St. Patrick never drove out the snakes from Ireland...my beloved homeland has never had snakes ever....but the casting out of serpents by St. Patrick is a metaphor that he casted out the "serpent" which was at the time of symbol of the Druids.
the whole corned beef and cabbage is an american tradition...however, I have been known to dip into some corned beef myself....and I LOVE cabbage in all forms!!!!
i don't know....not a fan of N.D.....as for St. Paddy and Brigid...I'm not sure if that true, never heard that myself....and no offense to any catholics here...but Brigid was a pagan Goddess of the Celtic patheon.....and the story behind St. Brigid is supsect at best...as a pagan....I do not recongize St. Brigid.
