Take Off The Mask

[member="Alric Kuhn"]

Her jaw fell, and for a second she believed him. Then she caught the devilry in his cobalt gaze, the smirk dancing on his lips.

"You rake!" She said, smacking his shoulder playfully for his tease. "You just want to bait me into a reaction!" She would not fall for his tricks! A slight push would nudge him back a bit, and his smirk only grew wider. Regardless of what she claimed, Danger had already fallen for his tease.

A glance around would wonder just what else was within the apartment.

"You might as well give me the full two credit tour..." The way she sounded made it seem that perhaps she was expecting more abstract and odd surprises from Alric's past.

There actually was a vibrating bed, but maybe he would leave that as a surprise for later tonight.

A sly grin passed over his face, and slowly he pressed Danger forward, beginning to lead her through the apartment. It wasn't as large as the one the two of them had come to call home, but it was quite big for a college home. There were two more rooms besides the master bedroom, both of them containing smallish beds and the same decorative style as the main room. Interestingly enough both of those rooms contained games of some sort, either air ball or another electronic game. The bathrooms were more lavish then the rooms, holding the same original marble as well as large rainforest showers.

The Master Bedroom was decorated in an oddly more tame fashion, no naked women decorating the walls, and there was no sign of games within the room. Instead a large holo-screen plastered one side of the room entirely, opposite the bed of course. Beside the bed was a single nightstand with an odd lamp on it that resembled a twi'leks leg. The bed itself was hanging from the ceiling, large color changing wires hooking into the frame, suspending it from the floor. "Like it?"

Alric said with a smile, flipping a switch so that the wires began to shift through a rainbow of colors.

It was as if someone decided to decorate the hovering bed with a medley of LIfeday lights. A burst of cobalt, canary, magenta, indigo…. It just went on and on.

Frankly, Danger had no frellin’ clue how to take it in.

Like it?! She wasn’t sure how to process it. So she stood there, flabbergasted. Having never experienced the university life herself, this was all strange to her -- and she’d seen her fair share of strange running the Guildhouse. However, Alric seemed to be all smiles and reminiscing. She couldn’t quite break it to him that this was just…

Well she had no words for it.

The corners of her mouth gave a slight upward perk; yup that smile was her trademark go to cordial smile. Nod and smile, Danger. Just nod and smile.

“It’s…”

Would they really sleep on that?

“...interesting.”

It wasn’t that she wasn’t happy to share in his past. This particular time had been one they hadn’t discussed ever before. There were still bits and pieces of the Tetan she didn’t know about. This was another. This was new.

This was… Well, she was still looking for the words. If it was his desire to keep her mind elsewhere or throw her off from fretting too much about meeting Lily or Rose soon, he was successful at it. Right now, that bit of worry didn’t register as the oddly hypnotising color change around the hovering bed made her blink all the more.

“Hungry?” her head swiveled so fast, looking at the Tetan.

“I’m famished.”

He smiled.

Alric knew that this would be strange for her, but it was part of his life. A distant part, mind you, but it had been a part nonetheless. He remembered having good times in this apartment, he remembered having bad. Most of his sorrows had been drowned here. It had been the first time he had been away from home, the first time he had been away from his father. He remembered that feeling of independence, doing what he thought was best for himself and not for others.

"Well." Alric said as he stepped around her, running his fingers over her hips and stopping in front of her. "We could make Pizza."

He had had the entire apartment stocked before they arrived, and given that they didn't have a stove. "I assure you, it's one of the only skills I retained from my years here."

Perhaps there was a lack of truth in that, he didn't actually know if he still could make Pizza...but it would be fun to try. The two of them needed that in their lives, needed fun. Alric had slowly been injecting that bit of truth into their lives. First it had been in the stronghold, then it had been at the apartment. Now it would be here before they met the girls tomorrow. The least he could do for Danger is relax her.

Danger blinked slowly. Is this the part where the whole, never had pizza before in her life comes out? Ah, how to say this...

"I don't know how to make it." she said. Okay honesty is the best policy right? If anything, that was true; she didn't know how to make it. After all, she never had it before. So how was she supposed to make it?

Thankfully, Alric elaborated that he at least knew how to make it, the press of his fingers settling along her hips. This was all so strange.

She scrunched up her brow, frowning. It seemed she wasn't too sure of that proposal. Who could blame her, she never had the meal before...

"And I've never had it."

Well, might as well be upfront about it, she mused, biting her lower lip.

His eyebrows steadily rose on his forehead as Danger kept speaking.

She had never had Pizza? Did they not have it on Tatooine? Did they...well no he had seen it there, he swore he had seen it there. At least some kind of flat bread, flat bread was common around the entire galaxy. Yes, there was no way that Tatooine didn't have some sort of pizza, he was sure of it. Suddenly he realized that his face had become rather contemplative, as if he were an old man pondering something from his past...which he was but that little detail escaped him.

"Well, my heart." Suddenly his arms wrapped around her and he pulled her close. "You're in for a culinary treat."

If he could remember how to make it. "Come on."

Suddenly Alric planted a solid smooch on her lips, grinning slightly and then gliding away from her while wrapping one of her hands in his own. The old man tugged her along as he headed towards the kitchen.

It was a quick, wet peck, but one of the more affectionate ones. Much like a younglin giving a kiss, all emotion and no real finesse. But it only endeared the Tetan to Danger, and she couldn't help but mirror his smile. His joy, his excitement, the way that he genuinely simply wanted to now have her experience this 'culinary treat' with him made her feel warm.

Loved.

"Alright," she said, bringing a hand to rub his arm with a sweep of her hand. His fingers interlaced with hers, tightening slightly as he led her from the master bedroom back towards the kitchen. There were other curious curios along the walls, more posters of half dressed women sprawled across speedsters speeders. There were two more rooms from what she gathered, and a brief glance to the refresher as they ambled on by said they were rather spacious.

"Am I overdressed for the task?" she would as with mild humor at the man, half joking and half serious. She was, after all, in a dress.

And whenever that required cooking, she normally had something on to ensure she didn't get food everywhere.

He escorted Danger to the Kitchen, his hands immediately left her and began to search throughout the room for the things he would need. Alric found that he had indeed gotten the kitchen pre-stocked with everything he needed, and in fact the service had been kind enough to even get him several kinds of flour instead of just one. It really shouldn't have amazed him given that the building this apartment was in had been full service since before he had been alive, one of the major perks that had come with living here.

"Hmm?" The Tetan said sticking his head out from beneath the cabinets.

His eyes wandered over Danger's dress, a small smirk carrying on his lips as he stood to his full height and wandered over to her.

"I'm afraid so." Fingers slipped onto her hips and sneaked behind her back. "This will be a rather messy business, and this dress is very nice. We wouldn't want it to get ruined."

The sound of a zipper could be heard.

"Is that right?" Danger would chuckle out, eyebrows high. Her head went tipping back, drinking in the slight crooked grin of the Old Tetan, the whisper of fabric rustling with the brush of his hand.

"You are so thoughtful, Mistah Kuhn," she'd tease, but it was nothing compared to the surprise that would beheld Alric then. Soft and delicate, spun from the gossamer strands of the rarest of vine silk, black lace would hug full curves like a second skin. Rare sight indeed, for the Queen of Trade, and it was evident in the flash of devilry in her eyes.

"Pity I'm a bit overdressed for the occasion, hmm?" oh there was that undercurrent of sass, of daring.

Granted that was about the time that Danger caught sight of the poster to the far wall, by the double ovens. It was as tall as her, holographic, and gave a simple message.

As the dress fell to the floor Alric raised his eyebrows.

It was an unusual surprise, though one that was not unwelcome. He smiled, no, smirked. His lips tugged into a wide arch, his eyes settling on her form as they slowly panned down. His arms came back up, gently looping around the small of her back before sliding slightly lower in a rather cheeky grasp of his fingers. He lifted her slightly with that grip, pulling her tightly against himself and pressing her close.

"Well." Alric said, his voice stern. "I guess we'll just have to do something about that."

Slowly his grip released, his fingers uncurling and smoothing over her rear. "Would you care for a drink, my dear?"

There was a bar here, though it would likely surprise Danger.

[member="Alric Kuhn"]

"Will you join me?" she would counter, a slight lift and perch would settle the vixen beside the counter. A small sway of her leg, and a tug of his shirt drew him closer. Oh, he was enjoying the view, enough to forget about the pizza making for the present time. None the less, both were still hungry.

"Or are you apt to sit it out again?" she teased, her lips quirking up with mild humor. Alric and alcohol never mixed well. It didn't even take a full glass to get him sloshed, a light-weight that he was along with his alcohol allergy. Comical, really, but not something that would hold him back in any social.

Fingers went dribbling across his chest, sweeping over his shoulder. Gently, she coaxed him out of his jacket. "A lady should never drink alone..." adding with mischief in her eyes. "Unless this pizza requires your undivided --" her knee gave a slight sway to the right " attention?"

He considered for a moment. "Well, it wouldn't be a true pizza experience unless I did join you."

It may not have taken him a lot to get drunk, but he had done so often enough while in college. Drunken Pizza nights had been some of the most enjoyable nights he had ever experienced...albeit it was a different kind of enjoyment. Here and now...this was nostalgia mixed with romanticism. Alric never thought those two things would have gone together, but with Danger...maybe it was necessary. She had never experienced the kind of life he had had, maybe it was time she did.

His hands tightened on her behind again, and suddenly she would find herself lifted into the air.

It was a quick and sudden jerk to pull her up and then simply place her on the counter top. He grinned at, kissing her as his hands slipped down her outter thighs.

[member="Alric Kuhn"]

The suction of air cut the distance between them, warmth replacing the cool feel of air as Alric drew close. Tipping her head back, auburn hair sweeping off the soft curve of her shoulders, Danger lifted her face up to meet his. A matching crooked salacious grin set upon those crimson lips, and soon the jacket he wore was skillfully slid off his shoulders and arms. Set to the side, he now stood in his button up shirt and slacks, wearing that cocksure grin and staring down at her with sapphire eyes that did wicked things to her in turn.

"You've shocked me, Mistah Kuhn," her voice fell an octave, thickening in pleasure and edge with intrigue in between their kisses. A nip of her jaw, a trace of her neck. At this rate, they'll settle a different hunger entirely. And truth be told, Danger knew well what she did bedecked so. It thrilled her. His reaction, the attention he gave, how he made her feel.

Wicked.

"Where's your decanter?" she queried in a low hush, moving beside his ear as she pressed lingering kisses along his jaw and beside the lobe of his ear.

He grinned.

University had always predominantly meant one thing and one thing alone, alcohol. Even Alric had partaken in it during his stay, and of course he had only ever bought the good stuff. His lips pressed against her neck, his teeth gently sticking into her neck. Danger shook for half a moment, and Alric simply pressed his lips against her once again. "I think you'll find I'm full of surprises Miss Arceneau."

His hands slipped down her thigh, gently caressing for a moment for moving away from her skin and onto the hard surface of the counter top. For a moment he slipped his fingertips on the underside of the counters lip, exploring until he found a small red button. A smile, one more kiss, then he pressed it. For a moment and a half nothing happened, then a slight whirring noise could be heard directly behind Danger. The noise was silent, but clearly a motor being activated.

A patch of the shag carpeting began to raise itself up, slowly rising to reveal a shelf with more kinds of alcohol than Alric could name.

Well that was one way to surprise Danger.

In fact, that prompted a notable laugh, bubbling up and echoing around the duo. "Just what other surprises do you have Alric Kuhn?" she'd exclaim in amusement, shaking her head a bit as her attention drifted towards the exposed bar shelf an the available alcoholic drinks.

"Mmm... just what are you itching for?" she'd continue, chuckling low as Alric pressed another kiss along her collar bone. "I'm partial to my whiskey...as you were partial to mine if I recall correctly." Danger made reference to the first time they met, when he had taken her glass of Corellian whiskey and downed it without a by your leave.

The arrogance of the man, she thought, recalling in mild humor.

He smiled at her.

The bar contained pretty much any drink that one could imagine. Rum, Whisky, ale, he was pretty sure there was even some tequila from one of the outer rim worlds that produced it, though he wasn't sure how old that actually was. The smile on his lips perked up, his hands slowly sliding up her thighs once more, nails gently digging into her skin. "Well I wouldn't know where to begin."

His words were like honey.

"I'm not an expert in these things." A kiss planted on her neck. "I'm afraid you'll have to guide me."

[member="Alric Kuhn"]

He was certainly distracting.

A rush of goosebumps rose in the wake of the pressure of his fingers, an electric shiver running down Danger’s spine. At this distance she could smell the heady scent of the former Titan, unique along with the faint chocolate cherry taste of the vaporizor he used. It lingered on his shirt, the pristine white crisp against the brush of her fingers, loops breaking free of buttons with a flick.

“A one on one lesson?” her nose gave a slight mischievous crinkle, the brush of the tip of it searching along the lobe of his ear.

“That may take a lifetime to cover all applicable combinations and options.” she teased, hands sailing south to flirt with the line of his belt.

“Might not get to them all ‘fore you kick the bucket.” another chuckle, the jingle and clink of a buckle. “But whiskey proper might just do fine.”

Danger then gave a slight push back for him to give her some room, a coy grin drawing over her lips and a rather satisfied expression.

“How about you get it for me?”

He smiled. "I suppose I could do that, but I'm afraid that it will cost you."

After all, nothing was free.

A grin washed over his face as he slipped away from her and gave her no time at all to argue with him. Instead he wandered over to the bar, moving over the shag carpeting. As he did so Alric kicked off his shoes, sending them flying halfway across the room and into an old statue that had been sitting there. It made a slight 'clunk' noise as he struck it, though he hardly seemed to care even as the thing nearly fell over onto its side. He grinned, and grasped a cold glass from the bars underside.

He gave a brief glance at the alcohol on the shelf, eventually selecting what he recognized as top shelf whisky. Slowly, almost painfully so, he poured the drink for Danger, admiring her upon the counter as he did. Then the Tetan wandered back towards Danger, smiling at her and slowly rounding the counter to wrap his fingers around her hip. Slowly he pulled her towards him, planting a heavy kiss on her lips and using his free hand to gently caress her as the glass onto the counter.

[member="Alric Kuhn"]

"And just what will that price be, Mistah Kuhn?" Danger would coo, tilting her head back as she arched an eyebrow at the Old Tetan. A leg would inch forward, curling round to draw him closer as she returned his kiss. A small bump of her nose against him in a tease and then she continued her survey of what was left on the Old Tetan.

"I'm a woman of means," her hands went sailing to tug at the leather of a belt. "I am sure I can offer plenty you might find of worth." it was a small game, and it appeared that 'pizza' was gone from the menu, at least for the present time.

It was enough to give her a slight chuckle.

One arm looped around the small of her back, his hand settling on her hip and he slowly began to draw her closer towards himself.

"Well." He began as his lips moved to press against her lips, then trail down the side of her cheek and towards her neck. "You may have to stretch some of those resources."

The words were punctuated with a sinking of his teeth and a pulling of her body. The cold glass in his hands would press against supple, waiting flesh, his lips would gently close on her neck, and his chest would push against hers. Any thought of food was already forgotten, though the idea of keeping Danger entertained and free of troubling thoughts had not been.

In the end, that was all that mattered.
