Step Two. (Order of the Grey)

Another easy task. [member="Javik Quar-Kai"] wouldn't feel affected by the forge itself, so why bother holding back. Setting his new gauntlet on the side of the basin and his free hand, he'd wave [member="Maleus"] over. "The image is in your mind yes? Good." He instantly began the forging, focusing on simply shaping the metal to the giant's image. A bracer. Nice and quick, that was for sure.

The moments would pass quickly, the hot yet cool metal wrapping around the thick wrist. It would take time simply from the size, but over all it was faster than the others. With a faded grin the Zabrak would finish the melding, bringing his own hands up from the side of the pool. And, it was done. The first batch of the Dark Items was finished, and the Grey had them. With a sigh he would move to a nearby wall, crouching down to lean against it.

"And.. There we go.. Now, you will have to give me a moment.. Perhaps I can even show you some alchemy when I am much more rested."

Krest was strong but attending to the creation of these items seemed to draw from his reserves a bit. The complexity of what he accomplished was something that Maleus found himself in awe over. <How many years did it take to perfect this?> He walked a bit closer to see what was happening since Krest had waved him over. The cauldron was bubbling vigorously with power, the likes of which the young male had never seen.
<I like this....>
The talon-esque gauntlet that had been grafted into his arm felt as if it had always belonged and with Krests willingness to show them how to refine their ability in regards to alchemy made things all the more interesting.

"I would be most grateful. But do explain what will be expected of us to do in regards to helping you create this new thing for yourself.."

Maleus's gaze swept over Javik's monstrous form as he spoke these words.

Javik felt his hand tickled by the process and when it was done he pulled his hand out and examined the Bracer. It was simple and yet beautiful, It set him aside from the rest of them and reflected his mindset, Simple and Effective. In Combat Javik played no games, He was a Warrior and a Intellectual. Sounding off with a popping noise the De'Nochsax used the sound waves to look at all the details of the new object on his hand. The sounds stopped and he looked at [member="Krest"] and bowed.

<< " This Items is of Excellent craftsmanship, I do agree with [member="Maleus"]. I myself some day would wish to create an object of my own" >> He voiced.

[member="Maleus"]

[member="Maleus"] [member="Javik Quar-Kai"]

"Good. Because the both of you will be making me my own sword. The most I'll be doing is giving you a step by step instruction on what to do and how to do it." And with that the Zabrak brought up his hand, calling over a rather simple object. A pure metal sword, and a pure metal sheath. He'd hold it out for either the Zabrak or the De'Nochsax to take one or the other of the items. "And don't worry, if you mess up I'll be able to fix it. Probably."

[member="Maleus"] [member="Javik Quar-Kai"]

"Seems simple enough." Maleus's hand moved in to grasp the bladed portion. If all went as planned that would mean Javik would be left with the sheathe. "Besides, if something goes wrong we can always blame it on the quality of the metal and not our own error. Er.. "
<Guess I should have saved the humor until after this was done.>

He waited for Javik to obtain the other portion and further instruction from Krest.

Skaarj...

Javiks mind produced a whisper again. His older ways were bothering him but he would refuse to allow it to trip him up into something else. Javik Nodded and came forward extending a hand to focus on the Sheathe of the blade. He listened to the words of [member="Maleus"] about messing up and chuckled slightly. << " Any mistakes would be on us, not the Metal." >> he voiced, Javik was one to take responsibility and not blame others. Taking a deep breath he said << " I am Ready.." >>

[member="Krest"]

"Very good.. Now. Set both the blade and the sheath into the basin. Afterwards, set your hands onto the basin and begin. Your hands will be the connection. Feel the blade within the waters, focus on it. Make it change. You're gauntlets and the bracer are what you want to make the blade and sheath similar as. Use them as a guildline. Modify them to be the gauntlet, at least in structure, and keep the shape."

The Zabrak wasn't going to help with this one. All he would do is guide through his voice, nothing else. They should be able to handle it, at least hopefully. They certainly would try.

<That is an admirable trait.> He liked Javik already for he seemed to be a rather honorable sentient being. <Hm.> Enough distr[SIZE=14.4444446563721px]actions, t[/SIZE]his would be the time for action, and so, with that he approached the basin and set the blade into the well . Then nodding gently as he prepared to bridge the items together with Javik's help . With the first action set and Krests instruction he had a base-line of what he wished to forge. Working in tandem would most likely make synchronization a chore but it wasn't something they couldn't handle.

Maleus was a Knighted for a reason and he knew Javik was no push-over either.
"Let's begin."

He would wait for the sheathe to be aligned with the blade.

It was hard to act like you had not done a skill before, and Alchemy was something he helped with often in a past life. He knew what to do but took his time to give the illusion that he didn't, It was very simple though really. Placing small sheathe in the Basin Javik then extended his hands and focused feeling the blade and letting it serve as a template for sheathe to b formed. He was slow but accurate to the image that was wanted and soon enough it fell together in place. With the Shaping done he carefully angled the sheathe to slide over the blade that [member="Maleus"] helped create.

[member="Krest"]

The Zabrak watched on quietly, a small smile on his face. So [member="Maleus"] and [member="Javik Quar-Kai"] were beginning. Exactly what he had hoped for. From the distance he would help a little, despite the fact he said he wouldn't. It wasn't so much helping the changing of the shape, but rather to begin to suppress the Darkside from getting into the blade as it was forged. While he couldn't stop the taint entirely, he could prevent the blade from being too dark for his want.

And so he would sit on the ground, his fingers pointed to the bowl as he did his own work along side the two, a grin plastered across his face.

Maleus did not know the parameters of the forging of this blade. Essentially meaning that all he thought he had to do was bring the blade together and fashion it against the sheathe. However he found it to be irrevocably harder. <So that.'s.. Hm..> He had the image of what he wished it to look like. <Hmm..> His hand weaved the blade into an image that he had in his mind something in the shade of black no-less. If he was not halted while trying to do his best to manipulate the blade he would do just that.

Then he worked on aligning the blade against the sheathe Javik produced. It was difficult, he found that while trying to bring them together he needed to be in sync with his companion. This was going to take time and effort.

Both of which he could sacrifice in the name of creating a quality blade. Not to mention he knew the ulterior motive for this exercise was not just making a blade for Krest.
Rather it was so they could learn how to do this in the future should they try to create their own which was a blessing in itself.

<Come on...> He pressed further with the foundation set, all he needed to do was produce results.

As the process continued with difficulty Javik rolled his eyes at it all. Though [member="Maleus"] did not have the gifts of the mind like a De'Nochsax did he still was doing decent for his first time, Javik started to beat himself up for reverting to be so cocky. Being a Genius was a gift and a curse for him, it made him cocky in alot of areas including the Force. He too pushed further into the Forge and started to slowly slowly match up with [member="Maleus"]'s steady progression. Javik was too fast to start and the Zabrak seemed too slow in the giants mind they would need to work together better now.

[member="Krest"]

There was a moment of silence from the Zabrak before he suddenly stood up, reaching out to the pool. From [member="Javik Quar-Kai"] and [member="Maleus"] his blade would come, suddenly finished. The two had done a wonderful job on the blade, but Krest needed it now. Holding the blade aloft, he'd smile. "And there we go.. Thank you."

"So there we have it.." There was a sense of accomplishment that Maleus found himself taking a linking to. Having seen Krest force the to levitate in the air he crossed his arms with a glint of envy. <I'll have to learn how to perfect what I just did for the creation of something like that as well..>

For now he continued to marvel their work.
