Dozens of trees passed Venni as she ran through the forests of Devaron. It was early in the morning, so she was out on her daily run. It had rained the previous night, so there was a lot of mud on the ground, but it wasn't anything Venni hadn't survived yet. She kept her focus on what was in front of her so she could weave through the trees at the right time. Occasionally there would be a log or rock on the ground that she would do a front-flip over. She definitely knew what she was doing, and it showed.
While still running, Venni changes direction to a large tree. She runs head on towards the tree, and with her momentum she runs up it, grabbing onto a low hanging branch. She pulls onto the branch to lift herself up the rest of the way, and when she is steady she begins climbing the rest of the tree. Within a minute she was at the top of the tree, about 100 feet above ground.
Standing on a strong branch, Venni looks over the forest, viewing what she called home. She saw creatures scattered throughout the forests that she spent much of her time hunting, but right now they were in luck, as Venni didn't need to hunt at that moment. She trapped and caught several animals before it rained the previous day so as to have some backup food ready to be slaughtered and cooked over a makeshift campfire.
Venni jumped off of the branch she once stood on, grabbing onto other branches as she fell only to let go of them to fall closer to the ground. Within a few brief moments she was almost to the bottom; she just needed to grab onto one more branch. She readied her hands to grab an incoming branch, but she slipped up at the last second. Barely holding the branch, Venni fell to the ground on her back. Thankfully the fall wasn't that far, so she was okay. Having enough climbing for that day, Venni started to make her way to the Acclamator-class assault ship wreckage she called home. She would reach her destination in about an hour.
