Taking a Load Off

Three years before

Uyia had just tracked another one of her targets, counting one more off her list. She had been on a spree recently, having just acquired her ship from Valkyrie. Well, more like stole, but that was besides the point. She had just got the target on some backwater planet, shot him in the head while he ran off towards a fuel depot. Rookie mistake, don't run in a straight line, you'll get shot. Still, she was tired from a run of 2 days being fully awake chasing this guy, so she needed to relax. The best, and only, place in the town was a small cantina, so it was where she strolled herself off to.

Walking into the main Cantina, she noticed just how small it was. Only a few tables, plus the bar and a pole in the middle, probably for a dancer. Only a few other patrons were inside, noticing her in her crimson Mandalorian armor, but not making much of a ruckus. She didn't mind. She sat down at the bar, calling the bartender over to get a drink, before pulling off her helmet. Sure, there was light inside, but it was dim and dusty. Much easier to see without the helmet on, considering it was being glitchy again. She needed to fix it soon. The bartender finally arrived to her seat

"I want a whiskey, now. If I don't get it, I'll probably shoot you."

She wasn't in the mood to wait, she needed that drink. Maybe even a show, if there was a dancer in the building. She had no idea why anyone of their own free will would dance here, so it probably was some sort of slave dancer. Disgusting behavior, if her guess was correct. Still, she would get her whiskey, a calm resting back onto Uyia as she looked back to the pole.

"You stupid poodoo eating scum!" A deep voice cursed. Lyn felt a hard slap across her face, strong enough to make her loose her balance and fall to the floor. Looking up Lyn'ara saw the owner and bartender of Brix's R&R. Her master. And judging from the slap Brix did not seem happy to see her. "Another one of those blasted bounty hunters are here again! Making threats and bringing in weapons! Get out there and entertain her or so help me.." The tall man lifted her off the floor and grabbed her by the face making her look into his eyes as she struggled against him. "You will pay for it again tonight!" Lyn could almost taste the alcohol on his breath as let go of her letting her fall to the floor. He then walked over her and grabbed a bottle of whisky and headed out the door.

Lyn couldn't believe it. Her life was horrible here. Dancing in that small area, living under a leaky pipe in the back unable to drink any of the substance. And Brix.. her master. A married man who never let his wife into his establishment. If she found out he had a young slave, and a dancer at that locked away in the back she would leave him. Brix was an awful, disgusting, fat man with no morals. In fact Lyn was sure he cheated the bet to win her from her previous master. She stood up and brushed herself off, going to the small space in the back with a mirror and a tiny bit of makeup she could use to cover up the hit on her face.

After she was done freshening up she walked out of her small room and instantly knew who the bounty hunter was. All eyes turned on her. She awkwardly walked to the small music playing device and turned on a song she could dance too. It was slow and meant to make dirty thoughts and dirty feelings arise. She strutted off the pole and slide a blue leg around it and began her routine. Occasionally looking back at the bounty hunter as time went on.

In the bad lighting, it wasn't easy to make out features of the bounty hunter. However, what was easy to see were her green eyes watching the dancer. They was a gaze to them, both interested but also...disgusted? It seemed like a weird dichotomy, hard to pinpoint exactly what was happening in Wryss' thoughts from the outside. The right side of her head was also noticeably shaved off, but her other features weren't easily made out.

Uyia herself was...well, she was partially enjoying watching the dance, the lighting above the pole being better than other parts of the cantina. Still, her thoughts were drifting to the thought that the dancer in front of her was a slave. She also wasn't of a species Uyia recognized, the back of the dancers head being of great note. Uyia would drink from the glass given to her, glancing over at the owner of the bar. She scowled before returning her gaze to the dance.

Lyn slide up and down to the beat. Walking around the pole and using hip movements to get cheers and whistles from the crowd. She wore a thin white two piece outfit that Lyn was sure used to be something Brix's wife used when their marriage was happy. It slipped and slide being almost two sizes to big. She would constantly have to halt the dance to pull up her top or bottoms. Occasionally it would slip to far and the audience would get and eyeful, cheering loudly as her face went beat red and she tried to correct the mistake. Her life consisted of dancing, striping, and rarely serving customers on the days when she was lucky or Brix had family friends coming.

The music ended and she slide slowly down the pole and landing on her feet gracefully having been holding herself up at the top. She took a bow and smiled as the small crowd within the cantina clapped and cheered walking up to the tip box and throwing in spare credits. This world was as back water as any Lyn had ever been too. They lived in a small star port area, the most heavily populated on the planet in fact. Nearly 20000 people living in the small port city. This planet was the result of a failed attempt to settle it. But the locals fought back until the colonials fighting them had enough and drew a line in the sand. Most of the men that would come were veterans from fighting the indigenous tribal races. Most were kind. But others were cruel like Brix. She stood under the bright light of the pole with a grin on her face. Catching the green glare from the bounty hunter and holding eye contact.

Uyia would simply watch as she [member="Lyn'ara Okemi"] finished up, taking in the dance as it went on. She would end off the whiskey in her glass, placing it to the side. She was unarmed, which was finally seen as the hunter moved, meaning any previous threats weren't backed by anything. Though, her gauntlets were bigger than the rest of her armor.

Uyia would call over the owner, asking him about the dancer, mainly to see if she could talk to her. She wanted to figure out this situation, mainly why the dancer would even be in this dump. Maybe unwind a bit as well, she hadn't exactly gotten that chance for a good amount of time. Though, would a place like this even have a private room? It wasn't exactly the type of place that wouldn't but Uyia wasn't sure where it would be. An exit strategy is always useful to have, so knowing that information would be better before she did anything.

She saw Brix walk over to the woman in the armor. She heard him say. "Room in the back. 500. She sure is.." But then he came over. His face looking as if he was about to stuff his face with a feast. Her grabbed her arm and held her tightly. "You got over there.. you do whatever that woman wants you to do. I don't care if it is painful. I don't care if it makes you uncomfortable. If she tells you to be a dog and walk on all fours you do it, blast it!" He spoke in a harsh whisper. "You just make sure you get as many credits from that one as possible. Because I swear.. I will make it worse for you if you give up on this!" He leg go of her arm and aggressively pushed her towards the woman in the armor.

"Hello darling. That nice man over there said you had need of me.." She said, suggestively lifting her thumb to her mouth and biting the end of it. "What can this blue girl do to make you happy" Lyn wanted to throw up. The lines she had been taught and forced to use made her realize just how dumb Brix was. No off-worlder was going to fall for an act this fake. But for her sake.. she hoped this one would.

Uyia noticed the aggression towards the dancer given by the owner. It angered her, quite a bit. She may have come to relax, but that certainly didn't include watching as someone abused this woman. Might be better if she could get into a room with her.

She watched the dancer come towards her, unphased by the scripted lines. However, she did decide to throw her a bone to make her current "employer" happy. She put on a fake smile and excited voice, though there was a blade to every word she spoke. Her eyes glistened and shined, yet a fire was behind that. A burning crusader's mark could be seen on the right side of her head. Despite the small details that marked acting, it would be hard to pinpoint that she was faking anything.

"Hi there! I just completed a bounty, and now I had sooooo many credits to use on whatever I feel! Obviously, the only way to do that is to have some fun with a dancer, wouldn't you agree? What was it, 1000 credits for a private dance? Where is the room we use~?"

She disliked putting her intelligence down like this, but it is all for the show. Get in the room, have a good time, and figure out if there is a way to get her out of this place. Boom, solid plan. Hopefully the owner wouldn't notice her...ulterior motives.

[member="Lyn'ara Okemi"]

She blushed. How in the know galaxy did that work? She didn't let her shock change her look. The amount of credits offered was.. more then Brix could hold onto at a time. "I Well what kinda fun are you looking for? And.. I am honored you think I am worth that much but.." She stopped hearing Brix words. "You just make sure you get as many credits from that one as possible. Because I swear.. I will make it worse for you" She shivered. "But the room is a bit small for that much. And I charge extra for touching" She winked.Trying desperately to recover from her slip up "Maybe for an extra 200" She licked her lips.

The back room used to be a broom closet. But when Lyn was bought Brix no longer needed to hire cleaning so those were moved to where Lyn slept. This broom closet was not sound proofed very well so Lyn needed to make the music loud and sometimes awkward in order for the guest to enjoy it. Depending on what kinda dance this woman wanted would decide what kinda music to play. And whether to lock the door or not.

[member="Uyia Wryss"]

Well, it seemed her acting fooled the woman in front of her. The dancer seemed agitated slightly to Uyia, and very awkward in how she spoke. A slip up here or there was noticeable to her, though she didn't let it show. Her face simply kept up that tone of excited to have some fun with the Dancer, a dumb look sort of thing.

"What, is that too much for someone as Beautiful as you are? Well, I can lower my price, I'm simply looking for the most...enjoyable experience~. Top of the line, if you will~"

Despite how she sounded to anyone listening, every word she spoke did make her feel as though she spit toxin. How anyone could believe the crap coming from her mouth, she would never know. Still, it was working on the dancer, so that was all that mattered. As the dancer started to move to the "room", she would follow, tripping slightly. Might as well add to the act.

Looking in the room, she noticed that it was...tiny. Like it would be used for anything but private shows. It was dusty too, with leaks above. Did the Dancer sleep here or something? Damned place to be, if she did. Uyia would pull off her gauntlets as she entered the room, slowly locking the door behind her. Would be easier to talk if no one would barge in while they do.

"Well this is...cozy. So, is this where you give patrons a good time~?"

[member="Lyn'ara Okemi"]

"Oh yeah. Great times in here.. but.. I think you might be the first I will enjoy" She dropped the flirty fake tone and leaned over the start the music. She awkwardly adjusted the volume and turned to the armored lady. "Call me Lyn.. " She slowly began to sway. Bopping up and down to the beat, doing her best to keep her two-sises-too-big outfit from falling off her as she did.

"So what kinda dance are you looking for? Something slow? Something fast? Something.. with more blue perhaps?" She giggled putting her hands on the woman's knees as she sat down and getting their faces close together. The girl was far too good looking to be here for any reason but business, and the armor she was wearing was top notch. Much better then anything on this planet.

[member="Uyia Wryss"]

Well, it seemed that Lyn was dropping her fake tone, so Uyia dropped it herself. The happy go lucky attitude faded, replaced with the more calm and solemn look that she had earlier. She pulled off her arm armor, just to be less threatening to Lyn. Under the armor pieces was a body suit, probably to hold all the pieces together and at least have some protection underneath.

"Oh? What's this more blue idea you have? Let's try that."

Uyia was still hard to read, with those blades being more pronounced on each word. Her face was perfect, not a scar or damage anywhere on it, yet she had that aura of battleworn. She raised an eyebrow, looking the dancer up and down. The pieces she had on, the very little there was, weren't just big, but were huge in comparison to the girl. She was such a weird species, Uyia had never seen anyone like her.

[member="Lyn'ara Okemi"]

"Alright. More blue it is" She said in a happy whisper. With that she stood straight up and slide her arms through the straps around her neck and put her arms up in the air. With the looseness of the outfit it slipped right off her chest and fell the ground. She cupped the bare skin and held it out. "Is that enough blue for you?" She grinned and got closer and began to do a slow dance.

She would spin, drop, and bend with grace as she compensated for the small space, trying to keep the armored lady entertained as she did so. She winked and licked her lips after the next song started. "I know.. it must be strange seeing a Liran with these parts. I am an anomaly to my race. Most of us don't have reproductive organs after years of evolving with our technology... but I do." Her thumbs slipped into her bottoms and she slide them off. Standing bare in front of the woman with a large smile.

[member="Uyia Wryss"]

Uyia was certainly getting what she asked for, as she looked over the dancer more. She was entertained, yes, but she was partially looking for bruising over Lyn's body as well. Something to get angry about. Other than that though, she was enjoying her time in the room. It was surprising that she was so open to remove the outfit without a problem, though she flicked that thought from her mind quite quickly.

"Well, it certainly adds more blue. I do have a question: What is a Liran? Never heard of them"

Uyia would remove her gloves, allowing her skin to breath while the Liran watched the dance. She noticed water drip on Lyn every so often, the pipe work not helping anything. Her armor was at this point easy to remove, what with the locking mechanisms being disabled, thought she wasn't removing it yet herself. She simply continued to watch, not yet getting more physical with the dancer.

[member="Lyn'ara Okemi"]

She swung her hips and body quickly to one side then the same to the other. She smiled at the question, one she got quite often in her life. "We are an old race. Old enough that with our biology found a way to keep the minds of our people intact through cloning. Because we would only clone however we stopped reproducing naturally. It became more of an exotic thing that many had to pay for to experience then a necessity. Less and less clones however were made with reproductive organs. My mother being one of them I think.. Either way she managed to get them to work and a few months latter I popped out. The first natural born Liran in generations." She grinned watching as she took off the armor. "However.. it does make me nervous. Because my biology is so strange compared to my people there are no doctors or medics who could figure out what is wrong if something.. went wrong.. if that makes sense."

Uyia wasn't super interested in touching at that moment, so she shook her head. She continued to look for anywhere that may be bruised, trying her hardest to find those marks. She smiled, happy to relax a bit after doing work for such a long period of time. The door was thankfully locked, so she would be able to speak more openly, at least that was what she thought.

"So, your boss...he owns you fully, yea? You are a slave, I assume."

She became more serious, her smile leaving as she looked at Lyn, trying to read her face as she would respond. Still, she watched, keeping the conversation moving as Lyn did her job.

[member="Lyn'ara Okemi"]

She looked nervous as she continued her dance. "Brix.. yes. I am his. He won me in a stroke of luck after somehow cheating to the point where my master put me on the line and won me in a game of cards.." She giggled. "It all is worth it though when a doll like you comes around and saves me from the.. " She went quiet. "We really shouldn't be talking about this." She frowned turning her face away from her as she danced.

"I get to ask a question now. What is your name spacer?" She turned back with a smile and a graceful spin. The woman's armor was nearly set aside. It must have taken some worry off her shoulders in a gun fight. She was sure the armor wouldn't even budge to most blasters around here. It made Lyn feel.. safe with her. Protected. It was as if this woman was figuratively a suit of armor for Lyn at the moment. A suit she didn't quiet want off yet.

[member="Uyia Wryss"]

Uyia raised an eye brow at Lyn, not sure if she would prefer stating it or not. She smiled for the compliment, but The mentioning of the beatings pissed her off, she barely kept herself from leaving right at that moment to burn the owner. However, she decided that to get the information she wanted, she would need to relent and answer Lyn's own questions.

"Fine, I'll tell ya. Uyia Wryss, though I have no association with clan Wryss anymore."

She crossed her legs, looking at the slave. She was surprisingly not showing any of the beating marks, most likely covered by makeup. Uyia was having a slight blush to her face, though it didn't change her tone or facial expressions as she continued to speak.

"I get a question then: How often are you beat? As in, how much does he hurt you?"

[member="Lyn'ara Okemi"]

"Brix and his wife.. have.. problems. Problems that are usually taken out on me. I am okay with the beatings.. it is what happens after that I could live without.." If this woman said a thing to Brix it would mean more then beatings. But as she thought before.. she was safe with this one. She smiled lightly and continued to dance.

"Bruises heal quickly, he apologizes after. But.. if he was really sorry he would stop. He would pay me. But that is just the the life of a slave. Don't worry about me, just sit back and watch." She tried a big move that put a grin on her viewers face. She stood from it and smiled again.

"Alright my turn to ask now? Where did you get that armor? Are you from.. Madnor?" She asked butchering the name and doing her best to remember what is was called.. but failing.
[member="Uyia Wryss"]

She was irked that Lyn was so care free about being a slave, like she enjoyed it. And she was getting more ready to run out and kill this Brix fellow. It was good that Uyia was a safe space for Lyn to speak to, hopefully that would get her the information she wanted. That move did make Uyia smile slightly.

"When you say Madnor, I hope you mean Mandalore. Yes, I am, but the armor is from all over. Part scrap, part actual Mandalorian pieces. None are Beskar though."

Uyia's chest plate was removed by this point, though she would not remove anything else. She still needed to have some parts on incase she needed to move quickly to get out of the building. Her eyes drifted to Lyn's face once more, her gaze becoming colder almost.

"Final question: If I could give you something, anything really, what would it be?"
