Stanforth's voice roused the man's thoughts from his half-composed letter and back to the present. He quickly saved and closed the note before reholstering the tiny datapad. Glancing at his chrono, Lieutenant Quee quickly paced back into the command post where the senator and army captain awaited him. As he entered, he glanced at both them, seeing if there were any signs that might reveal what had happened during his absence. Aside from a general tenseness, he could not discern any, which he took as a good sign. Gir cleared his throat.
"Have you made a decision, Senator? About the missile test?"
