Surgical Percision (One Sith Dominion of Sposia)

Hijinks

Cheshire Shi'ido
Jink couldn't figure out what the appeal of killing this horde of blue-skinned cannon fodder, but it made Carliah happy, and he liked seeing his red queen happy. Besides a Sith Knight whose name he couldn't remember, no matter how many times she showed up on Widek, he sighted what looked like an Ewok, a short blonde girl, and one of the multitude of Zambranos in the galaxy. His vantage point in the air let him see what the others couldn't, and that was that the fighters were falling back to protect their base.

One of the aforementioned fighters came roaring towards Jink, and he contemptively flicked one of his chains out to smash it into a squad of Chiss marines. These blue people were putting up a good fight, but if the Sith command team had been any bigger than a Lord, two Knights, and a couple of kids, the battle would have been finished perhaps an hour before. He decided it was time to intercede. Another fighter, slightly slower than the ones before, flew by. The still-out chain whipped out to catch onto two of the ship's wings, and Jink grinned like a kid riding a ronto.

He forced the ship towards another enemy formation, and grinned at the speed that the vehicle was achieving. When it was close to the ground, he leapt off, ripping the maneuvering wings along with him. It crashed in a ball of fire that sent blue-faced people running like the devil himself was behind them. Jink looked over at the assembled commanders, all covered in blood, and flipped his purple hair.

"Well, isn't anybody gonna say hello?"

"These labs are perfect." Balaya was looking at what they had and laughing to herself. The labs here as the soldiers she nhad with her forced their way down. She had graug here serving a purpose, they were making the way forward while blackblades and massassi served to protect her samples, her tools. She was prepared to begin while her apprentices worked to take the world. They had laid a path towards the one room of the medical facility where the test subjects were sitting. She spoke more. "When we get inside ensure I am not disturbed and we will have a wonderful time."

"DAMNIT CARLIAH." He burst forward, drinking in the pain of all the dying that lay around him as he pushed his body faster than he could do without the force, his eyes showing pure crimson as he jumped at her and brought his blade down hard onto her head. He would end this fast, he would try to save her, try to get her out of here, but if he could not then he would kill her. He had heard what she had done to those she ruled over, and she had to be stopped. Whether he loved her or not.

Warok glanced at the newly headless corpse from his position way up high on the shoulders of the Reanimated.

"Heads. Need heads to work," he muttered, "Zambranos." He rolled his eyes.

Two Chiss rocketed out of a side alley, blasters raised. At the sight of one of their comrades, a dagger through his skull and an Ewok on his shoulders, they balked. Bad move.

The Reanimated snaked out a hand and grabbed one of them by the arm. Before the soldier knew what was happening the Reanimated had just ripped a section of bicep out with his teeth. The Chiss screamed and stumbled backward. His companion regained some awareness and started shooting. Blaster bolts tore into the chest of the Reanimated, but it came on, biting off the Chiss's nose and part of his face.

Warok used the dagger in the Reanimated's skull to steer it away, leaving the two bitten Chiss to writhe on the ground. Their fate would be worse than death.

Taeli watched the flame sputtering wreckage of a Chiss destroyer start to be pulled towards the surface, the Chiss flotilla was being pushed further and further back, regrouping around a Chiss Star Destroyer that had joined the fray. The young girl continued to make observations, and her knowledge of masers had certainly helped the Sith forces adapt to their use.

"Status on the orbital stations?" she asked, watching a dogfight erupt outside the bridge viewport. The Sith forces had suffered moderate casualties so far, those masers really did pack a punch. The task force had adapted tactics though, and it showed as another Chiss frigate exploded as a Tenebris cruiser with two frigate supports made a beeline for another space station, landing ships streaming from the frigates towards the airlocks.

"Three are in our possession, another two are being engaged," the commander informed her. "We should control of the rest once the enemy force is destroyed, Lady Arcanix."

"Losses so far?"

"Three Tenebris cruisers, a handful of fighters, and one Dark Blade," the sensor officer said from his station. "Several of our frigates are reporting moderate damage, but are still able to engage the enemy."

"Those masers did more damage than expected," she mumbled. "Have half of our force keep the enemy engaged, begin deploying the main body of our troops near the medical facilities. I shall be joining them."

Striding from the bridge, her dress swirling around her, Taeli made her way to the hanger bay and strode into one of the transports being loaded with Sith troopers. As they launched, Wrath fighters, along with Blades and Darts, escorted the landing ships. Looking out a viewport as they entered the atmosphere, two transports were destroyed by some surface-to-air defenses, but the landing zone was already being established.

The ramp lowered, and Taeli ignited her hand-guarded lightsaber, leading the troops into a swarm of Chiss troops.

"Kill or subdue all military personal, capture all the medical specialists," she ordered, deflecting a maser bolt into the face of a Chiss soldier.

Carliah threw her blade up at the last second to block his attack, though the force behind the blow jarred her wrist and she almost dropped her vibrosword. Rage filled her and she growled at him. Why was he even here? What was his purpose? She realized she didn't care. He wasn't getting away, not this time. No this time she would kill him and no one would interfere.

"Come to face punishment for your sins?" she asked, flashing a smirk at him beneath the blood that coated her face. She forced his weapon to the side and fast as lightning slashed her own blade across his stomach. [member="Memorial"]

Brianne yawned as she followed the woman and leaned her head back in the seat of the transport. Any soldier thinking to talk to her getting a knife at their throat and the words. 'I can handle myself, no go change yourself you wuss.' She loved messing with people like that though she was more interested in seeing the effectiveness of the masers in a live action fight, of course also having a earpiece in with updates from the fleet. "Ah, the sound of death is a bit... boring. Maybe something more fun will come up."

[member="Darth Vivaldi"]

It was his turn to stop her blade now, feet skidding a little as he looked at her blood covered face, shaking his head. "Carliah. Look at you, you can't simply say this is you anymore... your face is covered in blood and all you can think about is killing, what happened to the lost girl, the one i love. Did the Sith really twist your mind into a creature that they want to simply use until you are not useful anymore..." He tried to get through to her again, maybe he could save her and get the carliah he loved back.

Something inside the Mad Queen faltered for just a minute. Her glare softened and her eyes widened as if she was seeing him for the first time. Her words came out as something between a whimper and a gasp,"Y-Yusan?"

She shook her head, trying to clear the conflicting emotions going on within. She growled and tightened her grip on her sword again, madness once again taking her over as she focused on her hatred. Hatred was easy, it was a simple emotion to handle. It didn't require much effort and it fueled her darkside. Hatred made her strong, hatred helped her escape from Vornskr and gain the power she held now. She brought her vibrosword down in an arc, aiming straight for his neck. Yusan had abandoned her, and for that he must suffer. [member="Memorial"]

"STOP IT CARLIAH." He tore a second, smaller blade that her vibroblade came down on, the sound of metal on metal loud as it rang out across the area around them. "What happened to you, i just saw the real you. Please, come back to me, i will always protect you, i will be there for you and i will never let these worms harm you again. You are slaughtering your own people in your madness, do you really want to become a murdering and insane person, remembered only for your crimes on your own people?"

"Carliah is dead. Darth Vivaldi reigns now," Carliah growled as she jabbed her left hand out and punched him in the stomach. She leaped back and brought her vibrosword around around again in a sinister arc, aiming to slice him in half. Part of her was screaming at herself to stop what she was doing, but the Mad Queen suffocated the little voice of reason inside her skull. There was nothing left of the timid street rat Yusan had met in the ally on his walk home. All of the nights spent cuddling and teasing each other, all of the times they had gone into battle together were tainted by the madness ravaging her brain.

To say she didn't care or remember those times were a lie, she remembered them all and they drove her hatred. Her torture had convinced her that every one of those memories was a lie. That Yusan had only used her for his own pleasure and then cast her aside. The small spark of hope for things going back to the way they were before had finally been snuffed out. Carliah was gone. He took the punch to the gut, pausing for a moment not out of shock or pain but to look deeper into her eyes before she then tried to cleave him in half again, his hands stopping the blade with his own two blades again. "Carliah, stop this now, before i am forced to kill you, before i am forced to hurt the only person i have ever loved. Please tell me you have not forgotten what life is like without death, all those times we spent, do they mean nothing to you. Have you given away your heart, simply because the Sith are corrupting you and giving you the power to hurt anyone that challenges you... did they really destroy my love from your memories?" He was trying to get a bit closer now, trying to push his words and mix them with the force, showing her his desperation, his loss, his love, trying to bring back the woman that he loved.

"Shut up... Shut up okay? Just... JUST SHUT UP!!!!" the words came out as a powerful Force Scream. She raced towards him aiming to chop him to bits.

"Everything you ever told me was a lie! You promised to protect me and I still got kidnapped! You didn't save me! You left me to die! All of your words meant nothing to you! You never CARED! I was just a toy! Someone fun to play with but easily discarded like trash. You never gave a damn about me!" Every sentence that left the Miraluka's mouth was punctuated with a stroke of her blade. She was moving faster than lightning as she continued to scream at him. His words were confusing her. His mere presence made her angry. She was feeling things she hadn't felt in a long time. She didn't know how to handle it. So she swallowed the emotions and replaced them with anger. [member="Memorial"]

Taeli twirled her blade, dissipating a maser blast before slicing through the offending soldier's neck, his head bouncing off the ground. The Chiss were putting up a fight, not unexpected given how orderly their entire culture was. She smashed her lightsaber hilt against one soldier's temple, knocking him unconscious immediately.

"Open fire!" a Chis officer yelled, a firing line of Chiss burning through several of her troopers. Scowling, she ignited the second blade of her lightsaber, charging at the line and deflecting blaster fire away from her. They were near one of the main medical facilities, specializing in advanced healing biotechs, something Taeli wanted to make sure her own personal Sithspawn project worked out. A maser beam barely missed her, and her eyes flashed yellow. How dare these Chiss think they could stop her!

"Die!" she screamed, her double-bladed lightsaber eviscerating the commanding officer of the troops, then burning through two of his subordinates. The firing line broke as the female Sith devastated them and her troopers re-opened fire. Lightning lanced out from her other hand, cooking three troopers in their armor and leaving smoking bodies at her feet as she continued to advance into the building. The only two thoughts in her head; capture the workers here, kill every single Chiss soldier she found.

He skidded back but she was still his lesser in a fight, she always was and would be. "THEN WHY AM I HERE, TRYING TO SAVE YOU INSTEAD OF SIMPLY PLUNGING MY BLADE THROUGH YOUR HEART CARLIAH." He glared and stopped her blade each time it came close, first with his saber, then his shortblade, saber, shortblade, alternating and conserving his energy as he needed less movement to block the strikes in this fashion. She was also only drawing her anger, to think the Sith forgot to teach her how to use the pain, and anger, of others to power yourself. For now the more angry she got, the better off he was.

"I'M SICK OF PLAYING YOUR FUCKING GAMES!!!" She didn't let up on her assualt. She could feel herself getting faster and stronger with each strike as she began to draw not only on her own suffering, but that of those around her as well. For the first trying to draw power from those around her wasn't giving her headache. The process usually overwhelmed her mind, but now, with something to direct all of that energy at, she was handling it just fine. She felt lightning crackle around her finger tips and she smirked. Being around Taeli had paid off it seems. She sent a bolt of lightning at Yusan before continuing her assualt with her blade. [member="Memorial"]

[member="Darth Vivaldi"]

He caught the lightning in his blades as the crossed one over the other and he sent it to the side, his glare lessening. "Im not playing with your mind Carliah. If i didn't love you i would not be here, i would not be trying to save you. I would have ordered my men to shoot you, i would have shot you, i would be plunging my blades into your chest, but im not." He was watching her, her abilities improving as they fought and it almost made him proud to see she was now able to defend herself so well... it also made him sad in the sense that in the end of this, one of them would likely be dead because of her fall.

Carliah growled, ignoring the burns left on her hand from blasting him with lightning. She tried a different tactic this time. She leapt back and brought up her empty hand, aiming to Force Choke him this time. She was done with words, they were getting them nowhere. They both knew this would only end in one way, with one of them dead and in the ground. She had a feeling it was going to be him. She focused, drawing on all the suffering going on around her as she aimed to crush the throat of the man she once loved. [member="Memorial"]

A scream resonated through the Force in Jink's mind... It sounded familiar, but twisted, like somebody who was fighting them self. He looked over at where Carliah was, and saw her moving faster than thought. She was clearly trying very hard to destroy something she thought she couldn't. Then he saw the white-haired man, and he took a moment to make an intuitive leap. When understanding shot through his mind, he gritted his teeth angrily. The Fenn guy. If he hadn't felt the pure rage from his mad queen, he would have attacked the man himself. But he couldn't.

Instead, he took the pent-up rage the disturbances between the two gave him, and felt himself flow with power. He reached out to snap the neck of a Chiss sniper who had trained a gun on him. Four chains at once flew from Jink's arms to rip through the plasteel of another man's armor. The pupils of his eyes turned to the slit-like ones of a cat, and the rest turned blood red. He remembered laughing hysterically as the metal links he controlled blasted through yet another soldier. His comrades looked in horror from the chains, to the hole in their ex-friend's chest, to the monstrous creature that was killing them.

Jink's arms raised, and the chains came back to coil over his body like armor.

"All of you are nothing to the Cheshire Warden. You are all corpses, so LIE THE KARK DOWN."

He felt the pressure and reacted instantly, two rocks coming in from two different directions, aiming to break her arm or atleast keep her from continuing the trick and fill her focus with pain instead. Meanwhile he would struggle to continue. "Please Carliah, i love you still, i want you to be safe and i want to be beside you with our children, would you really deny them this simply to fill that void with nothing but madness... are you willing to turn our children into murderers like the sith... like you have become?"
