Story of My Life

I don't need an eye. Pick an eye, any eye and let's do this. We'll fight for a while longer after the loss of the eye then you can run I guess?

Both men collided blades, both men giving every single ounce of strength and power that they had, both men bringing their blades up to deflect against those from the other. Colt brought his blade back, spinning it and bringing it across on the attack, the Jedi bringing his own blade up to deflect the shot. The Jedi brought his blade into a Makashi shot, Colt parrying the attack itself. He brought his own blade across, forcing the Jedi to jump to keep his legs.

Colt stepped back, using his momentum to lunge towards the Jedi. He brought his blade across his body again, the Jedi parrying the attack and pushing the blade back. Colt stepped back again, his blade parrying another attack from the Jedi. Both men were evenly matched, and another shake hit the ground, another earthquake from the environment effecting force move that Colt had used earlier in the fight. The rain and lightning was still coming down, the hole in the roof providing the best open space for the rain to soak both men, it was like fighting on Kamino.

He brought his blade across him again, leaving himself wide open.

The Jedi and the Sith collided and exchanged a few blows in the air as the metal door barrelled down the hallway, crashing into the far wall in a heap of debris. Meanwhile, Krux landed on his feet across from his foe and he immediately began to continue their battle.

Once again, as they had been for thousands of years, Sith Crimson met Jedi Blue, cracking against one another in the ruined, now darkened hallway, illuminated only by the duelist's lightsabers. Krux continued to utilize his knowledge of Makashi, taking jabs at the Sith and parrying his powerful sweeps, fueled by hatred and passion, which Krux Mullarus had grown out of.

Finally, through the storm that still brewed indoors due to the strange, alien ability the Sith had conjured, Krux saw an opening. The Sith had leaned in too far for that lunge. Now, his head was exposed. Seeming stuck in that moment in time, Krux considered his options.

I can behead this Sith and rid the galaxy of his filth. He is at my mercy, even if he doesn't know it. He would surely do the same to me!

But...no. I shouldn't stoop to his level. If I just give him a scar...something that will remain with him for - well, a long time if not forever - he will no doubt vy for vengeance. If I show him that mercy here, he may pursue me to my end across the stars, but eventually I will make him see the pursuit of revenge is futile.

Maybe then, I can make him see the errors of the Dark Side, too. If I can convert a Sith Lord...I can do it for him.

Deliver the coup de grace!

Krux's decision was made. In the blink of an eye, Mullarus brought his sword arm into a quick Makashi-style uppercut whilst stepping back, which would bring just the tip of his lightsaber across his opponent's face and, possibly, even one of his eyes...

He was too slow on the reaction, too engrossed in swinging his blade to notice the Makashi style attack aiming for his face. He was too slow on the uptake, the blade stretching from across his cheek to the corner of his forehead, his left eye caught in the attack. Instantly he jumped back, left hand gripping at the eye. It was dark, nothing. The lightsaber had done damage, left him blind. He couldn't forgive the Jedi for blinding him. The pain was intense, but he fed on the pain, the pain made him stronger. He clenched his hand into a fist, his depth perception gone.

He run back into the fight, lightsaber ready this time. He brought the blade down towards the Jedi, the pain fueling his strength. He would use his blade to initiate a saber lock, using the force to enhance his strength. He would begin to push back the Jedi Knight, Colt using his strength for good. The earthquakes had opened up a gap in the wall, and the fall was a long way down. Colt cackled, eyeing the Jedi lightly.

"You cost me my eye. Now I will cost you your life and prove to you that Darth Novus is not to be played"

The Sith - Darth Novus' resiliency was almost frightening. Blood ran down the man's face as he locked blades with Krux. Where his left eye had been before was just a hole, where some melted eyeball might have been. One thing was for sure - it was terrifying to look at.

Krux grit his teeth. He had expected the blow to the face to make Novus lose the will to fight and give him a chance to escape. This was not what the Knight had in mind. But he had to fight for his life. Krux pushed himself off of the ground and up, through the hole in the wall left after the strange, alien quakes and pulled himself up on top of the roof of the palace, where it seemed the rain was still falling.

Once on top, he'd jog his way further up the roof until he could peer across the landscape to find his starship and try to escape. Alas, he would turn around and expect to find the scarred Sith in hot pursuit...

Colt wasn't following, he needed a bacta tank to try and make his eye into something that resembled an eye once more. The rain and the wind whipped the hole, the scorched tunic flapping around the Sith Knight. He thumbed the power on his blade, reattaching it to his belt. He crossed his arm once more, eyes flashing through the hole. The wind was dying down on the orders of the Sith, much to his delight. It'd taken everything from him to power the storm and quakes for as long as he had. It had taken everything from him, and he thought about that as the pain finally made him pass out.

Atrisian doctors would sprint into the palace, ready to care for the Sith. The storms would die out, the sun returning onto the planet surface once more. Cleaners would sprint through the palace, mopping up the damage that the water had caused. Any rubble would be cleaned out by builders. Simple.
