Tall Ships and Tall Kings

The Sovereignty looked almost peaceful sitting in space above Mustafar. This view would not have been possible from the planet's surface, the breaks in the ash ceiling were far too small and far inbetween to allow good view of space. The people of that planet then did not often see the vast expanse of space. It was an unfortunate turn of fate, since their metal had so often fueled the travels of other powers. Yet they rarely saw any reward for it.

It was unfortunate, but at this time Ultimatum would not do anything about it. He could not easily accomplish anything worthwhile. His plan would eventually repair the issue, emphasis on the eventually. It was just a process that would not reach fruition until a time in the future. He had a plan and so long as nothing got in the way, eventually freedom was assured, for all. They would just require patience until then.

That was why he was preparing for a trip. He had to get out, had to get more knowledge of the people beyond Mustafar. As it was, he knew a number of people who were important in one way or another. He hoped to travel and meet more to help him or at least to know him. He had sent out a message to some that he would be traveling, either to let them know he would be coming to a planet in their system or to give them the location of his original departure so that they could join him.

He waited on one of the asteroids floating around Mustafar, looking first to the Sovereignty and then out into space. He found it more beautiful when he could see the stars as they were, not through the lens of hyperspace. He liked to record these moments, silent and supremely elegant. This was something that organics needed to see, every last one should be able to come out into space and look at the stars with nothing in between them and the star except space.

He decided he would only wait a few more hours, those that came and joined him now would be able to choose their spots aboard the craft and pick the best. They would also have the most time with his newest friends, the Nekghouls of the Redeemed, They had insisted on coming to see more of the galaxy and Ultimatum had been glad to oblige.

It was another day in the White Palace, an echo of a scream rang throughout the Pitt were Thraxis kicked his feet up, his ceiling chair remaining still as he balanced it, his mind was awash with pleasure as he took the day off, letting the screams float through the wind. It was the day for the prisoner swap out, a day where he releases the current victims and swaps them out with some other randoms he can get the Gammoreans to grab off any street. Or any bounty that Salomone in the Cartel put up, though they had become seldom and less expensive ending in just mediocre wannabe men trying to make it in a world where everyone takes from the little man. But today was a calm day, a empty barrel that carried the faint whiff of alcohol radiated his small office overlooking the Cartel and left him to relax in his comfortable chair.
His tranquil thoughts of rage and brutality were quickly washed with a beeping, a message had come to him, it was rare for anything to come to him, he had felt left behind in a moving Galaxy, the Cartel had become once again a faint whisper of their once prestigious power and the Jackals had all taken their spoils and decided to vacation the rest of their lives away. His eye creaked open, an eyebrow raised as his hand slid along his leg, pulling itself onto his datapad, repeating the motion in a lazy manner as he kicked the table, his ceiling chair spinning as he read the message. As he finished reading he smashed his leg along the ground as the chair slowly came to a halt.

It was a name he had heard carried on the winds, a powerful Droid who dwarfed the might of Flannigan ten fold had messaged Thraxis. He quickly started to move to his armory, his mind awash with curiosity. He knew some of Madam Kay's allies, Ultimatum was from what little he knew one, as well as being ally to James. Both people he had wronged in the past. And quite possibly the future as well. He sent a message to a Jackal soldier to prepare one of their Light Freighter's for travel, packing it with a small group of men to aid him in case things go downhill.

All the while he started to pack his duffel bag up with what he would need, his Heavy Blasters for Suppression, his DEMP for prisoners and his personal Slugthrowers for firepower. Gathering the last of his ensemble he got into his armor and made the long trek up the Elevator, the gears turning liked ached muscles trying to pull along its withered frame. It took a few minutes for him to reach the ship, its body had been scrapped and bruised and any remaining paint had long been turned into space debris.

As he boarded the ship he got his datapad up, looking it over he started to bark his orders, the men's fingers following with a flurry of beeps as the ship began to raise from the surface, a soft hum slowly turning to a audible growl, until it reached the roar of a king, only for it to be siphoned away as they breached the atmosphere, the vacuum sucking away its prideful roar and in turn engulfing it and the ship in an eerie silence. Soon the stars began to slide across the ship, the feeling of the ship pushing its way through Hyperspace, its navigation set as it spent the next few hours taking its time to arrive at the predetermined location.

A flicker of metal, a pulse of an engine erupted through the space, the stars slowly yet suddenly coming to a halt as the ship exited Hyperspace, its metal carcass silently roaring as it hovered in space, looking over Mustafar. Thraxis got out of his seat, looking around he sent a message directed at Ultimatum, he had little idea so sent the message as far as he could, throughout the Asteroids, "Hello Baron of..." pausing for a second as he tried to read the name of the planet "Mustefair? I have been sent a message by you and am here now." he stopped for a second, looking around the ship he straightened himself up, his voice quickly changed as he finished his prepared speech. Huh... shoulda prepared more I suppose. Ah well time to fluke it. he thought to himself as he quickly realized he had come to a blank, "So uhh... whats up? What did ya need?" he continued as his lips pursed, his head slowly nodding up and down as he realized that a Baron might not know how to speak in any manner other then formal.

It was Hydra's first to mustafar, the volcanic activities came without warning but, he was ready he was always ready, he was getting paid for protecting his old friend Ultimatum even though he would do it for no money,But Ultimatum insisted Hydra gets paid for helping on his cruise though the galaxy.

Hydra walks up into the white palace, then to Ultimatum's human assistant, the assistant begins to looked terrified,Then Hydra remembered he mostly machine.

"Don't sweat it I get that reaction all the time, I understand why you find me unsettling " Hydra said in his cybernetic voice

"I am here to find Ultimatum" ,Hydra said

"No problem sir" The assignment said with a feeling of regret and fear, "His ship will be landing at dock 37 for a refill before leaving for his trip"

"Thank you, Ma'am" Hydra says has he walks of to dock 37 to meet up with his old friend

Gavin XIII

Sour Candy Sithspawn
Gavin was not a happy monster right then. His dinky little rental ship's navigation system had sent him right between Mustafar's two suns, tearing itself apart and sending him flying through empty vacuum at the sort of speed that would probably have made somebody else into a grease spot. As it was, he ran right into an airlock. Ouch. He grabbed for a handhold and just sat there, waiting for something to happen.

The elegant scene of dock 37 was like the old days, The engineers working in the spaces of technology wiring barking orders and fixing and changing the elements of the set. He fiddles with the two thermal imploders on the side of his torso. He decided to go over his weapons and
firepower, He always starts with his favorite riffle the E-9 paragon the rifle looked in perfect condition, Hydra liked keep it that way sharp and clean, then he pulled out his revolver and check it's rounds, he was missing one round but, it was of no worry he can always get another one. Then he checked his blades, the blades came out of his forearm as elegant as angels and as sharp as demons, lastly he checked is his rail cannon and grapple hook, the rail can formed out of his arm like he was commanding mercury, then his grapple hook formed on his other hand creating a gauntlet, he shot it hooked on one of the ship pillars and reeled in tell he was to the top, everything check now, how long will this take

Ultimatum had been waiting patiently, a communication array set up next to him on the asteroid. The message from the surface surprised him, apparently someone had scared a local assistant. Unfortunately this person had made a bad impression and had sent an emergency message to Ultimatum, requesting protection. Ultimatum could guess who it was, a person he had met relatively recently. He would need take care of that, but another message came through. This one was more immediate.

Baron of Mustafar. Well that was a new one. It was always fund to see the names that organics came up with. Some organic somewhere had come up with the name 'Lord of Mustafar' and that had been picked up among the locals, no matter what the droid did to rid the use of such bourgeois titles being used they never seemed to disappear. He had found a good use for them, they tended to cause organics to hold him as better than they, at least the locals tended to think that way, it allowed him to accomplish things that would have angered them otherwise.

Ultimatum replied quickly to [member="Thraxis"], "This is Ultimatum. I would like to discuss the potential of having your company on a trip I plan to take." The organic was partly correct in his thought, Ultimatum was more used to speaking in a professional manner for the most part. He had learned to vary his speech to fit with the circumstances and the audience. He wanted to have company on this trip, and he knew some of the Hutt Cartel that this man was supposed to work for. Ultimatum had also learned that the Hutt Cartel had lost power in the recent times and he guessed that meant a slowing in the work this man had. If not that, then there was perhaps good pay to be gotten from this venture.

He turned his attention to the other person and sent a droid to take care of the issue and to get the person to the right place. Then came a message from the Sovereignty, someone had smashed into one of the airlocks. Fortunately it had been open so the man had just dented the inner door, an easier repair than the outer door. This was starting well, already two incidents.

----------------

MU-01 received a command from Ultimatum, not directly of course, he was not one of the droids programmed with that inherent ability to think almost exactly the same as their master. Instead the droid had been told by Legion, technically the third Legion since the droid had lost its body twice. Apparently MU needed to go talk to an organic individual about traveling to the Sovereignty in order to prepare for the travels. He was to offer the organic a trip on the Fate to the ship.

The droid found [member="Hydralord"] atop a pillar and he had to speak loudly in order to get the organic's attention, "Sir, Ultimatum sends his regards and requests that you meet him aboard the Sovereignty in preparation for departure. If you require transport there is a vessel standing by to take you there. When you are ready."

-----------------

Aboard the Sovereignty, Lobarch had been taking Frinnesh for a walk through the ship. Showing the creature what not to bite and what to avoid trying to get into. The Rakghoul was sometimes too curious for its own good and often enough got itself into trouble. He was enjoying the walk to sate his own curiosity at the surroundings. The Nekghoul was still getting used to the idea of living inside a metal construct, he sometimes wondered how the older tribe members handled it.

He was walking down a corridor, that a sign showed was along the edge of the craft, when there was a very loud bang on his left. His instincts kicked in and he turned quickly, falling into a more primal stance preparing for a fight. He was about to whistle to tell the Rakghoul to attack when he noticed that there was only a dent in the wall where previously there had been none. This was surprising and he brought himself back to a proper standing position and clicked towards Frinnesh, telling the creature to calm down and wait. A small astromech droid raced by and hooked itself up to the wall near the dent. A few seconds later a noise could be heard on the other side, then the dent moved. It was a passageway? There was a slight gust of wind as the door opened and on the otherside all the Nekghoul saw was another being and a door not a meter from the first. Had that creature been living in there? That seemed very tight for anything of the size.

The Nekghoul stayed for only a moment before being ushered off by a bipedal droid that reminded him of the medical droids that Karshen had brought them before to get 'inoculations' whatever that meant. Medical droid, wasn't that the word he used? Either way the medical droid turned its attention to the human like being that had come out of the small domicile on the side of the craft and was trying to see if it was injured.

[member="Gavin XIII"]

"Perfect! I will be arriving soon." he responded to the message, cutting communications he looked to the men, ordering to be taken within Ultimatum's vicinity, he was still cautious. A droid could change everything about them, it would be easy enough to get rid of any tell signs that they would be lying. Though Thraxis had no real knowledge of the tell signs, but that didn't stop him from wanting to try.

With a shimmer the engine began to spit energy as it broke from a halt into a sluggish dawdle, slowly gaining momentum as it headed closer towards the Sovereignty. It took a few minutes to move through the asteroids, its Servo Laser Cannons blasting away the silent rocks as with each empty collisions the rocks spat apart, making small paths for the ship to move through.

All the while Thraxis had sent a message through the ship, telling the men to arm themselves with what little they ever had, nothing more then standard Blaster Pistols and rifles had armed the men as they moved around, readying themselves at the docking bay, if this was a trap, the men would be ready for an all out firefight, though the chances of them surviving with the sovereignty was slim to none.

Ultimatum took to his own ship, the Forerunner and made his way quickly to the Sovereignty. The movement of [member="Thraxis"]'s ship through the asteroid field would make it more than likely beat the droid to the Sovereignty. This was no trick, the Sovereignty's weapons remained offline, however its stealth drive was prepared to activate should an enemy jump into the system. That was something that was always a possibility and one that Ultimatum tried to account for. The Sovereignty was too important to him to take risks.

The Hangar would be large enough for both the freighter Thraxis had and the Forerunner. There were only a few droids in there and they would do little other than aid the ship's landing and refuel the vessel. There was little danger to the men presented from the Sovereignty or its crew. Ultimatum would land his ship and try to be off quick enough to give the visitors a proper welcome.

As the ship came close Thraxis looked at Soveregnity. Twas a fearsome thing to look at, being a Hammerhead Class ship Thraxis looked at it with a gleam in his eyes, that was the kind of ship he wanted to go down in, not from a firefight, but from ramming all opposition that stood in his way. But that was for the future, for now the ship weaved through a few more asteroids before docking into the ship.

Thraxis rose from his seat, slowly and cautiously moving towards the exit. The slow churn of the ship as it lowered its entrance bay and the sound of a hundred guns locking and readying in the event that gunfire ensued. After a few minutes Thraxis moved out of the ship, standing ready and alone as he looked to the Droids. He moved slowly towards one, his hand moving to his lips as he let out a slight cough, "Excuse me, I have been informed that Ultimatum requested an audience. Is he here?" Thraxis inquired, his other arm holding his helmet as his eyes moved erratically around the ship, carefully watching and waiting for either an ambush or the droid to makes its appearance.

Hydra finally got a message from his friend,
"Take me to the ship that I will be transported to the forerunner" Hydra said to the U3 class battle droid

"Roger , Roger " It replied as hydra followed it down the streets of the sovereignty until they reached a star port, And there it was a sovereignty galaxy runner one of the fastest fighters in the galaxy. Hydra wanted one he was so close to shooting the droid and taking it but, he remembered the soverinty of mustafar was is ally and also owned by his friend.

"The flight shouldn't take long sir, It is strait ahead" The droid said in the silence with its comical voice. A few minutes went by admiring the stars as they started to dock the forerunner. As he comes out of the docking bay he can see Ultimatum stepping up to greet him.

"It is good to see you Hydra look forward to our trip",Ultimatum said to hydra to explain his excitement for his journey

The droid that [member="Thraxis"] interrupted turned its attention to the organic. It nodded and pointed to the ship that had finished landing next to the shuttle. This droid was not made for speech, being a simple construction droid, its purpose was to move supplies around the hangar as required, along with four others like it. Its computing power was minimal, but it proved to be enough to allow it to answer basic questions.

-------------------

Ultimatum stepped out of the ship and walked towards Thraxis, the organic was fairly easy recognized from the rest of his party. "Greetings. Apologies for the delay. You may have questions I would ask that you hold onto them until we reach the briefing room." The droid pulled out a small map which he held out for Thraxis to take before continuing, "It should be right near the bridge. You are welcome to bring as many of your men to the room as you would want, for the others there are living spaces in the marked areas. One moment."

He turned on his heel and looked back to [member="Hydralord"], a very new acquainted and one that Ultimatum was still not fully sure of. Nonetheless, he was as friendly as he could be to the organic. Uncertainty in this case was not a safe thing. "Good to see you Hydra. Head to the briefing room and I will see if anyone else wishes to join us before we set off." Ultimatum was looking forward to this trip, firstly for the organic matter that he intended on picking up along the way. He planned on collecting as many samples as possible. It would be a question of where they would go. The first plan that he had was Mon Calamari. He had heard of a most intriguing little being that could be found in its waters. But that was for future he wanted to tell these people of his plans.

Gavin XIII

Sour Candy Sithspawn
Everybody's first sight of Gavin would be the frazzled-looking blonde man stepping through a ruined bulkhead as a blast door closed behind him. Punching through airlocks wasn't something he did often, or liked to do at all. Too much else to worry about when he didn't have any air. He looked around a little, then settled into a chair with a slightly apologetic air.

"Sorry about that... Vacuum isn't a fun place, no matter how long I can do without air."

[member="Ultimatum"]

Thraxis gladly took the paper, turning his head and nodding to the men, making them scurry back into the ship. All the while Ultimatum talked his mind rung with how formal it seemed this scenario was. Briefing room... bridge... map. Damn it, this ship is already more named then the one I was just on. All that had was Hangar and Command station. I bet it even ha- his mind cut mid thought as he heard bedding, Damn it, its like some sort of luxury ship or something. all the while he observed the robots body, shiny metal plates and it looked like it could house at least three different guns. Something he would need to be careful if a firefight broke out.

Thraxis tuned towards the man who had just exited the... what appeared to be new hole in the side of the ship. His eyes slowly clasped together, a trait he had picked up from the Hutts, an equivalent to the sarcastic brow. Which he then proceeded to do. Though after a few seconds the man looked familiar. He couldn't quite put his finger on it but knew he had met the men before. Though pushed the thought aside, coming back to address another new face... or amalgamation of robotics that looked as i it was strewn into flesh.

"Well... it seems at the very least we have a... diverse group of men rallied here. I suppose I will meet you in the Briefing room." he said as he walked away, passing the man who had made a... unorthodox entrance, eyeing him up and down before continuing to walk away. "Looks so damn familiar." he said as he shook his head, a few of the men following him while the rest took the map, heading towards their sleeping quarters.

Hydra was waiting in the briefing room even though he never briefed he would just sit there and listen were they are going then get prepared but tonight there was a gut feeling that made hydra want to talk to help with solutions of the travel. He doesn't know were this feeling is coming from and why he wants to help plot the travel. He had to search deep in his memory for something like this, oh yes the time of the galactic war. Then droids and people began to walk in messing his train of thought

"Are we going to began" Hydra said

Ultimatum shook his head slightly, well there was still work being done in the ship, guess that would just need to be repaired as well. Fortunately the damage was to an airlock and was therefore somewhat easier to fix than a hole in the hull itself. "Please, no need to apologize. If you would come with me." He said to [member="Gavin XIII"] as he began walking to the briefing room. This ship was far from a luxury yacht, thought Ultimatum did not intend on using any of the ship's more special capabilities on this trip. Not at this point anyways. He wanted for the abilities to remain unseen for the time being.

Once everyone was in the briefing room Ultimatum closed the door and dimmed the lights a little. A holoprojector attached to a far wall would light up and show Mustafar. "Thank you all for coming. I believe that most of you know who I am, but to save time for those who might not my name is Ultimatum. I control the world we currently orbit and captain this ship. I called each of you to offer a place on this ship as we travel. I have a plan to travel through the stars to various systems in order to seek out new areas in which to expand the Legacy of Organics Manufacturer. Due to the nature of the trip I expect there to be little trouble, however as the galaxy is in a chaotic state I am almost certain that there will be conflict. Hence I have called on each of you in order to help in that case. The intended flight path will take us to Utapau, from there to DNX-N1, Nam Chorios, Vergesso Asteroids, Iego, and Dac. Before anything else, does anyone have questions?" As he had spoken, the projector had shown a basic idea of the intended flight path through the galaxy.

-----------

One of the Nekghouls stayed outside the room. Karshen had been told to wait until Ultimatum opened the door. Something about most people reacting a little violently to a creature of his appearance. That was one of the things that Karshen didn't like about others, they judged too quickly based on nothing more than a face. He looked forward to seeing these people and hoped in a way that they would act and he would be able to defend himself. He hated people, they had hunted him and his people.

[member="Thraxis"] [member="Hydralord"]

Thraxis was forced to dismiss the men that followed him, leaving them to wonder around the ship confused without any knowledge of the ships anatomy. Though he paid little heed, he was in the same scenario as them, since his men snatched his map. His attention snapped to the projector, watching inattentively as his arms tented, his head balancing on a few raised digits. Though a word stuck in his mind, Conflict. He looked to the rest of the people around, if anything this was a good idea to get a feel for the group of men Ultimatum had assembled.

"Yes actually." he said as his arms folded, hands cupping, he decided that now was the opportune moment. "You said there would be conflict. Now, if I work with people, I like to have an idea of their capabilities in a fight.'' he said, it might have seemed rude but Thraxis was never one to dance around an issue, "So, what is everyone capabilities in a fight." he said as he looked around the room, an eyebrow raised as a sly smile spread his lips.

no one wanted to answer thraxis so hydra thought, what he should bring out first, oh I know

"Well jackal I can dismember everything with this blades" Hydra said as his blades came out of his forearm gleaming in the briefing room light

" I also have a E-9 paragon riffle that powers it's bolts with electric scion" Hydra said pulling out his riffle and putting it on the table

"I can reach different places with my grapple hook" Hydra said as he showed it forming from his wrist

"I got my trusty one shot revolver" Hydra said without explaining it's importance to him

"Oh this one is my favorite" Hydra said this while demonstrating his rail gun "once this is charged up any thing in it's way is going to lose parts"
