She could’ve left it at that, but instead she gave an entire speech listing off potential reasons that killing civilians could be seen as beneficial to their cause. Marcus had just wanted to know what her reasons for doing it were, and she did eventually come to that. TL;DR she was just an everyday sadist. He continued to shoot at spaceships, his chair swiveling while he listened to her in one ear, air traffic control in another. “All perfectly valid reasons,” he said, giving her a smile. “So why did you still say there is no purpose to it?”
Any further conversation on the matter was ended by the arrival of a Jedi. Despite the girl’s warning beforehand, Marcus was still wide-eyed when he turned around to face Kellen Mynn. The boy had been in duels before, but never against a Master. While Syala taunted the Jedi, Marcus shot an uncertain glance at her, unsure if they could survive this encounter. It certainly seemed more prudent to just flee than try to fight this guy—
Marcus looked up. He recognized the hex devil—he had faced one in Drear’s Academy on Odacer-Faustin not so long ago. They seemed a rather popular choice for the Sithspawn-inclined. Between the monster and the third Acolyte now joining their ranks, they might actually have a chance against Master Mynn.
Well, that sort of put a damper on his relief. Scowling, Marcus shot the alchemist a glare, the visions revealing that the Firrerreo was trying to do something questionable. In fact, the visions revealed quite a lot about the so-called minion master…
“I don’t give a chit, just as long as you help us survive this,” Marcus snapped. He activated his lightsaber, the blue blade flaring to life as he took a swing at Kellen Mynn’s head.

Blue fire erupted from the rafters above, snaking its way down towards the Jedi as if they were living snakes. To burn, to capture as if they were solid chains.

"Marcus Dinn, Syala." There was no reason to say their names than self serving. For him, names were power. They might not realize it, but he was putting all of them below him.
Well, that sort of put a damper on his relief. Scowling, Marcus shot the alchemist a glare, the visions revealing that the Firrerreo was trying to do something questionable. In fact, the visions revealed quite a lot about the so-called minion master…
"His corpse will make fine materials. Do you mind if I take it?"
