Sith force at Ziost said they are attacking all over instead of just the one planet
Seeder ships and fleet escorts have been sent out since the beginning of the operation meaning there are assets in the caldera for us to use.
Distress signal was sent for Korriban to bring [member="Connor Harrison"] to the world to help the jedi team of destruction
A number of fleets and ships are moving in to combat the enemy fleets

Can someone please tell me why there was a bombardment on Korriban?

from what I can see, Charon orbitally bombarded a city full of sith that spawned ont he planet at the beginning of the rebellion was taken over with no real resistance and ignoring defenders then fortified with a zombie army, droids and new things pulled out to counter the latest thing against them.
Though the numbers are skewed and laughable given it is korriban.... a barren desert world with monsters that eat people... yet is now hosting millions of people when every faction that has dommed it had it as a dead planet. Now the sith appear and millions are in one city and only talked about after someone tries to blast them.
My opinion stands it is like checkers with four year olds, they don't get their way change the rules

The people writing on Korriban appear to have ignored the previous board canon.
[member="Karen Roberts"] had a thread detailing blockading the planet against trespassers, and the previous Primeval dominion established the world as a dead planet. Yet, for the purposes of this dominion/invasion, there was suddenly a "Korriban City" with millions of inhabitants.
On a world occupied by tarentateks, which are comparable to the xenomorphs of the Alien franchise. Not to mention Korriban undead and hishiss. A colony or city is simply not plausible.
It's also notable that the writer involved has a history of doing this, and did it to the Galactic Alliance.
I think a reasonable course of action is to have the writer edit the post and be removed from the thread, myself, but I'm not certain the OOC community would allow that kind of retcon. Plus, given this thread (and how quickly it popped up), this appears to be fully intentional on the part of the writer.
If allowed to remain canon, there will need to be serious consequences. And I'd anticipate the Mandalorians invading soon.

Okay I am waiting on a reply from the Sith admins. And probably will not get one until morning US time. (not sure to be honest)
However, I have RL stuff I need to do too now, so as soon as I know anything I will inform you all.

Just letting you admins know,
I've put up an open personal thread before I knew talks were happening about the bombardment actually having taken place, and because of such; until I know that the bombardment has been stricken from the record, I'll be operating under the assumption that it has happened.
If a decision is made and the bombardment is struck from the record, let me know and ill scrap the thread.

What we are talking about with the sith admins is the reduction in the population of the city that was attacked, to a more realistic level. It is more likely to be around the 100,000 mark in total and the percentage of deaths to be announced.
But in light of the event, this is a mute point, regardless of the 'actual' number of deaths. It is still an unsanctioned attacked (OOCly and ICly) by the character involved.

It was very weak reference in a very weak thread. Nothing to bother with now. As such, I highly recommend ignoring any of those old Karen vs Korriban threads.
Whatever Coci works out with them is for the best. Cheers!
