battlegroup to launch fighters, the Spear focuses on a pair of space-wings in the first two hangars, with the third hangar being used to house light freighters, shuttles, and other personnel carrying vessels.
Spear of the Alliance’s primary design was to contain a low-profile visually, and have the systems available to gain on anything it can fight. The downfall of this ability is that once its shields are broken through the hull is weaker than other ships of similar size and purpose. The way this ship is designed is to not get into a fire-fight for long, or without an attack plan.
A revolving door of fighter squadrons and other vessels make the Spear a port of harbor on their shakedown cruises. The Battlegroup at large is designed to keep moving, and provides a jump off point for many teams that are working their way deeper into unfriendly space.
