Star Wars: Dooku & Palpatine Talk Before Anakin & Obi-Wan Rescue Palpatine

This is my fav from Skywalker Stories

Yeah it's a good tribute to the character and the actors involved. Deepens his internal conflicts.

Amea Virou Amea Virou

I understand that, but its not much different to writing fan fiction. The continuation of any medium draws on the actors or artists that came before. We both use avatars of known faces, or claims, myself to draw on that muse when I write.

I agree, fan fiction keeps Star Wars grown my and expanding. I know it's not for everyone, but it's definitely for me.

I don't personally use known faces or claims in my avatar, for me it's can't shaking the actor or actress rl persona or movie. However, I draw on authors and writers for inspiration.

For example, this character when I write her is SO deeply inspired by one of my favorite writers: H.P. Lovecraft. She is written with such gothic horror.

I wonder what will constitute "getting there" in terms of realism. I don't think this stuff will ever be fully convincing, especially as people are learning what to look for when spotting fakes. And there is, y'know, the ethics of using a dead person's likeness.

At least it looks like they actually wrote the script themselves, rather than letting even the text be AI generated.

Don't overthink it. It's creative, less you hate creativity, and who uses AI generated text?

Do you, when writing a post?

Just enjoy and applaud someone else's creative mind......and if you hate using dead people's likeness.... you probably hated Rogue One then.
