At [member="Darth Amortarus"]' words, Calix rushed to the nearest seat, pulled the seatbelt over his head and attached it to the lower piece.

I have a bad feeling about this, he thought, glancing over at the droid who had also followed the Sith's instructions. It was uncanny how accurately how his appearance had been replicated.

I wonder if... Calix touched his eye-patch for a brief moment as the ship dodged its pursuers.

No, his shook his head. Now was not the time to wonder about such things.

Clinging to the arms of his seat, Calix braced himself, the ship was about to land at any moment. His heart racing, the boy closed his eyes and scrunched up his face until the ship stopped moving and the Sith had returned.

“Everyone relatively intact?”

"Yup," Calix frowned as he unbuckled himself and picked up the lightsaber he had previously chosen. He was more confident with his trusty revolver but according to the Sith, this was the superior weapon. With both weapon having its own pros and cons, Calix paused for a moment to consider his choice of weapon then removed the revolver from his waistband and replaced it with the lightsaber. His revolver had yet to fail him.

As the boarding ramp lowered, Darth Amortarus stepped out onto the surface of Mimban. He had never much liked the place; a strange, moist feeling hung in the air, not least because of the humidity. The Force here was not Light or Dark. It was primal and wild, hard to tame and harder to use. He would have to be careful here, if only a little cautious. Scanning his environment for any threats, the Sith noted that the ground was soft and soggy, almost like firm mud. A horrible rush of alarm over took him. “We’re in a peat bog,” he whispered to himself. Carefully, he turned to see that the front end of the Force Phantom was already becoming submerged in the filthy swamp, the mushy soil sucking it down into the earth.

Looking down at his own legs, Amortarus was surprised to see that he had not sunk past his ankles. Cautiously he tested the ground beneath his feet and found that he was standing on a large rock. Knowing that any peat that had held him even long enough for him to walk here would be strong enough to hold the boy and droid, he called to them. “Calix! TC-SC! Get out now, the ship is sinking!” Even as he said it, he used the Force best he could, leaping atop the sinking Force Phantom and pushing it further down as he landed haphazardly on top of it.

A peat bog? What in Ashira's name was that? Calix had begun to wonder before noticing he was slowly sinking. Well, fudge.

Disgusted by the muck that had attached itself to his shoes, Calix dragged himself out as the bog at the Sith's call.

"These were my best shoes," he grumbled, removing a tissue from his pocket and wipe them until they were mostly clean. "So, what are we going to do here?" the boy frowned. The sooner this outing was over, the better. He was beginning to miss the luxuries he had so often taken for granted.

"Please tell me there is a hotel of some sort here," Calix frowned. It didn't look likely buy once could always hope. "I only have one set of clothes and want to continue to look respectable," he complained and took his gun off safety. The more he looked at his surroundings, the less he liked them.

"What's your goal here?" If the Sith was going to play games with him, he should at least know what it was.

“There are no hotels here. And don’t expect your clothing to stay too clean. We'll be wading through lots of filthy marshes and such.” Amortarus looked around, annoyed by the boy's apparent lack of care for anything but his appearance. TC-SC climbed out of the ship, clambering up its side to stand by the Isth. “Master Amortarus, perhaps we should attempt to locate whatever it is you came here for,” the droid suggested. “We have nothing else to go on, at least from what information you’ve shared with me.”

“Fear not, my short companions,” Amortarus said, igniting his orange vented lightsaber and throwing it at a nearby tree. It carved a wide crescent through the leaves, cutting loose several vines in the process. Tossing some of the long vine ends to Calix and handed another few to TC-SC, Amortarus began to tie the vines around himself, forming a sort of harness. “The trees will serve as a safe method of transport. Climb up these vines. We can get out of this bog of false ground.”

Calix frowned. He was not fond of the idea of dirtying his clothes but it seemed he had no choice. At least this will make my story more believable.

"Fin-," he started as the droid spoke. Locate what he came for? He paused and frowned again as [member="Darth Amortarus"] spoke.

"Climb up the vines?" Calix did not hide the displeasure in his tone. Physical education was one of his worst and least favorite subjects. Like hell he was going to climb up the vines like some wild animal!

Grabbing hold of the vines, Calix tied them tightly around his waist then swung from them until his was hanging from the trees the vines had originated from and placed his feet on the trunk. Now ready, the boy began to walk up the tree with the assistance of the vines, pulling them tighter with each step he took.

"nerf herder..." he muttered as he scaled the tree.
