I'm Sexy and I Know It
Throughout the more questionable areas of the galaxy and placed on mercenary bounty boards in various cantinas and taverns throughout the stars a job board of sorts has appeared in the last few days and weeks. The jobs vary from simple to complex, safe to lethal, and all pay in various degrees. Included are coordinates, both in space and on planets, for the dead drops and payment locations (where applicable). The jobs, you can easily see, are listed here on the board:
Mission: Smoke 'Em if You Got 'Em
Difficulty Rating: XX
Location: Kessel to Raxus (SJO space, so this would need to be a public thread)
Objective: Another unmarked shipment of glitterstim spice is sitting at Kessel and ready to go. Take the shipment from Kessel to Raxus Prime in the Raxus System. The dead drop is beneath the front half of a pile of scrap consisting of an Imperial Star Destroyer's bow and a few heaps of hyperdrives from the newer Republic ships. If successful, your payment pickup is located on Tatooine in the Scandalous Sands Gentleman's Club in Mos Eisley.
No corporations are targeted, but as this goes through SJO space, SJO must be allowed to oppose if desired.
Mission: Go Big or Go Home
Difficulty Rating: X
Location: Crystalsong
Objective: Tourism is coming to Crystalsong whether they like it or not. To attract the galaxy's adventure seekers, namely the big game hunters' attention, you've been contracted to hunt down the biggest, baddest, and nastiest creatures the planet has to offer. Holos, pelts, teeth, and other hunting trophies must be taken and cataloged at the Tenloss trading posts on the planet. For those that find a new species to hunt, and can confirm said species, a bigger and better reward awaits.
No corporations are targeted, no major faction clouds are affected. This can be done privately or publicly. For those finding new species, a species submission is required and must be linked upon the end of the RP thread (yes, this means your thread is a dev thread. Congrats!).
Mission: You Must Construct Additional Pylons
Difficulty Rating: XX
Location: Khorm (Mandalorian Space)
Objective: Tenloss is expanding to Khorm, but hasn't had an opportunity to survey the planet yet. Go planetside and start setting up geological scanners along the mountains and hills. Once the pylons are up, activate them and send the data to Tenloss' databases. Be careful, though. The Mandos generally don't like whoever they see as trespassers. Tenloss' advice is to be polite, be civil, and keep your paperwork in order and ready.
No corporations are targeted, but the Mandalorian faction owns Khorm. The Mandalorians must be allowed to enter the thread if so desired.
Mission: Now You See Me, Now You Don't
Difficulty Rating: XXX
Location: Aeten II to Csilla
Objective: Tenloss has managed to pick up a little bit of stygium from an undisclosed source on Aeten II. Go there and pick up the package from the supplier, then head to the edge of Csilla. Once on the outskirts of the system, you'll meet with an unmarked scout ship. They will install a small module on your ship using the stygium you've brought them that will allow you to cloak. Your task from that point is to make it to the planet and back without being shot down. If successful, your reward will be proportional to the levels of success. Attempts to steal the module will fail the mission and the module will be rendered inoperable due to the fragility of the device. Attempts to steal the stygium will fail the mission and would be useless as such a small amount of stygium will not cloak a ship without the device it was intended for.
No corporations are targeted, but the One Sith own Csilla and the Mandalorians own Aeten II. Tenloss recommends a seperate thread for each stage: one for the Mandos and one for the Sith. Both factions must be allowed to oppose if desired.
All rewards and payments are determined based on quality of writing, fair play, length of threads, levels of success, and completing the mission's objectives.
Failing a mission gains no reward. Complaints given to me by Faction Owners on the receiving end of these missions due to unfair play, poor attitudes, or breaking board rules will, if verified to be true, gain no rewards and may warrant board Staff attention.
Difficulty ratings are given by the X's, ranged from one X (easy) to five X's (hard).
