Darren Apollo
Stellar Energy
Stellar Energy is trading stocks!
For reals. As in partial ownership stocks that give your characters the ability to help decide how the company is ran. In addition, for those that jump on board early, they could become exceedingly rich. And you don't have to trade starships - just those imaginary RP credits.
Why do this? I'd simply like to get people involved with my company in as many different ways as possible. Plus, it's something different from what people normally do with stocks and company ownership.

Rules:
- One trade per character/company/organization per session - editing is allowed until the deadline. Just post the template below.
- Only attempt to purchase an amount reasonable for the character you roleplay.
- One can only sell stocks they own (so for the first session, anyone interested is only buying).
- Type: [Buy or sell]
- Shares: [The amount of shares to trade]
- Cutoff price / stock: [ The price will change as stocks are divided after a session. If buying, it's the highest price you'd pay for in a stock. If selling, it's the lowest price you'd sell for. ]
There are two quick ways to do that. You just need the Calculator application on your computer.
- Come up with the most amount of credits your character would spend on the entire trade. Divide that with the cutoff price you'd pay for stock. There's your amount of shares to trade.
- Think of what percentage of Stellar Energy you'd want to own. That's the percentage of outstanding shares you'll try to buy.
- Not all of the NPC's shares will be for sale.
- The more stocks bought/sold in a single session, the more drastic the price fluctuation - hence the need for a cutoff price.
- Once you own enough stock in the company, your trades become public knowledge.
