Deflector shield.
Heavy Cannon capable of damage against armor. Cannon accurate due to targeting system.
Secondary cannon useful against infantry.
Tank can switch off targeting and repulsorlift for high-damage strike.
Overdrive on any system.

Weaknesses: Rather slow, and weak repulsorlift. Slows down to fire.
Secondary cannon operator has weak shielding.
Battery is small due to space in vehicle, so power efficiency low.
Weak against on-contact explosives.
Deflector shield takes long time to recharge.
Long recharge on any offline system after overdrive.

Description: After joining with Meran Mechanics, the Duros Candez Stoon who originally only made weapons decided to expand on his horizons and design a tank. He went for something cheap, something that could be used by small factions or governments for planetary security. Something rather simple. So he designs the T-101 Battle Tank.

Armed with one heavy laser cannon and an E-WEB repeating blaster, this vehicle is useful in numbers against small forces, like pirates. On an open battlefield it is an easy target, being slow. The turret however can turn easily, and with the targeting system and repulsorlift it makes for a good defense in cities, where there is much cover for the tank to use.

The tank only has a deflector shield to protect itself, but the shield is weak above. This leaves it open from aerial attacks, or ambushes from building floors above.

One thing the tank can do is overdrive certain aspects. For example, it can shutdown repulsor and shield for a powerful blast. Or, it can shut down the shields and cannon for a quick boost to escape combat. Doing this however leaves the deactivated systems on recharge for some time, only the overdrived system being active.

A very straightforward repulsortank (the best kind of tank). Your strengths and weaknesses in particular are nicely thought out and balanced, well done.

Squadron count for tanks can be a bit tricky. I tend to use modern Armor Company organization as a guideline. That gives 4 tanks for a platoon, with three or four platoons plus a Headquarters element for a whole company. But for a tank like the one you've got, I'd roll with either 8, 10, or 12, depending on how common you expect it to be. Given that you mentioned this is to be marketed towards 'small factions' I think 8 would be appropriate.

Just add that in and you should be good to go.
