Te Riduurok Ori'skraan be Briika bol Kable (Mando'ade Wedding Celebration)

Alexandra Feanor

The Lady in Silver/Grey Historian
Alexandra drank from her glass some more, oblivious to the prying eyes and focusing on the liquid in her cup. She was curious as to how it tasted so odd, but it was a good taste to her so there was no reason to nod drink it. She did glance up every so often from where she sat and glanced around the room as to take down the sights of those here but otherwise would do little but sit there and drink.

Rianna melted into the arms of her husband, those beautiful grey green eyes that looked at her with such love, she could only hope that her reflected the love she felt for him. She felt his hands upon her skin as he held her delicately gently as if she would break only for his grip to tighten holding her close as if to never let her go. She was tired of spending so much time a part and with the recent changes it would soon be possible for her to be with him more, to learn more and for him to teach her some hand to hand skills. His lips pressed to hers, she closed her eyes and felt everything around them, the joy, the excitement, the agitation. Agitation?

Rianna slid her arms around his neck, "You have not told me today, but let me tell you I love ner ka'rta, there is nothing I wouldn't do for you" The bond of marriage was growing stronger between them perhaps some of it was the time a part, just as she leaned over to tell him what she had planned for later, she felt another hand touch her skin, the familiar presence of Anija floated to her. There would be later.

Rianna looked over to the new couple, she could feel their love for one another it radiated around the room touching everyone. Then she looked over a the young woman who had crossed the room with such purpose, "Anija" Rianna looked at her daughter, "Are you ready to have your fill of ale and shatual?"

At Rianna's question, Anija chuckled. She had the distinct impression she'd interrupted something for a moment. Her blue eyes scanned the room for a moment as she nodded. "Aye, more than. I could use some down time after the last round of training. Been working hard on improving my piloting skills. [member="Arrbi Betna"] was kind enough to arrange for me to test some of the craft at Mandal Hypernautics." She spoke quietly, knowing where Rianna's thoughts might go, given the wording. But what she said was entirely innocent. That being said, she glanced around to see if Arrbi was there yet.

Nolan finished serving the last guest and left the meat for others to grab themselves. Taking a pair of pints, he walked to the table occupied by the white haired woman.

May I temp you with a refill young lady? My name is Nolan Detta, Kable is my older brother... Mind if I join you?

He wanted to make a positive first impression, maybe bring out the real Nolan in a moment, once he gets to know the beautiful woman.

Her eyes rose to look at @Nolan Detta for a moment before smiling and nodded. Her hand moved to wave to a nearby open seat and her silver eyes didnt move from him as she sat there. "I would be glad to have the company of another for the time, as for the offer of a drink that is one thing that cant possibly be passed up." She let her voice remain soft and kind, hands crossing themselves on the table before her. @Nolan Detta

Nolan passed the pint over to her, sat across and met her gaze. Silver eyes, to match her hair, porcelain skin and a figure that one would think came from a fine art gallery.

Might I ask your name? As far as I can tell, you are of a more refined cut than one such as myself or the rest of this lot I call family, Nolan chuckled pointing to the wedding party, obviously joking.

He wanted to start with something lighthearted to loosen her mood hopefully. The pint should help with that, and being such a splendid occasion, why wouldn't Nolan want to continue the tradition that is Nolan and be the guy to make a beautiful woman laugh. He knew nothing of her, but that was made her ever more interesting.

She took the drink in hand and drank from it as she heard his words erupt from him in a calm sense, with a tinge of humor behind them that he had meant to convey to her as well. Smiling and placing the pint down a bit more gingerly than would have been necessary she smiled and shook her head as she answered him, making sure that his comment about her being a more refined cut was put into question.

"Oh no no no, i was raised in an underground compound after being picked up off the streets in the gutters, so for all intents and purposes im nothing of the sort. Though, while on the topic of who i am, Alexandra, private in the Red Legion, Historian of the Grey, and all around mercenary that really gets bored on jobs most of the time without something to read." She grinned at him and crossed her hands under her chin as she waited for his response, elbows on the table as she leaned forward so to make her leaning her chin on her hands possible. @Nolan Detta

After getting a plateful of roasted shatual with the trimmings and a refill on her ale, Briika sat down at the bride and groom's decorated table out on the patio with her riduur in tow as they didn't plan to be apart during the festivities unless nature called. The married Dettas were like salt n pepper now… one couldn't be too far from the other on the table. Maybe that was a good thing, maybe bad, but they were enjoying every minute of their two-someness.

The blonde Mando'ad dug into her food, then followed it down with a decent sip from her pint. The meat was perfectly cooked. [member="Nolan Detta "]had done a great job. She leaned over and placed her petite hand on [member="Kable Detta"]'s armored thigh under the table, her fingertips running along the inside of his leg. "Gods I'm so happy and proud to be your riduur," Bree smiled brightly with love dancing in her eyes for the dark-haired Detta brother that stole her heart from day one on The Wheel.

A few more bites were taken of the meat and another drink of ale, then Briika watched with amusement what was going on at another table bringing a big grin to her face.

"Your vod'ika seems to be breaking the ice with [member="Alexandra Cinthra"] rather well… Do you think he has any chance of closing the deal with that one?"

On the streets?! I doubt that, you must be trying to make yourself seem more modest. Possibly to make me feel for you, no? He smirked at her playfully.

Hoping to make her blush, to break the ice completely. He took a big swig of his Circe Green Ale as he awaited her response.

[member="Rianna Ordo"] was dancing with her husband, @Ordo. Preliat had just entered, and he looked worse for wear. There seemed to be a permanent scowl on his face, a hardness that had not been there before. He entered the wedding celebrations, placing his bucket on a table near the entrance. He only carried his Beskad on his back, no jetpack. He always looked prepared for a fight, however. The shawl around his neck, light and functional like the ones he typically wore, and there was one in his hand. It was red, and checkered. It was a nice red, not too bright, but not too dark. It was very special, as his mother had made it at his request.

He didn't say anything, he wasn't a man of many words when he set it on top of [member="Kable Detta"]'s shoulder. He smiled at him, but said nothing more. Nothing needed to be said. He walked, moving further into the festivities. He didn't look comfortable, but he wouldn't dare miss a fellow Mandalorian's celebrations.

A lone figure in black armor entered the room and looked around a moment. After spotting who he was looking for, he made his way over and stood next to her. Betna then popped the seals on his helmet and clipped it to his belt with an easy smile.

"Su'cuy," he said happily to Anija and her parents. "Sorry I'm late, hit a bit of traffic I had to bypass around. How are you all doing?"

She smiled as she heard his familiar footsteps, even as loud as the room was. She was never very good at social gatherings - a holdover from her own past. It was something she still struggled with. "Ori'jate." She said in answer to his question as her eyes scanned the room. "It's nice to get away from work once in a while to just relax."

She was late.

A sick sensation settled into the pit of her stomach at the idea - Ralize was never late. For anything. Ever. She didn't like being late now, even though it was completely unavoidable. She knew Briika and Kable would understand, as well, which made her sigh - and Kad would just shrug and say that's the way things went. The emergency that had her scrambling all afternoon had only just been cleared up, and she didn't even think of going home to get her armor. Getting into it would delay her more than she could tolerate. At least, she mused, she'd kept a few things upstairs in her old apartment so she could wash up and make herself presentable.

Fingers smoothed out her tanktop, settling it over the denim of her snug jeans. A quick glance in the mirror and she dragged her fingers through her long curls. Presentable, she thought, and dashed out the door.

-----

Biting her lower lip as she arrived, Ralize's expression warmed and her emerald gaze fairly glowed as she laid eyes on [member="Kad Tor"], his own gaze searching those around him. She threaded her way through the assembled crowd and came up behind him, fingers reaching up to tap his shoulder as she spoke. "Looking for someone, Kad'ika?"

Kad was looking around the brewery and pub when he felt a tap, or heard a tap, on his armored shoulder. A familiar voice follwed, and a smile crept up on his face as he continued to look around.

"There is this really pretty, petite, spitfire, brunette mechanic that just recently moved in with me. I was hoping she would be here, but I guess she isn't coming so how about I pick you up instead."

The Mando'ad chuckled as he turned to pick his Ral'ika up and kissed her on the lips, not caring who saw. [member="Ralize Darkfeather"] had saved his life with an extravagant display of force power. The return from Bastion had been very monumental for the pair as couple. Kad was not going to say a thing to his sister, Kable, about the fact Ral had moved in, or what the two were doing in their spare time. Kad had been raised very traditionally by his buire, but the traditional values in regards to the couple's intimacy had been tossed out the window after Kad had almost been killed.

"You look amazing as always... and I might add it's much easier getting you out of that than armor later..."

Yes, Kad was a male, a young one at that, but the pair had decided they were together for the long run. Which meant eventually they would be having their own riduurok ori'skraan. When? They hadn't decided. As with any Mando couple someday one of them would initiate and recite the riduurok and if the other wanted the same, they would return it. Kad already knew where his mind was on the matter. He just wanted to meet Ral's family first.

"Come on, let's grab some ale, congratulate the couple, then sneak off and have our own little party."

Okay, Kad was bad.

Ordo looked at his riduur and smiled. She had that way about her. She could always seem to bring out the best in him. He looked at Anija as she arrived and noted how far she had come since that tough little street rat on Corellia. He watched her eyes and held Rianna close to his side as Arrbi walked in. His black armor not much different than Ordo's own.

"Been testing Arrbi's vessel huh?" Ordo said making his best fake scowl, "Do we need to have a chat young Vod?"

Ordo nudged his wife gently to try to goad her into playing along as a server moved through with drinks Ordo took two and passed one to Ri'ika as he looked at the young couple.

She smiled back at him and did red though it was only noticeable due to the single fact of how pale she was."Thank you for the words, though i can assure you im not lie. After all, its not like you were born in some mansion, surrounded by gardens and architecture right?" Her smile turned into a grin and her eyes bright as she sat back in the chair. Idle conversation was always a fun thing and something that could certainly bring out the best in people, and sometimes the worst.

She laughed softly for a brief moment, arms winding around his neck as he picked her up and spun her around. Whatever words were lingering on the tip of her tongue were lost the moment he kissed her, and the noise of the revelry around them faded out of her awareness. She didn't care who saw them either - after Bastion...well. After Bastion, everything had changed.

Ralize had known before Bastion that she'd loved [member="Kad Tor"], but hadn't been able to bring herself to say anything. But when she'd nearly lost him, and he hadn't cared what she'd had to do to save him...it pulled the declaration of love past lips that had held it in for far too long. Now she couldn't stop saying it. Funny how things worked that way.

Tilting her head back breathlessly, her eyes were glowing a brilliant, sparkling emerald, energy and adoration reflected within. Ralize hugged him tight, forehead pressing to his as he held her. Her heart raced in her chest at his suggestion as he finally put her back down on her own two feet. "I think that's the best idea you've had all day...although perhaps you should leave out the part about my clothes when we talk to your sister, Kad'ika."

Well true, but my garden is the battlefield and my architecture is my armor. As your garden must be the Force and your architecture is your beautiful physique. He said with a wink
Nolan smiled at Alexandra flirtatiously.

"His vessel" Rianna smiled, "did you make sure the shafts and drives were all oiled, and placed?" She was trying to be clever, she was not sure if what she said would have the desired affect only the look on their faces would tell.

She tilted her head, and then looked up at her Riduur, "A chat may be needed if they did not do it right." She blinked innocently, and waited.

There was a few seconds of silence between the four of them, and then Anija cleared her throat a bit nervously. "Aye....they have..." she said carefully. Initially, she'd been refering to testing out the bes'uliik at Mandal Hypernautics, but it seemed Rianna and Ordo had something else in mind. Reaching back, she gripped Arrbi's hand for a momnt and waited to see what he would say.
