Star Wars Characters can't have real life issues?

[member="Celiana"] This is a tad related and a tad unrelated to the topic, but I am willing to RP wiith you on either of my characters any time. I am not as bothered by darker stories because it is your character and I should not impose my own personal views onto your character. Much like in real life, I feel dealing with these issues who did not expect coming is good for development. It makes you have to really think about how your character would reach, especially when you might not even know how you would react to it yourself. That is just my personal belief though and others might not want to be put on the spot like that. So can't say for others, but I am personally fine with RPing with you any time on any of my characters.

Well the thing is I straight up read the rules and with the knowledge that portraying any of those things ie. Rape, pedophilia. or whatever else I was using the description of feelings after the fact of said event. Keep in mind of course it's never happened to me. But I was exploring those things for use in another story I'm writing that had nothing to do with Chaos. So I felt punished as a writer. Never depicted or portrayed the act itself only beginning to explore the emotional aftermath. Which I figured didn't break any rules. Point being there's plenty of crap in the news with the UCLA swimmer (not a euphemism) #Brocktherapist and yet we as writers SEEM TO BE. Not are but seem to be punished for even touching controversial topics even if it's as an experiment for another story we're writing OUTSIDE OF CHAOS. Last I checked a writer was a writer even if they're not part of Chaos.

Rant over. Continue discussing amongst yourselves.

Cheers Mates!

Again I'm fine with the rating. I wasn't planning on portraying anything visual only the emotional aftermath of said FICTIONAL event. What I am not fine with is being punished as a writer for trying to abide by said rules and being told indirectly the way you write and you exploring the emotional mindset of someone following a traumatic event even if it is indeed FICTIONAL is not OK. I followed the rules and I got boned as a writer. THAT was and is still my only issue.

But I've nothing against the rules. They make sense in the same way you shouldn't be taking your kid to go see the new Deadpool movie. Common sense.
