Student for the Sky

The slightly pale looking Jin Jedi stared into the mirror, running a hand down the scar that cross the woman's left eye, letting out a small sigh. "Okay Sukai, just calm down a little, yes this person is only, 3 years younger then you but come on you are an adult now, your 21, a senior knight, daughter to the Crimson Shadow and a Samurai". Giving herself one last look over Sukai made her way down to the temple garden grounds, dressed in her robes her Sword and Sabre strapped to her belt. "Now were is Morrigan, she should be around here somewhere". All the knigh knew was that the girl was an Arkanian offshoot crossed with a Sephi? something like that, certainly an interesting mix... kind of ironic given her own ethnic background.

She was moving, allowing the force to guide her as the white haired padawan stood with the blades. She had a lightsaber on her belt but she was looking at a decent pace as she walked. THe wintrium force sword on her back, the blade on her hip and light scarring on her face. Where she was able to look though it gave her a few ideas. THen seeing the jedi who would be her master gave her even more. She wasn't... typical, more rough and looked frial to the unobserved. Petite with some scars yes but the force didn't care about size, it cared about intent and the children of the jedi had been trained sinc e birth in the jedi tradition compared to many. THey didn't slip up, they didn't falter they didn't give into darkness. Each of them had a family legacy to live up to after all. "Master." the words were semi foreign on her tongue, master Jarl was someone she called master and the others.

Sukai turned her head to the side at the words 'master', it was a new title she'd have to get used to while training this new Padawan... well sort of new, someone at 18 was usually pretty close to knight hood. She did hear that the women was trained since birth to be a Jedi, so in term of skill she should have been pretty experienced, made her wonder why they had selected her to be their master. Questions for later, right now she had to introduce herself to the white haired teen, "hello there, [member="Morrigan Jeth"] I presume, I am Sukai'ito Yumi apparently your new master, it's quite the pleasure to meet you". On closer inspection Sukai noticed the height different, having to look up a little to make eye contact with her new Padawan. 'She is taller then I expected, now I know what if feels like to be Wu... curse my slow growth rate'.

Looking at her whens he turned her head down a little. Stoic and expressionless before she was moving and bowed. "THank you for taking me." Her arms crossed over her chest for a moment in interest as she sized her master up and the woman was smaller but that would only serve to make them stand out when together. She seemed to have a lot to teach so that would come in handy now as Morrigan spoke. "I am ready to begin whenever you are master, I want to learn as much as I can from the silver jedi order." She had no intentions of leaving and turning away from the order was not an option. The Altisian tradition called for them to go out and explore.

"It's my pleasure to have a student, I was not expecting to be allocated one almost as old as me, I hope the skill I have are are to you liking", she replied giving a small bow. Her voice sounding more mature, the old sky, the one what was focused on scholarly objectives being produced when talking with Morgan. "I suppose we should start with what you already know, will give a good basis on were to start with your training, though it does not hurt to go over the basics again". "I know a few small tricks my own master used when teaching with me, I have a feeling they may be useful with you yourself". Obviously using marshmallows was not on the table, but some other for of food may be in order, though she'd have to wait until the woman listed her current skills in the force.

The basics.. alright she could do that and stood there removing her belt with the dagger and shoulder strap for her sword. The two being set down carefully until she was checking it out. "I have been trained by the jedi order since I was born. Tutaminis, tapas, mental barriers, shielding, physical enhancement skills to make me able to move around." SHe said it and had her lightsaber on her hip. "We prctice saber skills in shii-cho and Ateru for moving around the jungles and island." A small look was one her face though when she shook out her hair. THe white bangs moving to the side as she was ready for anything that might be able to happen.

She made a mental list of what the woman knew they seemed to share their skill sets, well more everything Morgan knew she already knew, aside from mental barriers, that was something she would need to work on herself sometime. "Well we can certainly expand on your already established force powers, perhaps shielding and tutaminis, that is something one can never have to much practice with, I myself need to brush up everynow and then". "Next we can have a spar, I myself use ataru and have almost mastered the form along with Niman and a custom style that I think you could use to your advantage rather well, that sound good to you"?

She was looking at her master and she touched the hilts of her blades where she was touching them. Tapping the hilts with twin kyber crystals that were set up on them. "You are my master, I shall do as you think best." She said ti and there was no emotion to it... she was mostly stating a plain fact to it all. She would do what her master wanted and she would learn what she could. Morrigan though remained there and she looked while she focused on the force itself within her and she could feel it rooting her to the ground. "I am ready to begin whenever you are master, tutaminis, saber forms, whatever you want to start with I shall endeavor to work on."

Well, she had certainly gotten a very model student, a follow everything to the letter it seemed, good to train with though she had a feeling it may be hard striking up conversation. Kind of felt like talking to a younger version of her mother if dads stories were anything to go by, "okay then follow me over here and I'll see how good your tutaminis skill are". Walking a small bit away Sukai pulled a blaster from her Yukata, spinning it in her hands before taking aim. "I'll leave it on stun for now and slowly increase the power, unless your are comfortable with a higher setting, then after that we could try out sabers on each other to test our energy deflection".

Looking at her masters expression she seemed ot have thought of something but Morrigan was walking and listening to it. She moved to the side and left her blades on her back and hip. Eyes trcking and watching the blaster to see what it was until she was moving her hands in front of herself. Focusing the force when it felt like a tingle and a swirl... energy coming, pooling in her hands as she stood there and shifted her feet. Planting them firmly and she faced her master several feet away before shaking her head back and was prepared before she nodded her ageement that she was ready for her masters attack.

Sukai gave Morgan a few seconds to get in the right position, feeling the woman's aura sparking up as she prepared for the oncoming flurry of blaster bolts. "Ready? Begin". Pulling the trigger on the blaster Sukai sent 3 shots towards Morgans body, aiming indiscriminately at the girl to see how she could react, one could not expect an attacker to shoot at the same spot on every single off action, and with a Jedi changing up targeting points was often a good strategy. She would wait to see how the Padawan reacted before continuing the rather make shift lesson, after all this was just a gauging test to see her full potential and current skill level.

Morrigan felt the force, in herself and in her hands as her senses narrowed to just this moment. Blood rushing throughout her body. She could feel her heart ratr slowing down to let her focus and she watched the shot as it was forming, slowly in her mind with the after image of where it was going to go and she steeled herself not to dodge or raise a blade to deflect. No she was standing rooted while her feet dug into the ground itself... she was prepared to work at it and the shimmering energy in her hands. it was like the world was paused for a moment until she was guiding her hand to where the shot was going to go and she felt it connect dissipating across her hands to empower her then she used it to make her reflexes stronger.

Sukai raised an eyebrow as her shots were intercepted by Morgan, the red bolts slashing against her hand like water upon impact. Lower in the weapon she walked fowards, sensing said energy now within the padawan “that was good, I assume you have some sort of way to now discharge that captured energy quickly”? She asked handing the weapon as an indication for her to have a go shooting. Sukai was not aware if Morgan knew electrical judgment or know how one could transfers such energy into a quick offensive attack.

She looked at her master and waited there for a moment as she held a hand out and pulled her blade to herself. The massive blade was lighterweight being made of wintrium synthmesh and blood diamond dust with kyber crystal weaved throughout it. It wa as much a part of her as anything and the jedi padawan held the blade as she channeled the force energies into the blade making it radiate with the lightside of the force. White hot to the look but there was no heat to the light it was warm and peaceful as the shadows were chased away and she was focusing the energies into it. With a look in her eyes as she held the blade and focused swinging it in an arc at the wall with a crescent blade appearing of lightside energy that sailed through the air.

Sukai looked at the women's finely crafted blade blade, a weapon that rival, no probably outclassed her own judging from the way it was crafted. Ture hers was most likely much sharper due to the forging method use, but besides that the weapon her 'Padawan' wielded was certainly a one of a kind weapon with materials that she'd never be able to get her hands on. Her surprises just kept of increasing as she watched with amazement as Morgan then performed an attack that transferred the absorbed energy into a light blade. "That, is most impressive, how did you perform such an attack"? she asked, eyes glued to the blade which the white haired women held in her hand.

She looked at her master holding the blade and gave a look. "Master Jarl taught us, it is an Altisian tradition to construct blades on the island as a lightsaber is rare and we didn't have the full means to recharge them. So force swords and learning how to use it to defend outselves against some of the dangerous creatures. That the other jedi we have met developed materials that enhance and focus the force energies themselves is something that has benefited us all greatly in creating new equipment and robes. Another the child of Skywalker crafted a bow for herself to use and it allows her to focus her force energies to fire bolts."

Sukai found it a little hard to remember she was supposed to be the master, mainly because so far Morgan had been the main one teaching, herself quite drawn into the history of her people. "That is quite the interesting back ground, us Riben-Jin use blade for a similar reason, putting a lot of care into how they are made and forge, it is customary that every Riben-Jin learn metal working from a young age". Going over to her bag Sukai drew her force infused Katana, drawing the blade and showing it to her Padawan, it's surface polished to a mirror sheen, her own grey force signature emanating from the metal. "Would you be able to teach me such a skill? I use my blade just as much as my sabers, I am certain such a skill will be of great use to me".

"I can." She said it with a look at her master and crossed her arms a little in interest and readiness for the next part of the training. She could see her masters blade with a nod of her head. It was finely crafted and gave her an idea or two of what they might be able to spar. "WHen you hold the blade channel and pull the force across your body. From the extension of your fingers, from the soles of your feet... you want to feel the force and as you channel it through the blade you are focusing on where you want to direct the attack. THen you release it as you strike and allow the force to go outwards at a target."

Taking her 'padawans' advice Sukai gripped the hilt with a firm hand, concentrating on the force signature that resided within her body, directing it through her arms and into the force infused blade. It seemed easier then she expected, the enchantment in the blade acting like a magnet for her aura, soaking up the power with little effort. Raising the blade over her head the senior knight did a air-cut, slicing the blade downwards, at the apex of the swing she 'pushed' into the blade with the force, thus releasing a bluish curved wave of energy.

A wide smile was plastered across herself from doing better then expect... perhaps to good in her mind, Sukai watching with a bit of worry as her attack seemed much more powerful and wild. Such beam slamming into a nearby wall, causing more damage then her padawan did, "uuuum didn't mean to do that... whoops".

She looked at her master and the moment it happened brought a grin to her face... it was an impressive attack to say the least for one with an unrefined level of skill using the technique. So she stood there and nodded her head for the jedi master. "Very good, it will take practice and learning to understand and use it but it can be done and this is proof of it, proof you know what you can do with it." Morrigan moved back and slid her blade back into her sheath when she looked around holding the dagger as it went into her hip sheath. white hair was there. She pulled it into a ponytail and adjusted her gloves ready for the next part of the lessons with a bow of her head to her master.
