Me like the general idea!
I personally very much like the idea of the Republic jedi to act as escorts and guards for the senators. But with the recent change in laws many senators are force sensatives themselves so maybe the need has diminished somewhat.

We dont have buddy code jedi-senator, and I think it is better to offer your services to them to avoid being tied down with a senator that does not share your level of activity or the other way around.

Kay is currently getting enrolled as the first non-Jedi student. She still has no idea that Force users are allowed in the Senate, and people don't know that she was kicked out for that very reason, so she's finding work outside of the Republic as she was told that she wasn't allowed to get any money from the Government. But [member="Mantic Dorn"] wants her to have proper Force training as she told him her secret, so that's about her only tie to the Republic, though it's a small one.

We got two branches left in the republic enclave, "Republic Knights" and force students that follow the light but dont follow other jedi restrictions.
