DESCRIPTION

The T3-B Breaching Tac Pod is a slightly enlarged version of the T2 Tac Pod, with enhanced shield generators and a breaching door on its ventral side. Defenses have been enhanced to allow the shuttle to endure enemy fire while approaching for a boarding action. It is also armed sufficiently well to support troops in a ground action.

It is mass produced for corporate security forces to allow them to move troops to hotspots where criminal activity must be suppressed. It is also purchased by some planetary defense forces and even small nation states who can not afford to field starfighters, shuttles, and gunships- and so must have a single platform to perform all of these roles. The pod is designed to integrate well into Gozanti carrier docking pads and the specialized docking points of Corporate Troop Carrier ships.
