Swamp Thing

[member="Kiara"]

Dogabah was a great place at times... and sometimes it was annoying as she stood there in the swamps. The research station that had been made from the remains of one of the black hexes was being used just fine and on the edge of the swamp she had been able to work with it. The jedi knight stripped down mostly to form fitted cloths for the water as she was swimming out towards the smaller island in the center of the lake where the phobis device had been set up and used against all of the jedi and forces who had come to stop the harvesters. The small look she gave while coming out fo the water and flipping her hair back said some of it while there was a small chill in the air and her circlet warmed her body letting the sigil glow in the presence of the remains of the ancient device.

Dagobah... A terrible planet, for not so terrible people. Kiara wasn't ever sure what she was. It wasn't good to think about it, either. That only made the stress of living double. She quietly worked at her station, ever growing in her Force powers and knowledge, while never using a bit of it. She chose not to. It was easier to pretend to be stupid. It really was, when you lived in a dirt hut.

Noriko moved in the small island as she was shaking off the wetness from the swamp waters she she felt with the force for some of the energies here. All of their attention went to the larger things around when she saw the trees that had been destroyed befofe she felt something but wasn't sure what it was. Taking a few moments while looking at the water again and swimming in the robes wasn't a very fun prospect as she secured her rebreather and the small fields it created pulled oxygen from the water allowing the jedi to be underwater for near indefinite amounts of time. She was looking at the rest of the things taking the robes and under robes off while she stood there in the undercloths jumping back into the water to swim up the stream she could see.

Kiara kept quiet most days like this. There wasn't much to do, that involved talking about. A hermit wasn't simple, but it sure seemed that way at times. Her hands moved sluggishly, yet calculated and steady. It wasn't a good day when she couldn't slide in a piece without just a second of trouble. Often, that meant something more was on her mind. Kiara's mind raced rapidly though her droid's insides and outs, though not much of her attention was focused around her.
Her signature. Everyone seemed to have one. Her Force signature was amazing, scary, brilliant, and impossible all at the same time. Mixes of dark, light, grey, witch, and others seemed to tie themselves together with pieces of each other, barely containing themselves together.

The water seemed somehow warm and steamy at parts but it was also slimy and cold clinging to her body when Noriko came up in the one area of the mist. Letting the force energies vibrate off of her body to keep some of the creatures away when she was getting up and her bare feet touched the twigs of the swamp. All the work they had been doing while here let her get this chance to explore as she felt one of the branches snag her top the materials little holes snagging it while it tore a little and she frowned. "Dammit." She didn't really know what to do while working on some of branches to get them out. She didn't know what to do now but held the rags of the thing and would have to tell them about that while she was walking and feeling the mud between her toes. It was squelching when she walked slowly moving with some of the force leading her out. Fog thick and clinging to her almost like something she could feel.

It took a few minutes, but Kiara finally sensed it. Someone was coming too close for comfort. She flipped around and stared at the various screens that laid across her dirt wall, peering into it for a good moment in hopes to find where the source was coming from. How curious. Who would be wondering out here without crash landing?

The feeling of the fog and the mud in between her toes as she touched some of the things here and there going over one of the fallen trees. It gave her a number of things rolling the thoughts around in her head. Being out here alone with her thoughts well she didn't socialize with many people so she was used to being alone while the small fixes she had made to her top had it in tatters compared to how it had been but she was small enough it fit with a little under exposed. "Alright what is out in the dark, dank swamp." She rose up jumping back down towards the mud while her ankles had some of it clinging there and she turned a lot of her attention to the really hard parts. She thought she saw something in the fog but wasn't certain while more things came to her before she was standing near a large tree.

This girl was dangerously close, now. Kiara stared at the screen with wide, unblinking lightning blue eyes. After a few minutes, she let out a sigh and went to lazily pack up a single piece of wood under her arm, before taking with her her staff and a piece of food for later. It would be better to appear to be leaving, perhaps. This strange woman didn't seem to come here by accident though.

She could feel something while coming through the trees and looking over some of the things. It looked like a hut but she dind't know anything on the charts this far out. There was the old bunker with a vault they had been able to find. She moved towards the tree trunk and sat down cleaning some fo the caked mudd off of her feet and ankles to at least try and look presentable while she was working with all of it. She could protect herself from sickness with the circlet on her ankle while she was liking the look of everything this far out.

Despite her pulsing signature and inability to hide the obvious, Kiara flung open what seemed to be a stitched together door of broken pieces of wood and one sliver of durasteel, molded in a way which laid better as protection than spare metal. She took just a step out, with her leather boots sunken half an inch into the thick mud that surrounded her home from the recent weather, before stopping and staring at the stranger with a sense of confusion. "This isn't a place for kids."

That was something she wasn't expecting to see out here while she stood with a look on her face. Hopping off the trunk and sinking into the mud a little more form her feet impacting it with a small nod. "You are right, as a jedi I can't leave you out here alone. THings might try to eat you." She offered her a smile though while going over some of the things in her head and aside really from Kei she did not do much else in terms of meeting people.

"Funny. Now leave." Kiara said with a flat tone in her voice, tucking the piece of wood against her armpit again. Kiara didn't know why this woman was here, but her life didn't need any more complications. It just made living harder. Obviously. No one wants a harder life.

Her look at the girl while she moved a little with some of her thoughts. "Ah come on now, we have probes and research teams all across this world and you are one of the few things we don't really know what to do." She had some of the attention on the area around them. "I've been looking thorughout here with some of the things they gave us all but well the swamps are big and thick."

The grumpy hermit slowly sighed and rubbed her eyes with one barely free hand, then looked back to the woman, still unfortunately in front of her form. "You leave me alone, that's what you do. I'm not any research material, got it, Jedi?" Kiara didn't wait for a response, stomping away to gather things in the deeper swamps.

She looked at the woman and remained there for a time watching her go off stretching a little. "Why would I want to research you, there are enough crabs in wha we have already." Maybe not the best but she preferred worlds people didn't really live on in numbers to be nice and explorable instead of filled with grouchy people. "If you just send everyone away you are never going to have any enjoyment in life."

"Unfortunately for the both of us, I don't talk to people who wonder in from who knows where wearing who knows what, whenever they want. Come back when you actually need a droid fixed!" Kiara's form disappeared behind the shadow of a tree, wondering deeper to gather what she could find dry for now.

"Wait so you repair droids.... but no one knows you repair droids.... and you get all crabby of people wondering around and finding you... but you don't have a sign... or like a way to know not to come around..... Hey I am tasting copper." She looked at the woman leaving with a small look. "You aren't like one of those crazy hoodoo force mystics who live in the swamps of planets and drug people who stumble upon them are you. Not going to chain me up for some sacred obscure made up force relgion mating ceremony."

Kiara grumbled, flipping out from behind a tree with her staff well wedged into a piece of clay mud that got stuck in deep. "I do special droids, and you don't have any! Get out of here, you're being useless for my time!" Kiara rambled on, trying to avoid any questions.

"Hmm I am going to take that as a maybe to the naked hoodoo force rituals gotcha." She said it with a smile while moving a little. "And it is not useless to not be a crabby old lady in the swamp, maybe you'd even like you know have more droids to work with if you actually advettied or sought businesses to work with the things. The research teams here on the planet use plenty of droids for exploring the swamps and the vaults the one grandmaster created."

Kiara could feel herself getting angry. A part of herself was that it was forced to be unbalanced at all times, yet continuing to hold each other. It was a crazy thing to be able to do it all at once, and it was painful as well. "I don't want to join any of your businesses, I don't want any of your company, and I don't want to assist you unless you have droids now!"
