Swords of Revealing Light - Mandalorian Clans raid on OS Rendili

OOC thread

Cathul not being one to take lightly when challenges do occur, she decided to lead this raid herself. After all, she still was Clan Lok's acting alor'ad - it just seems that administrative procedures within the clan were slow to undertake. She could be confirmed as such if she successfully undertakes a raid in One Sith territory, both as retaliation for Katarr but also for other One Sith insults like one Darth Banshee, her former master. But the challenge came from outside the clan. She prepared her equipment: her beskar'gam, her treasured lightsaber and, for the first time, she would use quantum spells other than mass change. Also she prepared a plan aimed at not only stealing still more schematics for Ringovinda StarYards, but also doing more damage than the pittance dealt on Kuat Drive Yards. Destroying one internal tram station? Not much.

I have a favor to ask of you. I have a plan in place to raid Rendili StarDrive on Rendili but the plan requires you to arrange a meeting with concerning the purchase of the mobile drydock division. Lately Rendili StarDrive has failed to acquire new clients in the mobile drydock division. The real objective is to wreak as much havoc as possible. Normally I would have asked Jessica to help me out, but she seems to be busy somewhere else in the galaxy. You have to remember that the Mandalorian Clans have saved your life back on Kuat, and you owe them one.

The God-General looked over his initiates, the ones who wanted to become his priests. They knelt before him as devotees to their deity, a false deity who was more insane than not. Their races were diverse but all were human or some humanoid variant. Each had served him before in some capacity, as soldiers, support officers, or common warriors. All had come to more than believe that Ardgal was who he claimed to be, they lived for it. They lived for his delight, his honor, his kindness, and his will.

One of the soldiers at the front rose and quietly made his way to his lord, carefully averting his eyes from the armored form to accept robes of purity, robes of the priest that would go with his armor to form the holy array that pleased their lord. He shuffled back to his spot before the god of war and knelt once more. One by one they followed in kind, moving to their lord, accepting their new robes, and shuffling back to their kneeling station.

But it was not a quiet procession. Among them the sound of their voices filled the air with a soft chant, "Your Kingdom come. Your will be done. Your kingdom come. Your will be done. Your kingdom come, your will be done."

These were not just words of wrote murmured with a half heart. They were shouted with the gusto of warriors who meant it. Warriors willing to do whatever it too to cause it. Because they believed it more than anything else.

Ardgal regarded each of his devotees with a warm kindness as they approached him humbly. For each he felt a paternal love, a deep, protective care. He would make their faith well-earned and well deserved.

A long, long time ago when the young warrior was a sith and the not so long ago when he abandoned the sith title and returned to his Ori'vod he had been a mighty warrior and general under the slug lord of the sith. A fat and disgusting creature that ate everything that he had ever gotten close to and had been the down fall of the Empire. That time seemed ancient long ago and that time was separated by time spent in Despair and countless galactic threats from gods only knew where. Arumi Zy Bralor, was a destroyer and a warrior a business man and a drunk and by all accounts a wild card that could only be trusted to kill things and people.

He grew bored easily and rarely did he join the cause of a young upstart prefering the skill and experience of the older Ori'vod to bring him more battles. Though today he had decided to assist a witch blooded twilek of the clans and he half wondered if she would succeed or fail in her efforts. Her plan was far to technical then he liked preferring a full scale assault to trickery but he would give her her chance to shine and to prove to him, herself and the rest of the mandos that she was a capable young one.
