Darth Abyss
Eldritch
No footprints marked the path of the husk. The wind had already carried them away.
Abyss could feel it, the thrill of the hunt. Not just within himself, but all around him. The desert was littered with those that had answered his call, hiding in the distance while they all marked their prey. Soon the sand would be painted in a brilliant red, until the wind would carry it away like footprints.
For now they waited, they observed. The hunting party was still heading towards their own prey, unaware that the dragon would not be the one that would find its end today. When [member="Muad Dib"] made the mistake of his heresy, little had he known what would come for him. Not the bounty hunters, not the allies of the Mindeater, but the deranged entity himself, hungering to devour everything he was until only a shell would be left, more empty than himself.
Even now, from so far away, the mental tendrils of the Prophet reached through the air, reaching for the mind of the beast they had set out to hunt. Men could not resist the might of the Mindeater, and neither would the dragon once Abyss eyes would fall upon it. Like those that stood within for loyalty, or for more credits than most insects would see in their entire live, it would be commanded to kill, not out of deadly instincts but because it had no no other choice left.
Silently the husk followed the moving party, still waiting. The moment of his revenge was coming closer with every taken step.
