DESCRIPTION
Created in the forests and swamps of florn and designed after one of the Lamparoids vehicles the swampa fills the need for an imperial patrol vehicle in places like Florn. After one of the many battles taking place in the remote world of Dagobah, another here in Florn and yet another in Thyferra the message is clear; vehicles for swamp and forest terrain are in demand. Before the empire employed normal speeder bikes but the deep water and nasty terrain proved to be difficult for the scout regiments and so a new prototype was designed. The large size of the Lamparoids gave them to create large speeders to ferry them from point to point in some of the more remote places in Florn and some of these came armed with several guns. They used a primitive helix in the back of their repulsorlift engines for more grip and handling when taking turns at low altitudes in forested waters.
When tested out the helix offered an incredibly powerful upgrade to a normal speederbike when it came down to turning and in the area of patrols where heavily densed swamps housed neighborhoods and sometimes hideouts this was necessary. The Speeder Weapon Emplacement Platform or Swep for short relies on very few fuel and is light enough to ride it's momentum as fast as it can and slow it down to a screeching halt for a stealth patrol on call, their deployment speed is also impressive.
