Stygium Prime?

He looked at the vault, longing for the time to be able to loot it. However, he had no doubt that the explosion had been heard, and others were on their way. Even if he didn't have time to raid the vault, he wanted to get that precious shard. For that, however, he would need a distraction. That was what his explosives were for, after all. He pressed the button on his detonator, and a large explosion shook the building. Following the explosion, the power shut out, and he heard people yelling. He grinned. Time to get himself a shard.

He activated the night vision in his cybernetic eyes, and found his "loot sack." He hauled the sack over his shoulder, and headed off for where the shard was "hidden." He made it to the door, then paused. By shutting off the power, he had accidently disabled the keypad to enter the room. Grimacing, he dropped his sack and drew his saber. After several minutes, he managed to cut through the door. He entered the room, and located the small box hidden away in the corner. He opened the box, grinning as he saw his prize. He stuffed the box in his bag, then set off to make his escape.

He must have been quite an odd sight, limping down the halls, clutching his side, and a sack over his back. Though technically, due to the power outage, nobody could see him. If not for night vision, he'd be wandering around, as blind as a bat. Eventually, he managed to retrace his steps back to the entrance. He poked his around the corner, searching for hostiles. Satisfied he was safe for the time being, he walked into the daylight.

At first. he had forgot to turn off his night vision setting, temporarily blinding him. He switched it back quickly, before any real damage could be inflicted. As his eyes adjusted to the light, he looked around at the scene before him.

Everything was sheer chaos. There were smoldering craters where the generators used to be, and sections of the wall were beginning to fall apart. Mercenary guards were shooting at one another, in a desperate attempt to loot the place and scram. Small building were smoldering, and blaster fire erupted everywhere. He grinned. The perfect time for an escape.

Nobody paid him much attention as he walked throughout the destroyed compound, carnage in his wake. It was funny how he had caused all of this destruction, yet nobody knew he caused it. Though, on second thought, it may have been for the better. Otherwise, he might have gotten a bounty placed on his head, something he did not particularly want at the moment. Only one person dared oppose him during his exodus, and that person met a quick and grisly fate.

As soon as he made it a good distance outside of the walls, he pressed a button next to his comlink, signaling for his men to pick up up. Not a minute later did the gunship land a few feet from him, and he hopped in. Its other tenants were a squad of his Marines, there to make sure his escape went smoothly. As he rose up into the atmosphere, he took one last look at the planet. It certainly had been an interesting day.
