I've been interested in figuring out a way to combat the "my ship is precious, no harm shall come to it" branch of fleeting, or at least just add some level of randomness to it. I've played a lot of tabletop roleplay over the years, and I've always liked the combat mechanics involved in them, especially because not every attack is a hit or a critical and tactics really do matter. So I've endeavored to make an attempt at drafting something up of a mechanic for fleeting that I'd like to test out and see if it works.
I'm looking for someone willing to test it out with me, preferably someone from either SO or GA since you're the two major naval powers near TRE (though I'm open to a skirmish with anyone). I'd like to start with something small scale. Only a handful of ships with the max being a Star Destroyer level vessel.
