The whole building shook as the massive and ugly creatures below began opening fire with massive cannons on their backs. The projectiles tore through the capital building, throwing debris of stone and metal in every direction. Tylan was peeking his slugthrowing rifle out of the window when a mass driver slug tore through the wall beside him, throwing him across the room. He tumbled through dust and smoke, he couldn't tell which way was up or down or left or right all he could see was black smoke and grey smoke.
By the time Tylan had come to a stop, the smoke was rolling across the entire room and the projectile had torn through the front of the building and out the back. The warlord stood, grabbing his head in pan and slowly standing to his feet. How could he not see this coming? He should have prepared for a second Sith incursion into his land and yet...here he was. Tylan shook off his pain and ran to the window, his eyes were still burning heavily from the dust and smoke in the room and he could barely see out of his stinging and water eyes. Still, he could see just enough to make out the form of the Graug army as it began its crazed charge toward the front of the capital building.
The leader of the army, clearly the large beast at the helm, was pointing a bulky arm towards Tylan's position. He must have ordered a full on charge on the capital building, it was like he was fighting a musket war. Fire on your enemy until they are broken and then charge in with blades for the kill, that was how these beasts of the Sith seemed to be fighting. As the warlord peered out over the charging monsters, his position was suddenly riddled with gunfire from below. The Kaleesh leap backwards, to avoid getting hit by the hail of gunfire. This was not good, there had to be more than a hundred of those things rushing into the capital. Tylan knew that it wouldn't take the bulky creatures long to overwhelm the bottom floor of the eight story capital building. After the bottom floor was captured there would only be two ways out. An escape hatch on the fourth floor that lead to an adjacent building, or by dying.
