Just read OP finally. Tbh, it's fine and I can sympathize with why, though -without stepping on too many toes here- I think it would be cool if they weren't so visible, or if it incorporated extravagant, textured font or at least a logo (hint hint the watermark can be much better blended/made more transparent and still stick out). On the flipside, it means artworks originally made by other people and found on image search engines or the like is being branded with the editor's mark, which is kind of a dis to the original artist. In a way it's like protecting plagiarism from plagiarism xD. Anywhooooooo... no skin off my nose, so I will speak no further.

I can has new signature? I found a most epic picture, and I felt like change anyway.

With both sides being so finely cropped, I'd suggest horizontally mirroring her and keeping her on the right side of the image, then fuzzing out some of the tail on the inward side to round it out.
Also, backgrounds. Because, potatoes.
