Surgical Percision (One Sith Dominion of Sposia)

"There's always something charming about the calm before the storm," Taeli, known as Darth Arcanix within the One Sith, mused aloud as she stared down at the world of Sposia. The Chiss world was the site of their most extensive medical facilities, both research and treatment, and also many of their academies and libraries. In other words, it was the perfect world for the Sith to take and add to their growing empire. She felt herself swelling with pride that her master had consented to allowing her this opportunity, and she wasn't going to waste it. She would hopefully impress [member="Darth Praelior"] and other members of the Sith hierarchy with a successful campaign.

The world wasn't too heavily guarded in space, but Taeli was still unsure what the ground defenses might be, so she had decided overwhelming force was necessary. A full Sith fleet hung at the edge of the system, brimming with troops and her fellow Sith, the objectives laid out quite clearly. Take the facilities and academies, annihilate any Chiss or mercenary that stood in their way, take the planet and prisoners, and establish a forward operation post.

"Begin the assault," she ordered, the ships beginning to move forward, streaking towards the minimal orbital defenses. She started to grin wider as this marked the beginning of something new for her.

OCC Note: Didn't really consider defenses on the planet so opposition encountered is up to us, but let's make it fun and exciting

Carliah Dakrone

Walking the Path to Redemption
Carliah was standing next to Taeli. The two were about as close to being friends as two Sith could get. She had agreed to help her ambitious friend take the planet. After all where there was blood to be shed Carliah seemed to follow. She smirked over at the younger Knight.

"You're loving this aren't you?" She asked, grabbing her vibrosword and waiting for their own ship to land on the planet's surface. She really needed to get on her master's ass about getting a lightsaber. This vibrosword wouldn't work well for long and she needed a weapon more suited to her life as a Sith Knight and Mad Queen of Widek. [member="Darth Arcanix"]

Brianne yawned as she came up beside the two Sith knights and was eating a energy bar, in a armor that looked like it was made of Jung-ji fibers, energy resistant but that was about it. "Excuse me, you are obstructing the view." As for who she was, well it wasn't all too public so she simply looked up at the two women who stood there and smiled.

"Of course, its a chance to prove ourselves," Taeli replied, watching several Chiss fighter craft engaging with the Wrath starfighters that were attached to the Sith task force. "You can't tell me that you don't relish the chance of annihilating your enemies and bathing your sword in their blood?"

She was genuinely happy to have the mad Miraluka with her in this battle, she might be unhinged from torture, but she was a powerful ally and Taeli actually considered her a friend, well as much anyone can be friends amongst the Sith.

"Blue Group, engage the orbital stations, I don't want anything disrupting the landings," she ordered.

"As commanded, Lady Arcanix," the commander said, issuing her instructions and several Dark Blade destroyers, along with the Tenebris-class cruisers and Elytra-class frigates began to move against the orbital stations that were firing cannons at the incoming Sith juggernaut.

Hearing the young voice behind them, Taeli turned and couldn't stop the laugh at seeing the young girl eating an energy bar and trying to watch the beginning stages of the action.

"You're a bit young for this, aren't you?" she asked.

Carliah laughed and continued to watch the battles unfolding before them. Taeli's words were correct. She did enjoy the idea of soon being covered head to toe in blood as she slashed her way through a horde of enemies. The newer ships caught her attention though and she smiled.

"Perhaps when this is over we should discuss giving your company a presence on Widek?" She asked, with a smirk before turning to face their younger, white haired companion. Carliah glanced over the girl and resisted the urge to laugh. Taeli had a point, the girl did look to young for this. The motherly instincts in Carliah wanted her to demand that the youngest member of their group remain on the ship during their invasion, but she said nothing. "Sorry, busy watching the assault, please save the concerns for age when there is an actually dangerous situation. Then promptly stow them, i can take care of myself." Brianne was studying the lay out of the battle field so far. "Say, how many orbital stations are there, any chance of taking them offline with a slight Virus infiltration of a kind, perhaps even just taking out their life support. They would be valuable assets if kept intact partially." She looked up at Taeli, grinning as she took another bit of the bar.

"I'm always open to expanding Krayt's operations," Taeli chuckled, giving another look at the girl. She looked and sounded a lot like Alex did, but her presence was very different than her partner in Krayt Industries. For a single moment, she entertained the idea it was Alex, but she dismissed that idea immediately. Even Alex couldn't reverse her age.

"You bring up a good point," she said with a smile at the girl, as a Chiss flotilla mobilized from the planet, a frigate racing towards their own ship. "Have Blue Group target life support systems on the stations, then assemble assault teams to deal with security forces that were able to survive the sudden loss."

Taeli continued to watch the frigate get closer, Wrath fighters already swarming it, and turbolasers from their ship began pinging off the enemy's shields.

"Of course you are. And what will I get out of this arrangement?" She asked with a smirk, choosing to ignore the cocky white haired girl for now. Carliah went back to watching the scene before them. She was eager to reach the planet's surface and start shedding blood. She knew Taeli wanted some of the Chiss alive, but Carliah would have to atleast kill some of them. After all what fun was a battle without any blood being spilled? [member="Darth Arcanix"] [member="Darth Arcanix"]

While a trio of rather busy Sith Knights had a little discussion with teacups and everything, there were people downstairs on the ground doing things. One of them being the ever present and ever moody Mordecai Zambrano. Here he stood neck deep in enemy gunfire and he and his little contingent of Yuuzhan Vong warriors were snaking their way to the academies. Knowledge was power, y'know.

"Breaaaak them!"

A warrior snarled over the chorus of blasterfire, bringing an amphistaff down to bear on a black-uniformed Chiss soldier.

"No, do not kill all of them," Mordecai hissed, "Leave their teachers and staff. Students as well. Only exterminate their military personnel."

And with that, his crimson blade hacked through yet another body as his little squad moved through the city.

A stone dagger to the carotid finished the job of one of the Vong warriors. Chiss blood spurted across the knife-wielding Ewok.

Grimacing, Warok turned to the towering [member="Mordecai Zambrano"], who was distracted with ordering his personal cadre of guards, and wiped his bloody paw on Mordecai's pant leg.

"Ick. Sticky."

"I also suggest restraint in using anything smaller than a frieghter as well as missle salvos, this includes sending in fighters without heavy ships guarding them. IF bombers are sent in, then use the missle salvos to intercept Chiss Conner Nets, those things can swallow up entire squadrons as they reach a kilometer in all directions and can easily do more damage than an ion burst."

"Watch out and keep both kinetic and energy shields on high as well, Masers deal a surprising punch unlike our turbolasers, acting more likee a physical projectile than the standard laser weaponry we are used too. I suggest heavy cruisers as they will be able to pinpoint a station's life support with more accuracy than a destroyer, supported by some smaller cruisers that are outfitted to deal with any of those pesky clawcrafts."

Brianne took another bite, engaged in watching the every movement of the Chiss ships. This was their greatest officer academies they face, their pilots and strategists would be what remained of the best.

"Well production facilities and the ever constant ability to request what you want for your own forces," Taeli replied to the first question. Adding, she said, "Carliah, if you wouldn't mind leading the next wave to the surface, it appear our fighters have punched a hole in their defenses and Lord Zambrano's Vong have already begun advancing on one of their academies," Taeli said, grinning at the Miraluka as several Wraths destroyed a Chiss carrier analog. The battle was going well, and the young girl had raised several good points. She was curious about who she was. "I'll be joining you shortly, once our young friend and I have dealt with the response forces."

Turning to the commander, she relayed the suggestions the young girl made and they were carried out as quickly as possible by the Sith naval officers.

"I want covering fire for Darth Vivaldi's landing force," she ordered. "And if possible, begin sending assault teams to capture some of the larger Chiss ships, I'd be very interested in studying a maser up close."

She could feel the desire for battle building within her, the Mandalorian side of her itching to have her lightsaber blazing through her enemies. It would be a good way to reveal her weapon, she thought.

The little monster-thing only caught the younger Zambrano's attention when it was too late to save his pants leg. A teddy bear had just wiped blood across his clothes. New clothes. Never mind the fact that he was the one that put them on in the first place, but he was not going to have some midget stuffed animal have his way with them.

Mordecai's own hands were slicked with crimson, so he gave the Ewok a little pet across his head. "I know, right?"

In an instant, he'd just granted the little dude some fashion advice with a sideways scarlet Mohawk.

"Masers, a particle weaponry based on Charric energy. Maser bolts when used in the hand held variant of a charric blaster, or worse on a vehicle, carry much more momentum behind them than lasers, to the point that deflecting such a bolt might cause a lightsaber user to lose their grip on their weapon... You see, with what their ships and orbital stations are using is a form of such up-scaled and equiped much like our Turbolasers, but adding in more kinetic damage and able to cause a much stronger structural damage if the shields are not at their fullest... "

"They suffer in range though so if you can keep them out of range in doing so you will be able to remove the threat without them even being able to fire upon you. I suggest the use of your star destroyers and other long ranged weaponry in consideration of their weapons while the cruisers and frigates get in close to their life support and cause their crews to suffocate with controlled salvos of shield piercing missles... perhaps an proton torpedo or Concussion missle would do the trick."

Carliah smirked and nodded. She was eager to lead part of the battle and wasted no time in doing such. Carliah didn't even wait for the ship to land fully. Once she was close enough to the ground she leaped off the ramp and called for the troops she had brought to follow her.

"I see you killing anyone who isn't military and you'll be losing your hands, got it?" The Queen of Madness growled as she lead the charge towards a small group of Chiss soldiers that were nearby. She slashed through one of the before they even knew what was occurring, using the Force to bolster her speed and strength. She was glad to have recovered somewhat from her state after being tortured. Her strength and speed was starting to return so even without her Force abilities she was still quite fast and strong. She smiled as blood from the man she had slain splattered across her body, not minding the warm, sticky mess of red fluid at all. She turned to face another soldier, darting under her attempted swipe with his own vibrosword and hamstringed him, slitting his throat after he dropped to the ground. As hot strands of crimson dribbled down the side of his head, Warok jutted out his lower lip and pouted.

"Wermo," he snapped grumpily.

The blood-soaked teddy bear chucked his stone dagger, impaling an already dead Chiss corpse lying in the road. He waddled over and tried to jerk the blade free. It didn't budge. He put both hands on it and tugged furiously, but the Chiss defied him in death. Muttering murderous things, Warok released the hilt and slumped back, exhausted.

Around him, blaster bolts chewed into the pavement, soldiers screamed and Vong bellowed battle cries.

Reaching out, Warok tapped into the Dark Spirits and placed his paw on the dead Chiss's skull.

"Tsaiwinokka Hoyakut," he intoned clearly. A strand of glowing scarlet went out from him and into the skull of the corpse, which gave off a rattling sigh as it rose from the ground, reanimated.

Warok smiled wickedly, then he mounted his minion's shoulders and pointed at the front lines.

"Forward!"

Yusan sunk his blade slowly into the neck of the vong soldier as he stood infront of several Chiss Soldiers that fired Masers past him at the enemy. Charric weapons were beautiful and most people forgot the punch they had, with that he looked back at the dying vong and brought the blade of the saber upwards until the Vong's head split in half, his eyes locking on something far too familiar. "You have got to be shitting me... Carliah." He grinned as he spun his blade. "Soldiers, aim for the Sith Troops, the Sith herself is mine."

Well, hell. This little stuffed bear had some tricks quite literally stuffed in 'im. Good, good for him.

Mordecai grinned a mischievous one and drove himself and his crimson blade forward, carving through blue-skinned soldiers like he was a fat kid with a knife and they were pieces of cake. Yum! Just the thought of such pleasantries in the midst of blood-filled combat made Mordecai shiver. Another member of the blue man group tried charging him with a guttural war cry.

"Pathetic little things." The lord said as a decapitated body dropped by his side. He turned to his new Ewok buddy, "Mind making us some more friends?"

Carliah's gaze locked on Yusan and she smiled.

"Kill his troops, but leave him for me," She replied with a smile, watching as her troops went forth to do her bidding. She was covered in blood and gore from the small pile of dead Chiss on the ground around her. She raised her hand and beckoned him forward, choosing to let the bloody red marks Balaya had placed on her to show. They extended from her scarred hand up her arm, curling around her shoulder. The image adding to the sense of madness surrounding her. She would wait for him to come to her. [member="Memorial"]
